Hi folks. No job too big or small at Tran's Auto Body. Yes, Texas roads are debris ridden, but this was a pick-up truck with loose wood scraps. Cue the slo-mo of a huge hunk of scrap wood flying out the bed of the truck, hitting the car behind it, traveling into the air, and into my bumper a dozen car lengths back. Knocked of the tow hook cover. I found my paint code, paint, and called up Tran's. They did the refresh on my 2012 Infiniti Convertible. I have every confidence this shop cares, and my part will be flossy n glossy. Take care, everyone. Hope you're living the bestest lives.

I was looking for a body shop and a friend recommended Trans. I saw Trans had excellent ratings but what a disappointment. Took my 2023 Wagoneer when someone backed into my parked car and ran away. I told Trans I have 30 days rental coverage so I need it done in time. They assured me they were the best and I would be greatly pleased. Seems like they milked the whole 30 days before having me come back. When I went to pick it up, the work was bad. I might give it a pass if I was the 3rd owner on a 10 year old beat up daily driver but definitely not good work by any stretch of the imagination. Right side had massive amounts of orange peel, left side panel was floppy, middle section had dimples they claimed thats how the factory sent it. You would assume they would smooth out and block sand a factory part before painting. And dust nibs everywhere. Oh... and the car was dead. No power. I did my inspection and left them to make the necessary repairs. Round 2, they burned the edges while buffing out dust nibs and other blemishes. I had to point it out to them. No way the pro's missed it, maybe they were hoping I'd miss it. They did get a replacement battery from Napa. Don't know why they didn't just put the original battery on a charger. Round 3, Car has been repainted again. Looks better, but not perfect but I'm over it. Car is dead again. They killed the replacement Napa battery. The car is jumpstarted but the computers are not coming up properly. After a failed attempt to drive to the dealership I tell the shop to have it towed. I also let them know they have to cover the extra day of my rental car as they made my car inoperable. They said no, they had my car towed to the dealership and "washed their hands of the car". So after a thorough inspection by dealership it is determined this repair shop did not hook up a battery maintainer while working on the car with the doors open causing a very low voltage situation for the sensors to go haywire and failure of several computers on the vehicle. Some of the floppy body panels are fixed by replacing the missing clips. My insurance agent said he's seen this before. Low end repair shop not familiar with high end vehicles and will cause this situation which could have been avoided if they only put a battery maintainer while working on it. Insurance company also stated if Trans was an "in network shop" they would have forced them to pay for all the damage they caused. But Trans is NOT in State Farms network. On a plus note, my insurace company is awesome. They paid the extra 2 weeks for my rental car, and the dealership covered my rental for the several days while it was at the dealership being worked on. As for Trans, what a disappointment. They had an opportunity to make it right but "washed their hands" when they messed up. I would hope they learn from this. So if you have a keen eye or a high'er end car, stay away. They might wash their hands of your car once they damaged it too. After all this fiasco with Trans, I got rid of that car. If I kept it I would keep looking at the shoddy repair.

These guys do great work. I had a pretty bad dent with a pretty good crease right on the body line and pushed in where the rear bumper meets the driver side rear corner panel on a special edition no longer available decal for my 2014 Challenger. They did amazing work and also able to keep the decal intact without damage AMAZING

I just moved from California, I wanted to register my car and when I went to get it inspected, one of the things that o needed to do was fix my third brake light. I messaged them on a Sunday to see if I can get it changed. They changed it the next day in less time that they quoted. Big thanks to everyone there, very friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend them. read more

I took my 2008 Lexus IS in to get a front bumper conversion to the newer model, and they did a wonderful job. The paint is a perfect match, and it looks like I got a new car without a new car payment. Fast turnaround time and great service. I couldn't be happier with my "new" car. Mercedes got rear ended. Researched on yelp for the best. Found huu at transfer auto body and took the car over. Filed the claim on the other drivers insurance. Huu dealt with them. Had original oem parts put back on the car. That's important to have original parts and most insurance companies have an oem rider otherwise they will use after market. They did a great job. Car is perfect. read more

What can I say? I've had him repair two of my vehicles. The most recent I thought was TOTALED. He fixed it above and beyond, even put on two new tires, when insurance only paid for one. "He didn't want my ride to not be smooth". He filled up my gas tank, unheard of. Kept in great contact with my Geico adjuster, even ordered the parts before he got paid. Him and his staff go above and beyond any thing I've ever seen at ANY establishment, not even just auto body shops. His customer service is unmatched and I couldn't be happier. My car had some damage to the driver side. I sent a message on Yelp that was responded to within 20 minutes. After sending a few photos I had a quote and an appointment set up for the next day. When I took it to the shop, Matt had a printed quote for me within 15 minutes that matched the quote I was given by message. After a few days in the shop my car looks great! This is the most amazing body shop. The price was excellent as well. That was important because I was not going to use my insurance. This place is very professional as well. I brought my car there for a bumper issue. They fixed and painted the bumper so it looks new. And when I dropped my car off I added a minor paint job that they only charged me $20 for. When I picked my car up, my front windshield was cracked. The owner gave me the number to his window man without an issue. The window guy came to my office and replaced my window. I will always refer people here in the DFW area. read more

