I recently wrecked my civic, and my insurance company recommended this paint and auto body location as a preferred vendor. Having an accident (especially when you are at fault :( ) is such a stressful experience however the service team was sooo kind and supportive to me, even asking me when I arrived with the tow truck, whether I was ok and reminding me that "cars are replaceable people are not." Unfortunately, I have visited this body shop over the past couple decades due to minor and not so minor damages. I first visited them for my BMW because the nearby dealership referred me to them. My car was barely a few months old when I was rear ended. The body shop partnered with the insurance adjuster and made sure my car looked as good as new. Very importantly, it did not take more than a day for the paint to dry because of their indoor facility. They had repaired my car a couple more times since then. Years later, I went to them several times for my Infiniti. As they had done before, they worked with my insurance company to make sure my car was fixed properly. More recently, my Audi had some bumper damage. Because the estimate was barely over the deductible, I decided to pay directly rather than involve the insurance company. As expected, they did a fantastic job erasing the damage. They have done a great job fixing my German and Japanese luxury cars. If I ever own a luxury American car, I will definitely not hesitate taking it to them. read more

This is a hard review to write, because I like Derrick and his staff. They've done allot of work for me. Where we went south is when I asked him if he was interested in painting my 1969 Chevelle. The car had a vinyl top, and like so many cars from that era had rust underneath the top. The body itself was good and straight. We discussed my options and I agreed to his price of $15K. $15K is not a CHEAP paint job. Sure, you can pay $25K, but I have to think whatever the agreed upon price, you're going to get the best service and quality work possible? We decided to remove the vinyl top, and paint the roof the factory color of the LeMans Blue. First...the car was painted the wrong color. They fixed the problem, and I picked up the car and thought the paint looked pretty good. About a month later I noticed there was overspray on one side of the car. Brought it back and they fixed it. My question, how could it leave the shop that way in the first place? I also paid an additional $750.00 to have them repaint an area which I thought should have been painted in the first place. Also, because we changed from a vinyl top to a hard top, there were pillars on both sides when the doors are open which were left jagged and unfinished. I had this repaired somewhere else, as well as areas repainted which I thought was part of the quoted price. The reason for the review is the paint job is less than two years old, and I have begun to see "fish eyes," bubbles, debris under the paint and general imperfections in this paint job which in my opinion...should simply not be occurring so soon. I emailed Derick asking if he would take another look at the car to see what he thought, and I received no response. Yes, I'm very particular. This being said, $15K is $15K. Real review. Real customer. I literally just left from their shop roughly around noon today (8/23/19). I was involved in a minor accident which needed minor repairs. Though I was instructed to meet with Derrick, Mr. Buddy is who greeted me and politely went over some brief details as Derrick came out. Because my insurance was involved it seemed pretty simple of the tasks and the earliest date to pick up. Fast forward, my vehicle would be with them for roughly 5 business days, though they'd try to get it to me within 4, but estimated 5. No biggie. Today I picked up my vehicle. Everything looked really nice. The repairs discussed were done and wash (my wheels were SHINING like fresh lipgloss on a lip). Mr. Buddy was there to handle my last bit of payment and paperwork (which was really nothing). Again, politely shared some insight to what was done, escorted me around my vehicle to check it out, thanked me for my business. Verbatim response to him was "this is review worthy." So...I'm doing just that. Sharing my honest review. As you would with any machanic, check your vehicle out before leaving and stay honest. I feel based on my experience today, that if I needed to return they'd welcome my business and see me as a hardworking individual rather than dollar signs like many other places. I appreciated them sticking to their quoted deadline and for being kind throughout the process. My interactions were only with Buddy and Derrick. I recommend them both. #HonestReview read more

