Over the years, I've taken phones to several repair places. As a rule of thumb, it is a great deal…read more-- extending the life of a phone with a new battery or a replacement for a cracked screen is good for the pocketbook, good for the environment, and a way to reduce your own stress as you avoid having to transition to a new thing all the time. I've been using my current Samsung Galaxy for a few years, and like it. It is still performing well, and I like the size, although the battery performance was starting to wane. So I went online and bought a replacement battery (OEM) for about $10 on ebay, thinking I would just install it myself. After watching some youtube videos and trying to get the back cover off, I gave up and decided to have a pro do it. I reached out to a few different places, and the going rate was about $85 for a replacement battery installed -- but of course I already had the part! The guy here, however, was willing to install my provided part, and only charged me $45 for labor (a perfectly reasonable price, after I watched those youtube videos). The phone turned out great, and the operator of the business was friendly. I'm sure I'll be back for another repair in the future. (for those who are curious, this is in the building with Agility computers; Inside the building, there is a partition separating the iPhone repair business from the computer business)

Hey Yelp, why are you hiding dozens of 5-star reviews for this place?? iFix's Dominic is a total…read moresavior, and deserves loud visible praise! He revived our dead iPad by replacing its battery, fast and easy for only $150, despite Apple telling us nothing could be done. Even better was how nice and reassuring he was! He listened patiently to our our sad shameful confession that it wasn't backed up nor signed into an Apple ID, understood with great empathy our worry about potentially losing all the great cat pics & videos we had on it, and discussed magical ways he could extract them if we couldn't figure out how to transfer them ourselves after he fixed the battery! He was great at explaining all the steps we needed to take, without overwhelming us. That's a priceless skill! We literally left smiling and hopeful, and he texted 2 days later it was all fixed up and ready for pickup. Mission accomplished! Double praise due because he also answered questions about my inability to iCloud backup my ridiculously old iPhone 7 before I purchased a new phone! Apple had told me nothing could be done about that either. Dominic explained that I could use my son's Mac to save all files, and reassured me if they didn't download properly onto new iPhone he could use his equipment to extract whatever was missing! His gentle confidence literally dissipated years of anxiety and procrastination over getting a new phone, and guess what - I am typing this review on my shiny new iPhone 17 with everything transferred just fine! Thank you, Dominic! So, I highly recommend that you use iFix, and see Dominic. In this often confusing and intimidating new world where our lives are saved on tech gadgets that we're not trained for, you can trust him to make you feel better and cure your problems! Parking's easy around there, ring the doorbell for entry.

But also the extensive knowledge and experience of the phone tech. The owner is kinda a prick but he's rarely there. The phone tech is tops. They've always had someone who speaks Spanish as well. These guys get the job done quicker for the best price. And do a better job. This last time the guy suggested I replace the whole back plate instead of just the camera lens glass. He said it's easier and the glass would be better coming with a back instead of installed into a back. I got a new better colored phone back and paid like a third because I guess doing the whole back is easier and quicker and cheaper.
