My go to place to get keys cut. Last time I visited (about a year ago) to have a spare car key cut, I was told they couldn't guarantee the keys would work properly as the key was an aftermarket key and purchased online. I was hesitant but let them do it anyway. Key worked perfectly. Today I stopped in for another car key to get cut and sane scenario, they couldn't guarantee the key would work. One of these guys came out and put in a new door handle/latch and separate deadbolt on a steel clad front door. He did a great job. He was friendly, on time, and cleaned up all the dust. I had a tricky situation with an old door handle that left holes in odd places (which are difficult to patch on a steel door) and he was able to position the deadbolt so it covered the hole and looks great. read more

I've been getting help from the staff here since June of last year. I originally came in to get a new key to my car (my original one broke). They programmed it no problem. About a month later, the lock button wasn't working, since it was still under warranty, they ordered another one and reprogrammed it. I brought it back when my car started locking/unlocking itself, starting itself when I would get close to the car, and the truck would pop open due to the key spazing out basically. They got a new key and tried to program it but since it wouldn't program, the technician Brian did a whole system reset.. He said to take it to a dealer since they couldn't program the key. Took it to a dealership so they could program it and not even they can unlock the system since Concord Locksmith locked it up. Now I have to pay 800 to get a NEW WIN module because it's locked and nobody can access it anymore. Concord Locksmith doesn't feel it's their fault because they know what they are doing and it was just my module going bad. My module is new, it isn't going out doing to 'wear and tear', it's LOCKED and now can't have a key programmed to it because Concord Locksmith LOCKED the system by doing a system reset too many times. Thank you for the headache and now I'm out almost a grand because your technician locked my WIN module...I truly appreciate it! They felt making it better, was refunding me the original amount I paid (134)...thanks for that...nothing close to the 800 I have to pay for your mistakes read more

While I had an unfortunate experience with an employee at this business a couple years ago, I would still highly recommend Concord Lock n Key. My previous experience had nothing to do with their expertise. Having a rambunctious teenager, who constantly goes in and out of our front door with absent mindedness always slams the door, the inside door knob had come completely loose, barely hanging on by its screws. Normally, this is something I could fix. Unfortunately, I could not get the hardware to line up properly and since the door could not be used, I decided to call a professional. CL came out the next day, on time as promised. The tech was here less than 30 mins., as it was an easy fix and now it's perfect. They had the extra missing parts on their truck, which was great. I found their rates to be reasonable for their industry. We needed a couple of extra house keys and they had a key maker on their truck, so we were able to get that taken care of, too. I have to say, don't go to a chain store and expect that they will cut your key to the exact specs you need. I've done this before with two or three fails and it wasn't until I went to Concord Lock n Key, that I got a working key. My new keys work perfectly. I had my new house rekeyed on 6/24 and had a 3:30 PM appointment At 3 PM I got a call from the store to notify me that the locksmith was running late. That was in my book, great service already ... When the locksmith arrived at 4 PM he immediately got to the locks ... ... which proved to be quite a problem ! Two of my locks were from 1963 ... they don't make those types anymore !!! I watched the locksmith try to open the lock of my front door and cringed from time to time ... I was very relieved hearing him insist on finishing the job when he called the store to request some manual or tool and assistance from a senior locksmith. After finally opening the lock and getting to the other locks, the locksmith had to get back to the store since he had nothing with him for those particular locks ... The job was finished at around 6:10 PM ... No extra charges, just the exact amount quoted to me when I called to make the appointment and the $25.- discount for mentioning that I found the service on Yelp. I offered to relinquish the discount as a gratuity for all the effort the locksmith made to get me rekeyed and copies of the keys, and his advice on digital keys and all those modern keys, but that was declined with a smile and the request to write a review on Yelp. Very happy with their great service and one that I would recommend and use again (I will be putting in a digital key someday soon)!!! read more

Tyler called and he said he would be at my house within 15 minutes. He arrived around 11:45 and fixed the problem quickly.
