They implied Newberg had the phones I needed, so I made the appointment and drove there expecting a straightforward pickup and activation. An "appointment" here is not a real appointment. It is only a notice that you are present. There is no priority and no expectation you will be helped anywhere near your scheduled time. I checked in on time and waited over **one hour and fifteen minutes**. At 1:16 pm I was told the technical issue they were handling might be resolved "before the end of the day." Then at 1:28 pm, after all that waiting, staff finally checked and realized the phones available were **128 GB**, not the higher storage needed. The correct model is on backorder with **no ETA**. This was only discovered after the extended wait. At that point it was clear the drive, the appointment, and the time spent waiting were all wasted. While staff were polite, the appointment system, inventory verification, and coordination between stores are fundamentally broken. If Verizon does not intend appointments to function as actual service times, that needs to be made very clear up front.
