Some states may require tax on the shipping charge. This fee covers the costs of storing, processing, packaging, and safely shipping the replacement to you." Bait & switch. I was quoted $49.99 to replace my iPhone screen protector and when I went to pay it the price was jacked up to $69.99! I was told the girl who told me that price was new, and I replied that it didn't matter. After much verbiage I decided that the fight against the extra $ wasn't with the increase in my blood pressure. The app to register my warranty was a scam that was mining me for information and trying to sell me car insurance, etc. I deleted it. I won't go back in any case. Behind their stall on the other end of the Apple Store, Cellaris, is a great repair shop. They (Jessica) was able to fix the plastic protector for my camera lens for $10, which was far less than I expected. So, it all worked well in balance, but I do not recommend Zagg. read more

I figured maybe this one was defective, so I went back for a replacement, I had to pay $10 , so i've now paid $50 for a phone screen protector. Literally has a new crack in it within hours. Hello, I am very disappointed in my recent visit with an employee. His name was Peyton I believe. This kid is not fit at all and was too occupied on his phone instead of helping me. He told me that my phone did not have that big of a crack and that it's not needing to be fixed. I insisted that it needs to be fixed but he denied. I purchased the film (not rigid) cover because I thought it would be better than a rigid protector. Boy, was I wrong. It took about eight months before it had peeled entirely off. I went back to get it replaced under the "lifetime warranty". They told me I needed the "deluxe" (more expensive model) and charged me the difference plus the replacement fee for $50. Guess what? The lifetime warranty just means that they get to charge you to replace their peeling cover, over and over. I am on my third one now, which was actually starting to come off around the edges before I had even got it home. Six months later, and it has crud creeping in under the edges of the film and it's only a matter of time before it comes off again. I will never pay these people for another screen cover. read more

Unbeknownst to her, I have watched her step out of policy to help someone based on excuses that I was not willing to give. I merely shared with her that the screen that she put on, on the 21st Of December and I'm here on January 1 already has bubbling and has had it for multiple days. I'm a very busy person and unfortunately I wasn't able to make it in to have them replace my little $10 screen for free. I went in today and the tall African American was extremely confrontational and very rude not willing to work with me cause I didn't bring a receipt. I asked if he could look it up or if I could show my bank statement. He was dismissive and told me to pay $10 or have a nice day. I've used Zagg for years. I'll go two stars on this kiosk only because I believe the poor guy working there was (1) overwhelmed and (2) undertrained but trying his level best. I watched two people give up and leave because he was slower than molasses in January. He gave up on his first attempt at my Apple Watch and tore off the first new screen protector (which he had up-sold me to the tune of $38). Starting over, he spent 25 minutes trying to get the bubbles out of the 2nd screen protector, once leaving the kiosk entirely with no explanation, and coming back 5 minutes later with a wet paper towel he then used to rub on the watch face, and finally handing it to me and telling me it was the best he could do but I could bring it back if I wasn't happy. I wasn't happy. I went to lunch, kept looking at the bubbly thing with a lower right corner bent up and opaque, and went back for trial #3. This time, bless him, he got it right. Perfect fit. All of this stuff happened while other customers stood behind me waiting. I kept apologizing to them. HE should have been apologizing to them or at least explaining the delay. In fairness, Ive been satisfied with their products over the years. I'm sure the life span for employment at this place is short. I've never seen the same person there twice. She was an absolute sweet heart and was super accommodating. She was very engaging and made me feel valued since she was interested in what was happening in my life.
