I've been using my current Samsung Galaxy for a few years, and like it. It is still performing well, and I like the size, although the battery performance was starting to wane. So I went online and bought a replacement battery (OEM) for about $10 on ebay, thinking I would just install it myself. After watching some youtube videos and trying to get the back cover off, I gave up and decided to have a pro do it. I reached out to a few different places, and the going rate was about $85 for a replacement battery installed -- but of course I already had the part! The guy here, however, was willing to install my provided part, and only charged me $45 for labor (a perfectly reasonable price, after I watched those youtube videos). The phone turned out great, and the operator of the business was friendly. I'm sure I'll be back for another repair in the future. (for those who are curious, this is in the building with Agility computers; Inside the building, there is a partition separating the iPhone repair business from the computer business)

Travis took it in and when he got the phone apart he pulled the connector off of the board. It wasn't due to his inabilities but actually the way Google (which I will never buy another phone from) designs their phones. Travis was able to solder on another connector but then realize the cable between the screen and the connector was also broken. When he went to try to get another connector (GOOGLE WON'T SELL THE CABLE) so what does Travis do? He buys me another phone. He could have so easily ripped me off here but instead of doing that, he did the right thing and the good thing for his business. I can't recommend the fix Hut enough. I walked over to Ifix never having been here before, and found the employees to be professional honest and easy to work with. The glass was ordered and although it took a bit longer to arrive, the work was done correctly. Unfortunately, the mouse USB was left at iFix and realized it hours later. When I called it was confirmed the USB was there and Lucas dropped it off at my home. What awesome customer service. For future needs I will be going directly back to iFix and would recommend you go there as well for your phone, tablet and computer needs.

I came to this place as a last resort because I was a little skeptical of it being a mall kiosk, but to my surprise the man who worked there was very helpful. My experience here was truly unpleasant and infuriating…read more I stopped in to the Pearl location on 4/27. My phone has a loose speaker grill and the front glass of my phone needs to be replaced, as it is so scratched that the selfie camera is unusable. First off, despite being the only customer in the store, I had to wait ~5 minutes before the clerk came out of the back room. When he finally appeared I asked about the needed repairs, and the clerk said, "Sure I can do that." Then he told me that all he could do for the speaker was squirt some superglue up into the speaker port/grille and that it "might fix the issue but usually doesn't and blocks the speaker. But that's the only thing I can do about that." So the "Sure I can do that" was just a lie. That isn't a repair, that is squirting superglue and hoping for the best. Luckily I managed to stop him before he did it without verifying that I actually wanted him to do it. He quite literally was already reaching for the glue until I said "Well, then I absolutely don't want you to do that." THEN the clerk proceeded to pull out a screen protector box, and began opening it. When I saw him get the screen protector out, I asked him, "Is that a screen protector? Because I actually need the front glass replaced." He didn't stop what he was doing, continued applying the screen protector, and just said, "That's not worth it." Despite the fact that I already explained to him that I had a VERY specific reason for requesting that the glass of the phone itself be replaced. I never requested that he apply a screen protector, in fact I tried to stop him from applying it. He didn't even ask me about the type of screen protector, and installed a matte one. Even if I wanted a screen protector, I never would have selected a matte one, nor would I have applied it on an already heavily damaged screen. And, obviously, the screen protector over the top of the scratched glass does nothing to fix the selfie camera issue. He also installed it without the typical application tool, so the screen protector was misaligned. Frankly it really felt like the clerk simply wasn't interested in doing any actual repair work, and just wanted me to leave so he could go into the back room and chill there again. He was doing anything "repair" he could, as fast as he could, so that he had an excuse to charge me for it, even though he failed to do anything I asked.
