Absolutely do NOT spend your money here. Screen replacement did not work for my phone and he also destroyed the phone in the process. At an official Apple Store they discovered "panic codes" coming up repeatedly which meant the phone would inevitably be unusable very soon. It would not stay on and continued to restart and get hot. The price difference for a screen replacement from this place was $260 compared to $315 at the Apple Store but if this happens to your phone it will void the warranty and you'll be out of a phone and need to spend way more to get a new one. Do not go here. Period. He also tried to get me to pay in just cash and when I came back and said I could only do card he magically was able to run the card at that point. I assume to not have a receipt print out. He sat there and kept saying "there's no problem it's fine" as if my phone didn't have a problem, just trying to get me to leave read more

Awful awful experience, don't believe anything this dude tells you at the counter. I had a cracked screen and needed it replaced so I went here because they were recommended by a friend, even though it was a little far from me. Day 1 I chat with the man at the booth who tells me that he has to order the screen, but no problem it comes tomorrow and I could just show up at around 3pm tomorrow and they'll take care of it. I pre-pay and go on my way. Day 2, I show up around 4pm, wanting to give them some extra time for a potential late shipment. The guy at the counter just sorta shrugs and says oh, ya it's not here. Sorry. Maybe tomorrow. now this is a 45 minute drive each way for me, so I'm not super thrilled. A simple call, or text would have saved me 1.5 hours of driving and a lot of headaches, but that would apparently be too much effort for this guy. Day 3, I wait a few days, wanting to give them the most time possible to receive the shipment. I show up at the time they open and the guy just looks at me, shrugs, and says "oh ya sorry our tech isn't here today. come back tonight maybe. Again, no call, no message, no service, just 1.5 hours of my time, gas, and headache. Day 4, I am finally able to get my phone fixed. This was a full week of nonsense, 6 hours of total drive time, traffic, gas, going to a mall etc. I could have bought a new phone for this much headache. These guys are absolutely terrible, cannot recommend. read more

Questionable business practices. Wasn't going to honor the warranty after 2 weeks and the new screen failed. They backpedaled after I complained and spoke to the mall about the issue read more

Sure it was cheap. It wasn't very quick, not was it high quality. The sceen they put on my 14 max failed quickly, it wouldn't touch the right things and the colors were off. Plus after the repair my battery died super quick. Had to have it fixed elsewhere, went to Cellairis and had an amazing experience. Don't waste your time here. read more

The screen repair is terrible. The colors are off, and the screen no longer sits flush with the case. Its not waterproof anymore. Waist of my money. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The two men working here were extremely rude. I went in to get my screen fixed, and they ended up breaking the Face ID feature. They tried to blame me for breaking it before I came in to see them initially yet it was working perfectly before. Rude and poor service. Go next door to get your phone fixed and save your time and energy and money. read more

DONT GO HERE. I asked them to replace my iphone 12 battery and my phone wouldn't charge. it was at one percent and the battery that they had tried replacing mine with wasn't even apple. Very bad. And they were rude too. On my way to verizon right now. read more

Needed a simple issue fixed. Sim card tray cover broke off leaving me without a way to remove the sim card. They two nice guys working there pulled the tray out with ease. They even showed me where to get a replacement tray without the need to send the phone in for repair. I have the new part and I am thrilled with the attentive and reasonable cost of the service. read more

If you have an iPhone 5, they'll fix it in less than 30 minutes. If you bring a novel phone such as a Google Pixel, they'll fix it for you after two weeks (They don't stock parts) and this more than you can say about their neighbors who won't even try. Their owner himself was really bad at communicating with me on delivery date (It took an extra week than promised on the Pixel) The owner seems to have some sort of attitude when he's busy... However if they mess up by not delivering on what they promised, his attitude will improve drastically. I must admit that their commitment to go through with fixing a phone they don't have experience with (And it ended up not being properly closed and with some scratches) is admirable and had it not been for the lack of communication I would have given them a 4th star. read more

Horrible horrible we got screamed at to leave because the person fixed the lense on my camera for my iPhone didn't fix the problem. He realized that wasn't the problem and didn't let us know and we paid 50 and still have the same problem. Not professional at all. He couldve told us the camera is scratched so replacing the screen won't fix the problem. Instead they are so about the money he didn't care. So left 50 bucks broker and phone is in same condition. Then wanted to charge us an extra 20 to put another one back on and we refused to. He started screaming at us to leave and plain rude with his hand gestures . We are very calm people and it takes a lot to get us upset. No one wants to leave feeling scammed. Avoid this place there's another phone repair place next to them that is so much better. They are about their customers and telling the truth not this place. Avoid if you don't want a continuous problem as you can tell I'm not the only one with this kind of review. I'm surprised they are still up and running must be from all the money they are taking from innocent customers thinking they are getting their electronics fixed. read more

