Behind their stall on the other end of the Apple Store, Cellaris, is a great repair shop. They (Jessica) was able to fix the plastic protector for my camera lens for $10, which was far less than I expected. So, it all worked well in balance, but I do not recommend Zagg.

My phone has a loose speaker grill and the front glass of my phone needs to be replaced, as it is so scratched that the selfie camera is unusable. First off, despite being the only customer in the store, I had to wait ~5 minutes before the clerk came out of the back room. When he finally appeared I asked about the needed repairs, and the clerk said, "Sure I can do that." Then he told me that all he could do for the speaker was squirt some superglue up into the speaker port/grille and that it "might fix the issue but usually doesn't and blocks the speaker. But that's the only thing I can do about that." So the "Sure I can do that" was just a lie. That isn't a repair, that is squirting superglue and hoping for the best. Luckily I managed to stop him before he did it without verifying that I actually wanted him to do it. He quite literally was already reaching for the glue until I said "Well, then I absolutely don't want you to do that." THEN the clerk proceeded to pull out a screen protector box, and began opening it. When I saw him get the screen protector out, I asked him, "Is that a screen protector? Because I actually need the front glass replaced." He didn't stop what he was doing, continued applying the screen protector, and just said, "That's not worth it." Despite the fact that I already explained to him that I had a VERY specific reason for requesting that the glass of the phone itself be replaced. I never requested that he apply a screen protector, in fact I tried to stop him from applying it. He didn't even ask me about the type of screen protector, and installed a matte one. Even if I wanted a screen protector, I never would have selected a matte one, nor would I have applied it on an already heavily damaged screen. And, obviously, the screen protector over the top of the scratched glass does nothing to fix the selfie camera issue. He also installed it without the typical application tool, so the screen protector was misaligned. Frankly it really felt like the clerk simply wasn't interested in doing any actual repair work, and just wanted me to leave so he could go into the back room and chill there again. He was doing anything "repair" he could, as fast as he could, so that he had an excuse to charge me for it, even though he failed to do anything I asked.

Here is why... 1 The head tech has been repairing phones and computers for over 10 years. He is completely certified electronic repair tech. 2. They have the best prices in town. 3. they are no nonsense guys. NOT RUDE!! JUST VERY BLUNT AND TO THE POINT... You can read all these reviews and say "I'm Not going to this place" but you need to understand the real reasons for these reviews.. You will find a lot about how they don't honor their warranty. I will tell you right now, that is a load of crap!! They do honor it! However here are a few reasons why people think they don't.. 1. If you drop your phone and there is even a little chip on the glass or the lcd is broken they will not warranty that. Reason is, they have to be able to return that screen. If it has 'ANY' marks at all they company that they get the parts from will not let them return it.. So, I know it sucks but you have to understand its a business they can't just give you a screen for free. why should they have to pay for you breaking your phone ? 2. {THIS IS A BIG ONE} "IF YOUR PHONE IS BENT" AT ALL THE SCREEN WILL START TO SEPARATE!! This is where taking better care of the stuff you own comes into play. I see people all the time yelling at these guys about this. I don't usually review places unless I have had superior service. Talk n fix is amazing. Several months ago my son dropped my iPad 3 face down in Fred meyer, shattering the glass on impact. Thinking I could save some money, I ordered a repair kit and tried to DIY it. That turned out ok, until the glass shattered under my hand at the slightest pressure a few days later. I put it away until I could find a good place to take it to to have the glass replaced. I find talk n fix. The customer service is superb. I walked in and was immediately greeted. I showed the iPad to the technician and he explained the repair/replacement. his name is Eric or Eri i didn't remebmer, he told me how he would manage the dinged corners to make the glass sit better upon replacement. Then he told me it would be ready in 40 minutes what was incredible! When I returned in 45 minutes to pick it up, it looked brand new. I paid and he reminded me that I have a warranty should anything happen. My iPad is now usable again and looks beautiful. The repair and the service were impeccable. I am so glad I waited to have it repaired by talk n fix. I'll definitely be doing business there again for any other Apple products. Thank you Eric for superior service. read more