My family and I moved to Dallas Texas in 2007 and had a difficult time finding a good honest Auto repair shop that worked on luxury vehicles. A Co-worker referred me to Tran's Auto in Arlington Texas to repair a dent and paint my S-Class Mercedes Benz. The Mercedes Benz Dealership wanted to charge me 4 Times the amount that Tran's Auto Body charges me, which was literally Highway robbery. Tran's Auto Body has been a true blessing to my family and I. Even My 25 year old son will only take his Sports Car to Tran's Auto for repairs. It's extremely difficult to find an Auto Body shop these days, that have high integrity and do excellent & affordable work on ALL vehicles!!! BMW, Mercedes, Porches , Lexus or your typical Toyota or Honda. You name it, Tran's Auto can repair it all and beat ANY price without breaking the bank. read more

I can't say enough of these guys, best personalized service you will get out there, prices are also very reasonable, Ive never been overcharger for any service. I have brought my q50 for many repairs and aftermarket parts installation, I drive 40 minutes to get there. Totally worth it read more

Oddly enough this year we gave our daughter the gift of a new bumper and windshield for her Mustang among other things of course. She had been driving without a bumper and a cracked windshield for at least two years. Since she lives in Texas and we live in CA. ,I went to Yelp to find a high quality body shop. Tran's Auto Body looked the best to me. I called and emailed thru Yelp and Tran got back to me almost immediately I felt like the price was fair and his attitude was great. The reviews were also great so I told my daughter take it there. Ironically she had already taken her car there when it sustained hail damage. She was pleased and I was as well. Tran bought the parts, painted the bumper and called my daughter to bring it in for installation. Today was the big day, the job is excellent, guaranteed for life and Tran is a very high integrity owner. My daughter is very happy. I am very pleased. Both my daughter and I highly recommend Tran and his crew. First rate job and fair pricing and convenient and flexible for the situation. Thanks Tran for a job well done. Usually when something sounds to good to be true it usually is, but not in this case. I picked this shop solely based on Yelp reviews as I am new to this area and had no recommendations for any other shops. It's not much to look at, but don't let that fool you. Huu and his team were able to get my car in right away, and had my car complete within one day of the original estimated fix time. Huu kept in contact with me by phone and email the entire time, and my car looks brand new now. This shop, Huu and the entire team at Tran's have made me a believer in the small guy wins over the big, fancy, high priced shops. Do yourself a favor and go see Huu, you won't be disappointed! "WOW...They are honest" ....this is the reply I've got from my wife when I text her how much we finally had to pay to fix our car, and this is how I want to start this review for Huu and Derek who they run this auto body shop!!! I moved from Chicago last August and I had a dent to my Audi TT for almost 3 years. Why? Cause they were asking from $2000 to $4500 and I knew already that it doesn't cost so much. They were giving my prices based of how much rich I look like. NOPE! Until I found this body shop, based on the yelp reviews. Derek the manager and Huu the owner (I think so) are SO SO SO friendly and helpful and most of all, VERY VERY VERY HONEST. So, I had the dent on the rear driver's panel, I also had a big scratch on the passenger's door, I had a small dent on driver's door and I also had I also had a huge scratch to my bumper when I put my car to a car trailer to transfer it from Chicago plus some damage to the plastic covers under the engine which I've got from the insurance of the moving company $2100 because nobody told the trailer it may cause damage to sport cars. The estimate I've got from Trans Auto was for $1900 to fix EVERYTHING. How much I paid? Way less, because they didn't replace the engine covers, they just fixed it and they let me know about it. I'm from Europe and I had to deal in my life with repair garages before as well with body shops too, in Europe and in United States. I always had the feeling that they were ripping me off. Not with Derek and Huu!!! THOSE GUYS ARE THE BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD THAT HAD TO DO WITH CARS!!! I'm so glad I didn't fixed my car anywhere else, although I was driving my Audi with the ugly dent for more than two years!! Derek, Hue....thank you so much!!! I did some business with Huu (Tran's Auto Body Owner) a while back and was always satisfied with his knowledge and enthusiasm to help. A couple of months ago, my Infiniti G35 coupe was damaged due to the storm. I requested a quote the night before and Huu had me in the next morning and appraised my vehicle. Took my daughter's Honda Civic here for what I thought was going to be a more involved job. Once Derrick and his crew got a hold of it, it was fixed quickly and for less than I thought it was going to be. Straight shooters, these guys. Don't let the state of the garage get you. I couldn't be happier with the service or the price! After an unfortunate incident of a tow truck driver ramming my car (yeah YOU Abbey's Wrecker Service! My car of 17 years was damaged in an accident where the passenger side door and fender received significant damage. I spoke to a neighbor about the damage and he recommended Tran's Auto Body and after 3 weeks my car looks like new (well on the right side) and I'm back on the road again. Tran's Auto Body team Brian, Derrick, TJ and of course Hu were fantastic to work with and they did a wonderful job on my car. I literally told them that I loved them after picking up my car. I had a deep scratch on my new Honda Civic from a piece of metal on the road that ricocheted and hit my bumper. Huu took my car right as I got in the shop on my appointment day. Took about 2.5 hours for the paint and body work, but there were still specks on the body that didn't get the paint fully inside. Huu made his employees do the job again. Second time around the job was on point. I left very happy. You can't tell that work was performed! The price was very reasonable for the job performed. Will go to Tran's Auto Body for future body work on my cars. Thanks again Huu! read more

