He found the battery for my car in stock AND they install it for $20. I asked how long it would take and he said between 15-25 minutes and then to my surprise HE went from behind the counter, went to the back to get the battery and went out to the parking lot to install it! He ended up changing it out in about 15 minutes and was friendly and knowledgable the whole time. Super efficient, and the place was pretty busy. Wish I had gotten his name but I didn't see any of the empoyees wearing nametags and if I worked retail I wouldn't want randos knowing my name either haha. Anyway, I highly recommend this store for all of your battery needs!

Do not take alternators here to be tested. They are liars…read more August 2024, I brought in a good alternator in and they said the alternator was bad because they wanted to make a sell. This 1st alternator they sold me did not work as well. I exchanged the 1st one for a 2nd alternator, and the 2nd alternator did not work either. I then exchange the 2nd alternator for a 3rd alternator, which in truth was the 1st alternator I had just exchanged and again did this one not work. I could tell they were just swapping the same alternators each exchange at the store. So, I traced the wiring in the car and found a wire that was disconnected from the starter. After fixing this the 3rd (which was also the 1st) alternator worked. This meant that my original alternator was good and they lied to me. This new alternator squeals when I start the car. But I am so tired of dealing with liars. I will never buy from O'Reilly again.

But I also have a number of vehicles and found that their car and especially their motorcycle batteries didn't have the CCA stats I needed. Started looking around for another supplier a few years ago and came across this place. This in a husband and wife business. The husband works at the store over by Raleigh Hills. He is a Military veteran and then some. Great prices, very good customer service and the place is well stocked. They offer a Veteran discount if you show your ID. The wife is "the brains" of the operation. That is to say that she knows a lot about electricity and as a BSEE with 50 years in the biz when I ask her a question she responds as someone who really knows what she's talking about. Everything she's ever recommended has worked out perfectly for me and I really appreciate that. I don't shop at this store nearly as often as their other branch but this store is right across from Costco. And since they are open 7 days a week, if I am at Costco and need something electricity related, I'll stop in here. Both stores are similarly stocked regarding inventory. The staff here is also great. They get you in and out the door with a great price and a smile quickly. I might be able to save a few pennies buying at one of the box stores but I greatly value local businesses and do my best to support them when ever I can. They will R&R your battery and will even install car batteries while you wait. I've never asked them to install my motorcycle batteries but I suppose they might.

They refuse to take responsibility, but I literally just detailed the car the day before and the paint was PERFECT. I hadn't even taken it out of the garage until I took it to interstate. Make sure to watch them install your battery if you bring a car in there that you care about. You can very clearly see how nice my paint is but hairline scratches right where he stood to replace the battery. It might be nothing to the manager, but it's something to me. The sales person, Morgan was actually completely wowed by my car. Looks like I have some buffing to do. Edit: The company response is a lie. They never, NEVER offered any semblance of help. Just the opposite. The manager just kept repeating the lie that he couldn't possibly have scratched the car, again and again while ignoring me. He dismissed me at every turn, repeatedly. I'm even more disappointed now! I never even wanted anything from him, only wanted him to be more careful with customer's cars. Owning mainly British cars, I often have needs to rebuild generators, starters, voltage regulators and about anything else electric. And even to buy lots of batteries!. Sadly, I will just have to keep looking!! Like the other review, Rex was always very pleasant and honest-sounding and really took time to speak with customers on the phone. Which I also found out when I was at his counter! I had agreed to pay $80 for the rebuild of my MG starter. I told him no rush in order for him to finish with other more pressing customers. I waited the week and phoned back on Friday as he had instructed and he told me that he had not yet looked at it and to call back on Monday. Well, especially since I had not rushed him it would have been nice to know the status when he told me to call before the week-end so that I could get another starter if necessary for the week-end replacement. Anyway, later the next week, he told me to come get the starter. it turns out that during the final checks something went wrong that he could not fix. So he hands me the parts - unassembled - in a box and says "That will be $80". I pointed out that $80 was for the REPAIR not merely the disassembly. Now I realize that things go wrong even after some work has been done and require additional work/cost, but without foreknowledge and $80 poorer, I still had nothing. To top it off, I had taken in another unit which he could use for parts, and it was disassembled with the parts just thrown in the box too! Rex was kind enough to tell me that there was a place in Arizona that I could ship the pieces to and for $135 ADDITIONAL they MIGHT be able to fix it. I asked him why would I do that and he said: "Because I looked these up online and they cost a couple hundred dollars". Well, I did not need to BUY a rebuilt starter when I already owned a rebuildable one and merely wanted to get it repaired! Especially when the cost for an aftermarket starter is $90!! So I now have a bunch of parts sitting in a box which I would have trouble shipping even if I were so inspired as to want to do so. I have learned that in the future I will go to another shop for rebuilds. Maybe even one which will provide a working product for the amount specified.
