"Dangerous Work, Zero Accountability -- Warning to BMW Owners" DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE 4.7 STAR RATING. This rating does not reflect the true level of service you may receive and was the primary reason I trusted this shop with my 2018 BMW M550i. That trust was completely violated. Headlight Installation: After pickup I discovered gaps so large I could insert my entire key and keychain between the headlight and body. Moisture immediately entered the new assembly. When I returned, owner Freddy initially said "nothing we can do" then tried to sell me a replacement headlight for $3,900. Eventually corrected after significant pushback and documentation. AC Service: Charged $399 for a refrigerant recharge with zero documented pressure diagnosis -- their own invoice only states "customer says passenger side blowing warm." Both sides stopped working after the recharge. Paid additional $230 for a switch replacement that failed within hours. Two visits, $629 spent on service plus over $100 on Uber since I had to take the car to their Plano location, never properly diagnosed. As of today the AC issue persists -- still taking 15+ minutes to blow cold air in hot weather, confirming the root cause was never resolved. Dangerous Tire Overinflation: Most critically -- their technician inflated all four tires to 67-72 PSI. Nearly DOUBLE the recommended 38-42 PSI. Documented on their own invoice and my BMW's tire pressure monitor. This level creates serious blowout risk at highway speeds. Owner Response: Reported the dangerous tire pressure to Freddy via text and phone. Receptionist Emily confirmed he was in office. Zero response over multiple days. No apology. No acknowledgment of a safety hazard they created. I have photos, invoices, text messages and audio recordings documenting everything described above. Found Bimmers Only through yelp, and was happy to see they had great review, so I gave them a try on my 2006 baby. Yes, my car is getting up there in age, as well as mileage, but I wasn't ready to let it go; and after letting it sit in my garage for approx 3 months trying to decide my next move, I finally took a chance to get it looked at.... again for a second opinion. I was able to drop my vehicle off and allow them to take their time with the diagnosis and repairs, as needed, and I was informed of the diagnostic price up from and the next steps should I want everything replaced. I wasn't surprised with the items that needed fixed, but their quote was almost 1/3 of what I'd be quoted before! Once approved, they immediately began to work on everything, and even though they found another issue while completing the approved issues, they immediately reached out to confirm it was ok to proceed with additional repairs. The best thing is, they worked with me on the price to make it almost the same as the initial quote. Here I am a week later, and my car is running so good! I had a mixed experience at Bimmers Only. I took my car there to have the MMI Prime CarPlay Module installed in my BMW 650i. I purchased the equipment from BimmerTech.com and Bimmers Only is an "authorized installer". I took my car to them on a Tuesday Morning at 9 AM. Before I dropped the car off, 10 minutes prior, I took video of the interior of my car doors, dash, console, seats, etc. since they were going to have to remove some of the trim in order to install the CarPlay module. The reason I did this is because I had an incident at BMW of Dallas where their technician cracked a plastic piece on my driver's side door a year ago and I hadn't taken before photos, so this time, I made sure to do that. BimmersOnly called and told me that they should have charged me more for the installation because the didn't realize that my car was different from other BMW models when installing the module and that it would be another day before it was ready. They said they would honor the price that they quoted me for installation anyway, which I found to be good customer service since it wasn't my fault they underbid and didn't pay attention to the requirements (even though I sent them the specific instructions for my specific car from the CarPlay manufacturer when they quoted me). Unfortunately, after installing it they were unable to make it work and couldn't figure out the reasons why. So they ended up keeping my car for a total of a week before they finally figured out that they had set the dip switches wrong. When I went to pick up my car, they showed me how it worked and how to use it/etc. and were friendly and helpful. This part of my experience with Bimmers Only was great and I would have given them a high rating if what happened subsequent to this hadn't happened. I live about a 10 minute drive from their shop and as I was driving I noticed there were scratches all around the driver's door handle and a scratch/dent in my iDrive "Menu" button that wasn't there before. I immediately took video and photos of the damage and then looked back at the video I took a week earlier when I dropped it off and the scratches on the door were NOT there previously and the Menu button dent/scratch was not there either. So I contacted Freddy at Bimmers Only and told him that they must have damaged my car and how did they want to remedy this. He stated that "We're not about that, we take care of cars in our care" and denied that the damage was their fault. The exact same thing BMW of Dallas did to me a year before - but this time I had proof. I sent to him an email and told him I had proof of the damage