Went there because something was blocking my front facing camera. When i walked up The "manager" Christian was grabbing some girls (with WAY too much bad makeup ) butt with one hand and playing on his laptop with the other. When i told him what the problem was he stuck some tool in the front of my phone between the screen and the phone and scratched the shit out of my screen and camera. He gave it back and tried charging me like nothing happened. When i brought the scratches to his attention he laughed at me and said tough shit then his gf or whoever it was started laughing. Very un profesional. I left without paying because that was bullshit. Made it so much worse. should have read these reviews before i came here. BEWARE! DO NOT COME HERE!! WORST SERVICE EVER! Canaan is AMAZING! This was the best place to get your phone fixed! My daughters iphone had a cracked screen, I attempted to fix it myself and wasn't successful. I came across this place in the mall and had gotten a quote for $ 112 to replace the screen. Apple wanted $350! I was told they would check for software issues first, and if no software issues, they would check the screen itself and switch it out. I paid $130 upfront for the screen replacement and was told I would be refunded if it is a software issue. I was later told it was not a software issue. The repair took about an hour. I took the phone home only to find out that the touchscreen was only partially working. I could scroll, but after 30 seconds or so, the screen would freeze again. What I realized is that they never asked for the password so they could test the screen to make sure it was fully working. I called CPR and was told the screen is under warranty and I should bring it back in. I was also told that the component that controls the touchscreen could be damaged and in that case, there's not a way to replace that. I was a bit frustrated as this should have been explained to me when I first dropped off the phone. They were booked for the rest of the day and said they would have time the next day. The next morning, I made an appointment, took the phone in, and was helped immediately. About an hour and a half later, I had the phone back. I checked to ensure it was working before I left and it appeared the touchscreen was fully working. I was again told that if the screen isn't working, to bring it back in and they would take another look at it. Overall, my experience was pretty positive. My only constructive feedback is that they should fully explain things before the service/repairs start.

This was supposedly to fix the back glass and screen that had broken after tripping with my phone in my hand. Had I been there myself, I probably would've laughed on my way out the door, as at this point my 2 year old iPhone could probably be replaced for that much or less. But unfortunately I had no phone, and so she made the decision to move forward with this transaction. They told me they would overnight the parts and hopefully have the phone fixed by early the following week. Tuesday the following week they called to inform me that the antenna had been damaged and they were unsure of whether or not they could fix the phone, but that they'd get back to me within a couple of days when they had more information. After not receiving a call, I decided to call myself that Friday to figure out what they were doing with my phone and $370 for the past week. I was told that the phone was being sent to a micro-soldering technician to have the antenna repaired and that the phone would hopefully be ready by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Once again, Tues and Weds came and went, and I heard nothing from CPR about the status of my phone. On that Thursday, roughly 2 weeks after coughing up $370 and my phone, I called again and was transferred to the owner of the business. Aj, the owner, basically gave me an ultimatum by saying I could either wait an indeterminate amount of time for them to try and track down the parts required to fix the phone, in addition to actually fixing it. Or, I could come pick the phone up and have the "majority" of my money refunded - which turned out to be $200, or about 59% of the $370 I paid up front. This business charged me $170 to lie, mislead, and miscommunicate what was actually being done with my phone and my money. They literally handed me back my phone in the same condition it was in 2 weeks before I brought it in, charged me $170, and apologized for their incredibly poor communication throughout the process. Zero consideration for the time and money I lost tying up my $370 and having no phone for the 2 weeks they had it. I'm now out $170, in addition to having to buy a new phone. If I could back charge this I absolutely would, and will likely contact my bank and whoever else I can to see what I can do to dispute this.

