Sent an estimate request to Tran's Auto Body through Yelp yesterday, got a competitive quote for a front spoiler (self provided) installation on my Honda within minutes, made an appointment for today during the lunch hour, went in and was done in about an hour. Brian was very friendly (and humorous!) and kept me informed to the status of the installation while I waited. The front spoiler looks great - professionally installed! I would definitely recommend Tran's Auto Body for future body work or exterior modification needs! read more

Mr Huu was very kind, polite, and reasonable. I think the tech with whom we worked was named Emerson. Regardless of his name, he was also very accommodating and friendly. He was also very professional. I really enjoyed this first experience with Tran's Auto Body, and I will definitely return if I need work done on a vehicle. read more

I had a unique issue with a function on my Lexus and wasn't sure where to turn for honest help before heading out of town. I figured an auto body shop might have the expertise since they regularly work on putting cars back together. After a quick Google search, I came across Tran's Auto Body and decided to give them a call. The owner answered, listened to my situation, and immediately suggested I stop by and ask for Brian, saying he'd help if he could. Wanting to avoid the hassle of a dealership, I took his advice and went in. Brian turned out to be incredibly kind and helpful. He took the time to look over the car right away, then suggested we go for a quick drive so he could better understand the issue. He even hooked up a diagnostic tool and quickly resolved the problem--all with a friendly attitude. The cost was very reasonable, and the overall experience was outstanding. It's a well-run, professional shop with genuinely nice people. They'll definitely be my go-to if I ever need help again. Five stars, easily! read more

Hi folks. No job too big or small at Tran's Auto Body. Yes, Texas roads are debris ridden, but this was a pick-up truck with loose wood scraps. Cue the slo-mo of a huge hunk of scrap wood flying out the bed of the truck, hitting the car behind it, traveling into the air, and into my bumper a dozen car lengths back. Knocked of the tow hook cover. I found my paint code, paint, and called up Tran's. They did the refresh on my 2012 Infiniti Convertible. I have every confidence this shop cares, and my part will be flossy n glossy. Take care, everyone. Hope you're living the bestest lives. read more

Great employees / owner. Great auto work. Never had a problem with the issue again after they repaired it. It was my car needing to be towed in because my alternator in my Fusion died and couldn't charge the battery. They fixed it quickly. Adam Campetti / Kennedale read more

My daughter is away at college and I get the dreaded text that she scraped up against a retaining wall and dented the passenger side of her car. My immediate reaction is to yelp body shops with awesome ratings, quick response, quality work, and competitive pricing. Tran's Auto Body checked all those boxes. The owner responded within minutes to my request for a quote, stuck to that quote, and delivered her car back in a timely fashion, looking like nothing had ever happened to it. So glad to have found Tran's Auto and would not hesitate to recommend this body shop to friends and family! read more

Exceptional service, explains in detail patiently before any work done! Very honest!!!!!!! Friendly and polite! Timely. Outstanding!!!!

Over priced. They also try to sell you on doing more than is necessary so they can take more time doing the work. Walked away when they gave me the quote. Of all the quotes I got this place was the worst and it was extremely over priced. read more

These guys do great work. I had a pretty bad dent with a pretty good crease right on the body line and pushed in where the rear bumper meets the driver side rear corner panel on a special edition no longer available decal for my 2014 Challenger. Repeat customer and same result.......excellent work and service. Repair was done so well that I doubted it was my car.....

I was looking for a body shop and a friend recommended Trans. I saw Trans had excellent ratings but what a disappointment. Took my 2023 Wagoneer when someone backed into my parked car and ran away. I told Trans I have 30 days rental coverage so I need it done in time. They assured me they were the best and I would be greatly pleased. Seems like they milked the whole 30 days before having me come back. When I went to pick it up, the work was bad. I might give it a pass if I was the 3rd owner on a 10 year old beat up daily driver but definitely not good work by any stretch of the imagination. Right side had massive amounts of orange peel, left side panel was floppy, middle section had dimples they claimed thats how the factory sent it. You would assume they would smooth out and block sand a factory part before painting. And dust nibs everywhere. Oh... and the car was dead. No power. I did my inspection and left them to make the necessary repairs. Round 2, they burned the edges while buffing out dust nibs and other blemishes. I had to point it out to them. No way the pro's missed it, maybe they were hoping I'd miss it. They did get a replacement battery from Napa. Don't know why they didn't just put the original battery on a charger. Round 3, Car has been repainted again. Looks better, but not perfect but I'm over it. Car is dead again. They killed the replacement Napa battery. The car is jumpstarted but the computers are not coming up properly. After a failed attempt to drive to the dealership I tell the shop to have it towed. I also let them know they have to cover the extra day of my rental car as they made my car inoperable. They said no, they had my car towed to the dealership and "washed their hands of the car". So after a thorough inspection by dealership it is determined this repair shop did not hook up a battery maintainer while working on the car with the doors open causing a very low voltage situation for the sensors to go haywire and failure of several computers on the vehicle. Some of the floppy body panels are fixed by replacing the missing clips. My insurance agent said he's seen this before. Low end repair shop not familiar with high end vehicles and will cause this situation which could have been avoided if they only put a battery maintainer while working on it. Insurance company also stated if Trans was an "in network shop" they would have forced them to pay for all the damage they caused. But Trans is NOT in State Farms network. On a plus note, my insurace company is awesome. They paid the extra 2 weeks for my rental car, and the dealership covered my rental for the several days while it was at the dealership being worked on. As for Trans, what a disappointment. They had an opportunity to make it right but "washed their hands" when they messed up. I would hope they learn from this. So if you have a keen eye or a high'er end car, stay away. They might wash their hands of your car once they damaged it too. After all this fiasco with Trans, I got rid of that car. If I kept it I would keep looking at the shoddy repair. read more