DONT GO HERE ‼‼‼‼Went here today around 3:30 to fix my iPhone 11 Pro Max and now my phone is showing a message that they used a part that isn't genuine and the screen looks like it's stuck in night mode with like a yellow film. also my camera was cracked and he didn't actually fix the camera he just put a whole new screen on top of it so now my camera still doesn't work and the screen pops out so much it's clearly an after market screen and I paid $170 for that. No wonder he started acting standoffish after he handed me the phone back but I have anxiety so I didn't realize any of this until after I had left. calling my bank tomorrow to report it as fraud. read more

Don't buy anything here!!! Horrible quality with In 12 hours the paint came off in bubbles In Paint on my $40 cause I came back immediately to get a refund and told since it's not in factory condition I can't exchange or get a refund. We spoke to the manager and he laughed in my face because he thought it was funny he agreed with me that it was a manufactures defect but there is nothing he can do and just laughed at me never never never buy anything from here. UPDATE: After months of calling and never hearing back I'm still out my $40 they stole from me. This is a horrible place you call the main line it seems legit at first then every line you try you get the same girl and the guy won't call you back and he is never available to talk. read more

Got a few quotes to fix my 6 plus screen. Walked up to the mall kiosk and got a quote for $100 less than I was expecting and said it could be done in 20 min. DO NOT GET UR PHONE FIXED THEY WILL BREAK IT EVEN MORE JUST TO KEEP YOUR $$$$$. Had to come get it fixed three times. Dude w the red hat working on 3/20/22 Refused to give me a receipt or proof that shows he opened up my phone so that the screen will lift and glitch again and i'll have to pay once again. I said not giving me a receipt was stupid and he replied with "you are". He also tried blaming the lifting on me as if phone screens just lift up?? Even if I had dropped my phone who does it lift up?? He's an idiot w no brain cells fr Never returning again and I'm letting everyone know to not come here bc they have no idea what they're doing and the foo was rude. One of the worst costumer Serivce. I brought my iPhone to fix my screen, and they gave me a screen that kept freezing my iPhone. Seemed like a bootleg version iPhone screen. I was headed to Apple today to see how quickly I could get my completely shattered iPhone 6S screen replaced because online they didn't have any appointments for 2 days.... walking there I noticed this kiosk and was quoted a price significantly lower than Apple and only 15 Minutes For it to be done!!!! FIFTEEN MINUTES! Can't beat that timing. Employee was so so nice. I wish I would have got his name to leave a review specially About him but I forgot. I recommend this place to anyone needing phone screen replacements. Wonderful customer service. Great pricing and can't beat how quick this was done. Thank you guys so much. I wasn't able to use my phone because the glass was so shattered it was cutting my finger so now that I'm back I service I am so so so happy. Thanks for making my day :) read more

I took my daughter's cracked screen iPhone 6 in for a screen repair after having an iPhone 4 fixed here before. Again friendly guys at counter with great prices and fix speed. Really poor service. They only consider easy money. I stop by today and try to fix my iPhone 5 with power key. They only say no, we don't have parts then walk away. Walk away. That's really amazing. Talk N Fix - Raised screen - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Flashback to July: iPhone 5 home button fell off. Everything was still functional so I just kept keeping on. Fast forward to Monday Oct. 6: Home button stops working completely and all I can do is text. No apps! No photos! My life was incomplete. On Thursday Oct. 9, I went to Talk N Fix at the recommendation of a colleague. THANK THE GREAT HEAVENS I DID. The tattooed tech (+1!) was friendly and chill, had both a white home button and flex for the repair. $49 and only 20-25 mins wait - yes please. While I was off buying flowers for my hair at Claire's and eating snacks from eBar, he got the job done. Don't allow yourself to suffer from FOMO. Find the TNF kiosk and get yourself squared away. read more

I went to the Apple store for a screen replacement for my iPhone and their price was $150. So I left and i came here and the guy said the replacement cost was $70, that's a huge price difference. Needed a glass replaced on a Galaxy s4. Dropped it off at 2pm on Sunday with the statement that it will be ready Monday morning. I said I'd be by before lunch. I was there before 10am, the time at which the mall and the kiosks open. Kid shows up, takes down the kiosk curtain, then disappears for 30 minutes, leaving me and at least one other customer to stand and wait, with some colorful commentary regarding their "Back in ten minutes" sign. Kid finally returns from his lunch, tries to call the manager. Received a promise that the phone would be back by 11am. (They take some of the phones to work on overnight). 1. Phone was returned without the cover. Luckily, it was just the OEM one that was included in the bundle with the phone. 2. Glass was not properly seated and sealed on one side. read more

To say I'm disappointed and frustrated is a Huge understatement. First, the way they fix the screen results in many of the phones features no longer working as they don't use manufacturer parts. Second, I had to take the phone back the next day to have them look at it. After 2 months, the screen basically became unusable and they wanted me to pay again to fix it. I feel like I was scammed from the beginning. Avoid throwing your money away at this place. read more