Come to find out it was not a genuine iphone screen, proven by a certified apple tech with the part number and a simple light test. We didn't give him the password which he wanted to test the device. We wanted instead to test the device in person when I picked it up and keep my passcode private. He used this as an excuse as to why the problems were arising. So many failures when I had the device back, most notably the camera. Still putting my trust in him I asked him to explain and he told me that the phone may have been damaged internally and this model was notoriously tricky for face ID and camera malfunctions and that I should ALSO pay him to fix the camera. Thankful I got a second opinion from an apple tech who let me watch him open the phone. *When the phone was opened there was still bits of glass scattered through it, the clips were bent and the camera was left unconnected* (see photos) it was obvious that this phone sustained too much damage to be repaired fully by a screen replacement but Kelani didn't tell me that, he hid it under a new aftermarket screen, charged me for a genuine screen and wanted to continue to milk me with the new camera replacement. When I talked to Kelani for the final time, I started out trying to be reasonable. I asked for my broken screen and my money back and that he could have this one back. He quickly began defending himself saying that he wouldn't refund me and that I should just take him to court. (I see it's a popular reply for him in his comment responses) He also told me that he didn't need people from "my side" and people "who look and talk like me" because he has plenty of good customers with people who love him. Needless to say I suggest you stay far away from this place, in case he decides that you're the customer he's going to scam.

I was really excited to call Device Doctors and get in touch with Ryan. I told him my issue, a…read moreChromebook which needed the screen replaced (my son broke it and it's his school computer.) I had the model number and all the information and Ryan was able to tell me the cost and how quick he could fix it for us. I said I was going to call around to get prices and repair time and he even suggested a few places, which I felt was very good business practice and made me feel comfortable. So I decided to use him for our repair and called him back to please place the order for the part. He definitely wasn't as friendly on my second call, but I just imagined he was busy. He said we could drop the laptop off anytime and so I asked my husband to do so since he was in the area that day. When he got to the address there was no "Device Doctors" he said there was a cell phone repair shop with that address. He went in and no one was there, which he thought was weird. Eventually was greeted by the cute pup in the photo and then finally Ryan. My husband said that he had very little customer service skills and didn't seem to even realize who he was (despite the fact that I said we would drop off the Chromebook and gave him all of my contact information over the phone,) when my husband said that I had spoken to Ryan. I didn't think anything of it as I thought he was very kind on my initial call. He told us the laptop would be finished on Tuesday (we dropped it off on Friday,) and it was. For some strange reason my voicemail didn't show until the next day. We were able to get a loaner from the school so it wasn't urgent for us to pick it back up. We did however, need to get an invoice for the repair as it was a warranty that we were using to get the repair done. My husband went back on Wednesday and he said no one was there. I tried calling multiple times and just got the voice mail. I finally got a hold of Ryan on Thursday and confirmed the hours and my husband was able to swing by again since he was in the area, and pick it up. However, we didn't get a repair invoice, we only got a Square receipt with the total. Since our warranty plan required a detailed invoice, I called 6 or 7 times trying to get a hold of someone and when I finally got a hold of Ryan on Friday he said he could email me an invoice if I would just text him the information. I did so, and at the end of the day on Friday I still had nothing. At the end of the day on Saturday again, no invoice. By Monday, I tried calling again multiple times and couldn't get a hold of him. I finally text and said that we needed the invoice to be able to submit our claim. And again, provided the details. Let me say this - if you're looking for customer service and you need that more than you need the repair, this isn't your spot. BUT if you need the repair you've been guaranteed for the price you've been quoted, this is it 100%. If I didn't need the detailed invoice, Ryan would have gotten 5 stars, for delivering what I asked for when he promised it. BUT it was a HUGE hassle trying to get a simple invoice to submit my warranty claim. That ran down the stars to a 3 star since it became more hassle than it was worth. We could have used a different shop, waited longer but gotten less hassle in the customer service area. I was disappointed, but I would go here for non-warranty work that I don't need within a specific time frame. He just lacked the customer service and follow up that I needed for my repair.