These guys are great fixed my car the week I was on vacation and said it would be done even quicker if I needed it.

Second time to visit Tran's for car repairs. A repeat customer tells you something. Excellent work, honest and timely.

Absolutely the best service and repair quality in my 50+ years as an auto enthusiast. I brought my 1964 Jaguar XKE to Tran's after a very negative experience with a supposed Jaguar "specialist". Huu and his assistant manager Matt agreed to finish the job at a very fair price. Everyone on the team including Matt, Leo, Larry, and the painter treated my collector quality Jaguar like the piece of automotive artwork that it is. Cheerful. courteous...artisans all. If there was a question as to how to proceed, Matt called me to discuss next steps (unlike the previous shop). The repair and paint (right rear) are truly stunning. All of the staff were a joy to work with...it's hard to believe a business like this exists these days. Old school for sure. Five stars +++++++. read more

UPDATED Feb/2020 REVIEW: New (to me) car, had some cosmetic stuff I wanted gone. The color was unusual and not often seen so I was not sure...but they did a FABULOUS JOB on my Kryptonite Green Metallic Benz GLA250. Reasonable prices and reasonable turnaround time. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. If you need them? GO! The owner was a great help when I smacked my Cube's bumper today. Said to come on in and though they were very busy? Helped reattach the splashguard for no charge! He gave an option to order brackets to fully redo the bumper but we aren't sure about doing that, as it looked okay as is. He did not charge for the work which was amazingly nice. Highly recommend this shop! read more

Hu, Brian, and team are amazing and they do FANTASTIC WORK! Someone hit me the day before the snow started and while it took a few days to get the car to them, they were able to start work within 2 weeks (all other quotes were 6-8+ weeks or a straight decline). I was worried that my car would never look the same (fan of Frankenstein movies, but not my car!). Not only did they exceed my expectations, they were always pleasant and understanding of all my concerns. I hope I never have to come back (no one wants that!) but if you need great service and to get your car back looking exactly like you want, look no further! I can't say enough great things about Trans's Auto Body! I dented my husband's Jeep while he was out of town. Minor damage, but enough to also require paint. I called Tran's to see if they could help me with the repair before he came home. I emailed them photos of the damage (as well as another dent that my husband caused.) They emailed be a quote for repair on all of the damage within 10 minutes. The price was much less than expected, and I dropped off the vehicle the next day. They completed the work in less than a week, and I had the vehicle back - looking brand new - just in time to pick up my husband from the airport. Of course I told my husband about the damage AFTER it was repaired. We all had a good laugh, and he thought their work was fantastic. Thanks Tran's Auto Body!! Tran's Auto Body was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed using their service so much that I had my second cars roof painted as well. Everyone at Tran's Auto Body was extremely professional, friendly and attentive. The price was by far the best, however they didn't skip out on the quality. I got into an accident... basically this FJ cruizer with a bumper guard passed 2 lanes and ran straight into my lane. My car was taken to Caliber Collision to get a quote and have it repaired. Unfortunately because my car had a salvage title & there were previous damage, they would not work on it. I was referred to Trans Auto Body (Huu Tran) via a facebook group. We fb messaged back and forth and I told him about my situation. First, It was great that he worked with Liberty mutual aka Safeco (the other party's insurance). Second, his team did a phenomenal job fixing my car!!! Huu was very honest and worked with me during the entire process. He told me that the people that fixed my car before did a terrible job and that he would be able to make it right. Lastly, after my car was repaired, there was a creaking noise in my dash (from the accident) that was really annoying. I bought it back to the shop and they were able to fix it! Bonus: he had my car washed every time I went to pick it up. A+++ For Customer Service and Job Well Done! read more

My passenger door wouldn't open. Took it to Toyota, they quoted me $1100 for parts and labor of a new locking mechanism. Tran's Auto was first to pop up on my google search, took it to them. I normally don't write reviews but I felt like I just had to because of the amazing service I received from this body shop. All of the staff were friendly and professional.