New screen was ok, but screen protector wasnt. When back for a replacement within the 7day return period and was denied. the kid was Mexican with a cross tattoo on his hand who didn't want to replace the dumb screen protector. Jamal the other employee was pretty cool. He charged 80$ for an Iphone 6s plus screen replacement and sold us the screen protector. however should have bought my screen protector at Dollar Tree. It started peeling immediately. read more

I spilled water on my laptop on Friday the 13th about 6 months ago. Right away, I went to Target to grab some rice. The man at target recommended that I go see Christian at Talk N Fix. I went to him immediately and he dried the inside of my laptop free of charge. Six months later, my laptop works perfectly. I would go back to this place if (god forbid) that ever happened again. The only reason I give 4 stars is because he was a huge jerk to his employees RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. He was yelling and name-calling and swearing right in the middle of the mall. You can expect him to get the job done.. just don't expect the guy to be Mr. Rogers because he is definitely not! haha read more

Miguel is a SCAM artist. Do not go here! We dropped an iPad off with a broken screen on Saturday night, being told it would be done in an hour and the repair would be $100. After coming back an hour and a half later, the iPad would not turn on at all - the screen replacement was done without him ever advising something else needed replaced, and Miguel advised it would be done Sunday and to come back. I came back on Sunday, only to be advised he had to order a new part (meaning it was damaged after he had "done the work" Saturday) and it would be in on Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday, Miguel advised me the part should be in today, and a few hours later told my wife that the part would be in on Wednesday, and that the damage was his fault and it happened during the repair. That makes *three* seperate conversations after he ordered the part, where he failed to mention he would now be trying to charge more for the repair. When I went to pick up the iPad, he tried charging me $180 - after ordering a part, and installing without ever advising us the cost. After he called me a bastard and a cheat because I advised him I wouldn't be paying more than the $100 we had agreed upon, we finally made payment and I get home with the iPad, the screen is lifting already and the touchID on the home button does not work. Seriously, please don't go here and make the mistake I did. read more

I called in earlier today asking how long it would take to fix my iPhone 5C's broken screen and he said 15 minutes, part in stock. GREAT! They are just bad. I went there FOUR times asking to fix the rear camera for my iPhone 5 and I still haven't fixed it yet. First time I went there they told me they were out of iPhone 5 cameras and told me to come back next week. Then the next week I went there again they were still out of cameras. So I left and went back there the third time. They guy told me they couldn't fix it "today" and asked me to come back "tomorrow" (which is today). So today I give them the last chance. They are not surprisingly out of stock again. I asked them why are you always out of stock. He (not the owner) said I don't know, ask the owner. Fine. I have been never so disappointed with someone before. It's been a month now and I could've just gone to Apple store and spend a little more for a replacement and get things done instead of wasting four round trips to washington square just to fix the damn phone. :( read more

Awful service and doesn't hold their guarantee. Gave me a piece a crap that is not compatible with my phone, ended up breaking and now they will not replace. Crappy service. A gentleman man with tattoos on his face and neck assisted me and was extremely rude, this is honestly the WORST customer service i have had EVER. He wouldnt even look at me and was playing with his phone and playing cards and went as far as to laugh at me and say "Im sorry you feel that way". This is CERTAINLY not good customer service. read more

Absolute worst customer service! If you pay to get your screen fixed here, I'm sure you believe they will standby their *receipt stamped* policy of a 90 day guarantee? Well - Don't believe the lies. This is not the case as this "store" chooses instead to charge you more money even when the existing issues are due to their own poor workmanship. Such a scam and waste of money. I've been here 3 times and this will be my last. This time will seriously be my last. They don't care about their customers AT ALL THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. It's amazing how a customer has to stand in front of this big ass guy who was talking to himself to catch his attention which took a while considering I was like right in front of him. Doesn't care at all. And no effort in helping. Can't believe this place even is in business read more

Bad experience. I had my screen replaced and noticed a hairline crack in the new display after leaving the mall. I wasn't terribly worried about it because I plan to purchase the iPhone 6s in sept/oct. A few days later the crack continued to spread throughout the glass. I brought my phone back to the kiosk and they refused to honor the repair warranty. I didn't drop the phone or physically damage it. It's either a faulty display or a bad installation. For my initial repair I planned to go to the Apple Store but it was slightly more expensive and had a longer wait. However, lesson learned as I'm now back to square one and out $100. read more

This place was recommended to me by brother, and so I went there to have my iPhone 7 screen replaced. I was charged close to $100 dollars, I think a little more. The place was a little sketchy, they didn't have me sign anything beforehand. The replacement screen was buggy, sometimes areas of it wouldn't work unless I turned my phone off and on again. The screen wasn't very bright either, and had a blueish tint. I later had my screen break again, this time replacing it at Cellairis, which was just a few yards away. The screen is much better in quality, and $85. I'd definitely recommend it over talk and fix. read more
