Kelly was incredibly helpful and saved me from losing my job as my computer had a problem that Best Buy and Geek Squad and other places didn't want to help me with.. Computer Impressions stole my hard drive. I brought desk top to replace a bad power supply. But, then they told me my hard drive disappeared. It was a "mystery" they told me. Well, I brought it in with a hard drive and it disappeared at CI. Then, the owner Mike called me and acted very officious, cutting me off while I was talking on the phone. I never asked for anything, to be compensated or anything. They can have the dive, I just want the data. Yeah, they stole my hard drive. read more

My husband was fixing our television and when he removed the screws on the back of the set, they got stripped. He replaced a part in the TV and checked several local stores for the very small screws he needed to put it all back together, but couldn't find the right size. He looked on the Internet and discovered the size he needed was also used in computer repair so he stopped by Computer Impressions. It was lunchtime, but Kelly helped him anyway. She handed him a box of different size screws and told him he was welcome to look through it to see if he could find the right size. He did, and asked what he owed. She said there was no charge! The keyboard and mousepad on my 2015 macbook pro stopped working one morning at work! I was devastated because I could not use it. I walked into this store the same day and worked with Kelly. Kelly was kind, knowledgable and direct. She told me the possibilities that could be wrong and ran a diagnostic test on it. I heard back from her the next day! To our surprise, my keyboard and mousepad started to work on its own. But Kelly gave me suggestions and created a plan B to come back if my laptop acted up again. I took my computer to Computer Impressions to see if it was worthy of warranty work or should be replaced. They did a free diagnostic test and determined the motherboard and CPU were dead. Their diagnostic was fast- I dropped my tower off in late afternoon and got the news the next day. My interactions with Computer Impressions are limited because I only had the diagnostic, but so far I trust them to be up front and reliable. Recommended. read more

Over the weekend I lost access to my email. My password was no longer recognized and I was not able to reset the password. This meant I was no longer able to receive or send emails. That Monday I phoned Computer Impressions and spoke on the phone to a very personable employee by the name of Kelley. She told me to bring my IPad in Monday afternoon and she would look at it for me. I arrived that afternoon and met with Kelley. She was pleasant and accommodating. Within 40 minutes my email was up and running again. The fee was reasonable and the service is excellent. If I ever have any other computer related issues I would not hesitate to use this company again. I had an issue with my laptop that I could not resolve on my own so I called Kelly at Computer Impressions late in the afternoon. She said bring it in after 10 in the morning and she would take a look at it. When it became apparent that it was not going to be a "quick fix" I left it there. After talking with this woman on the phone yesterday Dec 1st telling her what I needed, she told me YES she could recover my letter that was hacked and deleted from my computer, to come in tomorrow Dec 2nd @ 10. So I come in she acts like she doesn't remember our conversation proceeds to tell me that she wouldn't be able to recover my deleted letter, that she will make sure there are no threats and will run security. This was the first time I had an issue with my desktop PC that I couldn't fix myself. Looked for a local repair shop and tried Computer Impressions. What a great little shop, they checked my PC, recovered my files from by back ups, and even made a flash drive for me so I could continue keeping my records straight while the PC was being repaired and updated. This was the best, most responsive customer service that I have experienced in many years! Our business computer was compromised and Kelly started us off by being understanding and supportive. The entire process from assisting with selecting a new computer (it was time - so this was a good opportunity to move forward) to uploading and checking all software to in-home set-up was easy and well done. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We had bought a new laptop and needed information transferred to it from our old one. They did that very efficiently at their office. Then we had one of the techs come to our home to set everything up. Mike was great. He was able to circumvent a Wi-fi connection problem with our printer by connecting it to the new laptop (our computer skills are limited ), saved us having to buy a new printer. First off, Anthony Partida recently helped me find my lost Key Code for an old version of Microsoft Office 2010 and reinstalled it on my laptop so that I could resume my work again. I couldn't use anything other than Office 2010 due to my dependence upon a discontinued PIM add-on that was not updated for Office 2016 or 365 Home. Not only did he find the key code but was able to re-install my pro-plus enterprise edition in the 64 bit version rather than the outdated 32 bit version. Plus, he gave me all sorts of opinions on matters of tech and answered questions I had - at no charge. He even attempted to do the fix on the spot when I brought it in and I believe he wouldn't have charged me anything had he not had to put it on the work-bench. Two-total thumbs up for Anthony. If I could afford Computer Impressions prices, I would take all my work there (I HATE spending my own time doing my own tech - trust me, there are other things I'd rather be doing and that I'm better at!) I started using Computer Impressions (CI) a few years back and I love the guys that work there, especially Eduardo and now, the newest member of the team, Anthony. The guys were great and I could afford their services - i.e., $29 for a data transfer job, etc.. Sometimes they were a bit too busy (a GOOD sign) to meet deadlines they'd made if they ran into something unexpected during the repairs but nothing deal-breaking that doesn't happen in all industries (think auto repairs, dentists, etc.). Unfortunately, their prices began to increase while the costs of computers began to rapidly decrease and I got to the point that I couldn't justify the costs of service ($$$$ / hourly shop time). Instead I just started buying a new computer when mine got too bad for me to do my own amateur IT on it. I think Computer Impressions is really good for people who aren't on a budget or fixed income and even more so for businesses and enterprises. For us seniors and mere mortals with lowly incomes, though, they are often out of reach due to their costs. Still, I'm a fan especially thanks to Ed and Anthony. I trust them with my tech work and would recommend them to anyone who can afford to have someone else work on their computer. These guys know their stuff. read more
