They charged me $300 LESS what I was told. Great service! And my car looked brand new! Being a girl is scary going into car places because they will want to hack up the prices because you might not know if it's not a reasonable price. My car front bumper was pulled out probably from pulling in a bit too far on a parking bumper. Carmex happened to be close by, when I walked in no one was in the office but Diego automatically noticed me from the garage. I showed him the damage to my car and he inspected it and consulted me with multiple options to help me get the most of my money. The bumper itself was in good shape, just a bracket broke off so Diego offered a couple options to weld it. I went to a few other places even all the way to downtown and as Diego mentioned, their first instinct was to replace the whole bumper which was significantly more expensive. My Car repairs are perfection!!! I recently had a truck back into my car while I was at a complete stop. I mean he didn't see my behind him and just hit the gas. I'm so glad his auto ins. co. referred me to CarMex (N. Beltline Rd) they check beyond the cosmetic damage which the insurance was so sure it was all needed and he was able to find deeper impact damages. I am so happy with the repairs my car looks awesome. Even though i didn't have to come out of pocket he provided a receipt for repairs. I was so surprised at the reasonable parts and labor cost. If I ever need any collision work done on my own I will definitely contact his office first...I truly recommend this place to everyone, you will not be disappointed. I recently scraped the side of my Jeep Liberty against the (brick) post of my carport. Ugh. It left some nasty scrapes on the front passenger side of my car and detached the front bumper. I'm always leery about getting automotive work done because I worry I'll be taken advantage of. However, my husband insisted I get the bumper looked at so it didn't become a safety hazard. I stumbled on Carmex purely by chance. I had actually gone to another Yelp-reviewed shop, but when I pulled up it looked too dodgy, so I drove around a bit and POOF! There I was. The person who helped me was Guillermo Vera. I explained to him that making the car perfect wasn't my main interest--I just wanted it to be functional and relatively ok looking. He gave me two quotes: one to fix everything properly and make it like new, and one to reattach the fender. I opted to reattach the fender, figuring I could always do the rest later if it really bugged me. I'm really happy with the result. Not only did they reattach the fender, but they also touched up the scrapes as well. And it was only $100! I was pleasantly surprised and definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Yes, you can still see the scrapes up close, but I don't mind at all, and I really appreciate that they gave me an option that fit my needs. I hope I don't need paint and body work again soon, but if I do, I'll absolutely use Carmex again. Great service and reasonable prices. read more

Found this place for my husband's truck. He bumped it against a pole and someone banged the other side at Home Depot. They did a great job and it was priced reasonably. I drive a 2013 Toyota Camry and I was in a hailstorm in April/May 2015 and it was over $7,000 in damage. I started asking people and searching the internet about where to take my car that was reliable and cost effective. In an internet search I came across Carmex and observed that they were members of the BBB and had never had a complaint filed against them. So, one day I went by and had them look at my car. I did not decide that day to let them repair the car as I wanted to do some more checking around.