My family and I have been going to Tran's Auto Body for years and I have been a customer since I got my first car many years ago. I took my black Mustang in to get white over spray removed and I was assured that it could be removed. I called to see if my car was ready and I was told it was. When I got there, my car still had white over it and when I asked, the Caucasian man told me that it was rock chips.... I haven't driven my car and it's been in the garage so that's not true. To my surprise, my quote went from 80 to double that for no reason, especially if there wasn't extra time or services provided to fix my car. There is still compound left over my car and someone should have told me they couldn't fix it and my car wasn't fine. Normally, they do good work and I trust them but not anymore and I will not be back.. read more

I picked Trans Auto Body strictly off the high number of positive 5 star yelp reviews. I was not disappointed and highly recommend Trans Auto Body shop! I recently put a nice size scratch on my entire rear passenger door. Huu provided a quick honest estimate and did not over promise. The damage was repaired quickly at an honest price that easily beat larger shops like Service King. Huu even touched up another area on my car that paint chipped away. Hopefully I won't need too use them again, but Trans Auto Body has earned a customer for life. read more

These guys do great work. Just took a new bumper in to get painted for my M5 and it looks great. The process was also very quick and easy. I sent a quote request via Yelp and Huu got back to me within minutes with a great price. They also beat their turnaround estimate by a day. A guy from MP Auto Repair referred me to Tran's Auto Body. He told me that he gets all his body work done here, and I couldn't be more happy that he informed me about this place! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who needs any type of body work on their car. I am surely coming back here to get my rear bumper fixed. They do such a clean job and the customer service is outstanding! They really know what they're doing. They even noticed a couple dings on my car that I didn't even see myself. Go here! First off, let me say that this is my first and probably my only review. I wrote this review because of how impressed I was with Tran's Auto Body. In October, I unfortunately backed into a pole with my vehicle, it sucks, but life happens. Being the proud owner of a relatively new car, I wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible. But, I didn't want to bring my car to just anyone. I wanted it done right. So, I did my research and found Tran's Auto Body, and I will admit I was a bit skeptical at first as the reviews online are perfect. It seemed almost too good to be true. I decided to take my vehicle anyways to at least get a quote. I ended up meeting the owner Huu Tran. He was beyond friendly and very nice. I got a quote there, and at a few other places with top reviews, and in the end decided to go with Tran's Auto Body as he was significantly cheaper than his competitors. I AM SO GLAD I DID! The work was initially estimated for about 4 days, but unfortunately took longer than expected. No big deal, he kept me informed throughout the whole process. Not only that, being that it took longer than expected (and my ride couldn't take me the next day) he was kind enough to work out a way so I could have my car before the weekend! Fantastic! Upon inspection of the car, I quickly discovered the work was next to flawless! Very impressed! Very satisfied! Tran's Auto Body has earned my trust and all my future body work business! An excellent and solid job for the collision repair of my Lexus. The owner Mr. Huu - a very skillful and professional person - firstly discussed the collision damages with honest manner. He suggested several options that include brand new part replacements, or used part replacements associated with very reasonable prices. My Lexus repair included replacements of two door frames, internal body frames, air bags and many sensors as well as correcting some outside frame damages and repainting the whole body of the car stems from the front bumper to the rear bumper. Such a bodywork associated with these listed many repair items normally takes more than 2 weeks, but he finished all in two weeks. I cannot complain anything for his work, ALL ARE JUST EXCELLENT. He has also mentioned that the car body-painting work encompasses a lifetime guarantee. Nobody wants to be involved in any collision, but if I have in the future, I will definitely visit this "Tran's Auto Body" for the repair of the collision again. Besides, this is a completely irrelevant issue to the collision, but it is noteworthy that one of door window motors of my car was broken, but he repaired it immediately with a very reasonable price. read more