Repaired my vehicle after collision. Extensive repairs but it runs like new and looks great! Buddy and Shane were friendly and consistently gave clear communication and even delivered my vehicle once it was ready so I didn't have to leave work. I recently had to have some auto body repair done. I was referred to Concourse Paint and Body by a friend that is very much a "car guy". They did not disappoint. My vehicle was new and had damage from me trying to get into the garage (I clipped the corner of the house pretty bad) during the hail storm parts of DFW experienced in late April 2021. As Buddy said, "It's a shame that this happened, but we will make it as good as new.". No truer words were spoken. Additionally, they stand behind their work. The vehicle kept sending a code that there was trouble with the keyless entry. Concourse had cleared it, but it came on again when we got the vehicle home. They said to take it to the dealer and if there were any cost they would cover it since they stand behind their work. The problem turned out to be a disconnected sensor that was missed. Unfortunately, their technician had not plugged it back in. It cost $145 for us to find this out. I sent an e-mail to Shane and in 3 days had a check covering the visit to the dealer. Much appreciated. If I have any other auto body repairs (and I'm sure I will with 3 young drivers in the mix) I'm headed to Concourse. Thank you to the crew. read more

PLEASE READ‼ Let me start by saying that this body shop is a complete joke Buddy who is the owner and his son Shane are complete crooks. Please look somewhere else for your needs otherwise, you will be going back and forth with Concours for damages done to your car that wasn't initially there. I had a very small, simple dent on my passenger back door which should have been very simple to fix. Well, it didn't exactly work out that way when I picked my car up from the body shop. I noticed right away that the job had been rushed, the rocker panel was loose about to fall off, they forgot to put the clamps back on to hold it in place. Then I had a deep scratch on my front passenger door which wasn't there when I initially dropped my car off. Buddy had the nerve to say I'm sorry for all of your trouble, I will get you a Chili's gift card for you and your family. I don't need a gift card I need you to properly fix my vehicle so, I called State Farm and expressed my frustration with Concours the agent said to me "let them fix what they have damaged, any new issues we will pay for them". I said no, I'd rather go somewhere else she said "give them a chance to fix the damages". So, I took my car to them a second time to repair the damages when I got my car back I had new scratches everywhere, the window trim look like it had been pushed up with a flat head. Buddy and his Son Shane must've been very upset when I reported the issues to State Farm and said I'm going to pay her back. They will try to swindle your insurance company out of whatever then can get, I guess they thought that I was going to say hey this is now wrong with my car and bring my car back for more repairs. Hell Naw I HOPE YOU ALL TAKE HEED TO WHAT IS BEING SAID, EVERYTHING IS 100% ACCURATE. read more

This place is first class. Buddy is honest, friendly and if he says it will be ready Tuesday you can bet that it will be ready Tuesday. They worked with my insurance company and I didn't have to do a thing. They even came and got my car, then brought it to my house after it was repaired. I've had two Mercedes in for repairs and both times the service was consistent, no problems, finished on time and they handled insurance. This place doesn't have a 5 out of 5 rating for nothing! These guys are so nice and friendly and they also get the job done well. Someone had come into my lane and clipped my front bumper. It was pulled forward and dented. They had it repaired quickly and my car looked like new. They took care of my car well after they made repairs, too. My license plate was dented by someone with a trailer hitch backing into it in my apartment complex. These guys reshaped it for me at no cost. I am picky. I was devastated when my nearly new Ultimate Driving Machine was hit by a large pickup. Miff and Derek took care of my car and made it better than new. I needed a Seibon Carbon-fiber spoiler painted that I added to my 2013 Camaro ZL1. After calling a few different body shops in the North Dallas area I found Concours Paint & Body. They were immediately understanding of my needs and asked to have me drop the part by for a review. They were happy to take the job and the work came out great, I am very happy with the price and results! There are a few body shops I would recommend, Berli's in Austin, Sewell Lexus in the Downtown area and now these guys in North Dallas. I used Concours in the 80's and currently had an extensive repair done on our Lexus 300H. This outfit was and is top drawer. Just changed insurance companies so went by to visit and make sure the current carrier worked with them. Buddy and Shane who run the operation visited with me which reminded me of the initial visit in the 80's. Son of the founder now owns Concours as his father has retired. Soon after the visit the Lexus was in an accident. I called Buddy from the crash scene and stated the wrecker was on it's way. From the time the vehicle was dropped off to the time I picked it up today the process was nothing but perfection to include the rental car process. Metallic Red Paint was matched to a T. Trust is the word that comes to mind as when the vehicle was dropped off I never gave it a second thought.