and that they should remedy this somehow or I'd file a small claims court case against them and tell the truth about my experience on social media. He never responded again. IF they had simply fixed the scratches I would have been ok with that but they stopped responding to my requests. So, although they seem to know what they're doing in terms of BMWs and technology and had good customer service to begin with, I wouldn't trust my car with Bimmer's Only because they will damage it and say it wasn't their fault even when there's irrefutable proof that it was. OK for those of you that know me and or those of you that like to read reviews like I do before going to a business this is my update on this business and the review. So far they have done a good job with handling the car they did get my car and did the work on my car. I have not yet picked up my car because of some family situations which happened to be my father needing to emergency surgeries and me not having the funds when I had them before they started they have worked with me during this process, which has been a wonderful thing. I haven't reviewed the damages that they fixed as of yet but when I do, I will be back to send another review to let you know what I think about their work. The body shop seems to be a very reliable and outgoing place to send your vehicle. They do keep you in the loop of what's going on with your vehicle and they value their reputation and business and you as a customer. I do recommend the body shop for their worthiness to stand behind their work, and I admire the fact that they really do care about what their customers think about their business. read more

They took 3 MONTHS to repair it and even after I went to pick it up the windshield was cracked, a side view mirror was nonfunctional and there is something wrong with the airbag system. I have an older BMW, a 1999 Z3 so the car tends to have issues. But every time I have a problem they are on top of it and they give me advice on what to repair and what really doesn't need to be fixed. Prices are honest and they don't over charge for their services. In fact, the last time I went in and needed a check engine light reset they just worked me in immediatel. They reset the system for me and said that the repair was so fast and easy that cost was very very inexpensive. Had I gone to the dealer I'm sure just resetting the system would have cost the price of a full diagnostic as well as a significant labor charge. They have my business but more importantly my trust. Freddy and team are the most knowledgeable BMW team that I've come across in the Dallas area and the prices are really great. I've had 2 issues recently with my '11 550i. Both times Freddy explained in detail what the issue was and gave a great price on fixing it. A week ago I took my car to get the state inspection done at the dealership. They told me my car didn't pass inspection but couldnt tell my exactly why. They wanted $190 to "diagnose the issue". My check engine light wasn't on or anything. I told them no and called Bimmers Only and took it up there the next day. Freddy immediately knew what the issue was. He let me know that the car just needed to be driven for the computer system could update for the inspection. Sure enough that was the issue. He also told me if that didn't solve the problem, he'd update the Software in my car at no charge and that would for sure do the job. Needless to say I drove the car for 50 miles just like Freddy told me to. I came back and the car passed. Wanted to change my halogen running lights only to LED. Everybody I called said that either it wasn't worth their time or that they would have to take the bumper off to do it at a cost of $80 an hour at a minimum of 3hrs. I called Bimmers Only and Freddy told me to bring it in whenever I wanted. Not only did he change my running lights, he also changed my low beams as well! Even though he was slammed with a bunch of work to do. All for a more than price below what I was expecting. This is really a review for Freddy. I brought my pristine 2015 6xi GC with M pkg in for repair to bumper of small area of damage from collision. When I bought the car I spent 3000 when I picked up new to have paint corrected and sealed (CQ, full body, wheels, calipers, the whole thing), wrapped (3M Pro) by the best around in MN. I hand wash every week with pro supplies (Reset, ONR, Perl, UWW, HydroFoam, etc). So, I am exacting. Long & short: Freddy got screwed by the first body & paint shop to whom he sent the car. Won't go into detail, but it was painful. I was wickedly unhappy. Had that been it, I would be leaving a one star review. But... Freddy stepped up. Called repeatedly to offer to correct. I relented, and he fired the first paint shop, went to an excellent 30-year old paint shop, sent the car back twice until he was cool with result, and took care of my additional inconvenience and cost. As near as I can tell after one day, it is an excellent repair job. I figure anyone can have bad luck with a vendor - the thing that matter is does the business owner step up and set things right. First phone call went great and definitely put my mind at ease. Freddy was super professional and accommodating. I was working a hectic schedule at the time and he was willing to work with me so that I could get the work done ASAP even if it was almost 9 PM. Unlike at other shops I'd gone to, when I left with my car, it was better than when it went in and I had actual suggestions as to what I should have done next and when.