I would like to add to my previous review. Huu is the most honest and helpful person I've ever dealt with. I picked up my car on a Friday and it looked GREAT. As I was driving home on the following Monday, something fell off of a vehicle in front of me, bounced across the highway, hit the divider and bounced into the left side of my car. I took it to Huu and he looked at it and said that it was small and he could buff it out and add a little paint and he wouldn't charge me. He said if it was him and wouldn't bother with it. Me, being very anal about my car, asked to go ahead and fix (instead of buffing and painting) it as it had two very small dings where the three inch scratch was and I just couldn't bear looking at those two little dings. He fixed it as requested and again, it looked great. Most others would not have tried to save me money by saying they could buff it and paint the scratch or that they wouldn't worry about it if it was up to them. HOPEFULLY I won't have to go back again but I sure will recommend this place to everyone I talk to. I can't say enough wonderful things about Trans Auto Body! read more

When valet parked my car earlier this week, apparently, the driver bumped the front passenger fender, and dislodged it from the bolts that hold it in place. Fender wasn't bent, but was hanging loose from car. I did not notice it until I got home. I immediately began to research body shops that could fix it. I kept reading reviews, and I was taken by the number of five (5) star ratings for Tran's Auto Body. I decided to drive over to get an estimate. I was stunned when Brian, such a nice, polite guy who works the front desk, told me they could fix it while I waited if I could wait an hour. Of course, I jumped at the chance. I had envisioned a rental car and days of it being in the shop. My fender was realigned and bolted down properly, and everything was tested to make sure my electronics were not messed up. I hope I don't ever need any more body work, but if I do, I will certainly go back to Tran's, for they are professional, fair, and courteous. What more could a customer ask for? I will also recommend them to any friends or family that need body work. I was greatly impressed with their service. read more

Thank God for a trustful auto repair I had find out by searching on internet.My van got hit on the side very bad, curtain airbag and driver seat airbag deployed.The 3 big auto shops want to charge me like $10,000,$9500 and $8500.I read people review for tran's auto on yelp and unbelievable there is to good to be true that he is not rip off guy.I called the shop any way,I explain to the owner Mr.Huu about my van situation.He knew exactly what I need to fix the van by look at the picture I text him.When he told me the total price is $3750 final price.Unbelievable,I found a honesty auto shop that kept his promise.My van took 2 weeks to repair.I was prayed for the whole time.When I pick up the van,WOW,it look great like new.They done a great job.No extra charge.I will recommend this auto shop to anyone I know.It is hard to find a trustful and honest person like Mr.Huu,without him I don't know where to get my van fix.The shop is small but the work ethic is big.Thank a lot to those people whose fixed my van. read more

I'm so happy I was referred by a friend to have my car get a second look from Huu. From the first greeting, I knew I was in good hands. I didn't feel pressured or like someone was trying to take advantage of the services because I'm a lady. I had a few "cosmetic" damage from a small debris accident that I really wanted fixed. Not only did Huu agree with my insurance estimator, but he found damage that had been overlooked and needed repairs as well. The best part is the price, convenience and overall professionalism displayed by the guys that worked there. No doubt in my mind, I'd trust these guys with my vehicle anytime. Huu Tran and his associates are friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. They did some incredible body work on the right rear bumper and quarter panel of my 2011 Elantra. When the job was completed, the paint was blended perfectly so that it looked even better than the original factory paint job on the left. Not only that, but they did it for less than half of the next lowest quote that I had received on the job. And when I came to pick up the car it was even washed, vacuumed and ready to roll just like new. It couldn't have been done better. Contacted these guys after reading their ratings and I am so happy that I did - They scheduled me for the following work day and did inform me prior, that it may take longer than a day or two (I had a weird leak coming from the back of my dash, after rain and car washes)..they dissected it for me and got me fixed up and back rolling - they kept me updated as they progressed, they were easy to communicate with, and very friendly..The price was fantastic! What a great experience I had dealing with Huu to have my daughters Mazda3 fixed. I needed the driver side fender replaced and painted. The work was done in three days as promised and it looked perfect. And the price couldn't be beat. I had several other estimates and Huu came in way below those estimates. This shop is an excellent place to get your car repaired. My wife's car was rear-ended and sustained significant damage. These guys are amazing. I had several small dents in some unusual places on my Cadillac XTS. I got much higher quotes from other places that required extensive work including new paint. This shop was able to do a PDR(paintless dent repair) which saved a bunch of money ...and the best part is that it looks amazing! It's as if it never happened! Thanks guys. I've been here twice and both times I was more than satisfied. On point with reasonable prices and time frame the work is done. Wow! Tran's great. Got my estimate day of collision and from day of collision it was 15 calendar days to completion. Looks like new car. Huu is easy to talk to and he gives lifetime guarantee to his work as long as you own the car. I highly recommend this shop and will use it again if and when the need arises. read more
