I first put a good review, but a month, exactly one month has gone by and my screen popped off!! The left corner of my phone was chipped and that part was connected to my phone still. But the rest of my phone completely would pop off. I actually had to put a rubber band on it to keep it together. I had "warranty" on the phone so I took it in. Because it was chipped they wouldn't fix my screen. Out of all my iPhone's I've never experienced a screen popping off. I asked questions and stated my concerns! I even told him I didn't care about the chip! I just wanted my screen to stay on.. He still wouldn't help me. So I left. I went to CPR (cell phone repair) in Stockton and told him my issue. His first response was "cheap glass." No good glass on an iPhone should pop off from a crack in your phone. He then fixed my screen, put the tempered glass on, AND let me know I have LIFE TIME warranty on my screen and the tempered glass. Yes, this company is CHEAP! But... You pay what you get, cheap glass. my mom and sister both have cracked phones after a week of getting it fixed here.. Didn't think anything of it until now. I'm not one to leave bad Yelp reviews. Pretty small shop (kind of a hole in the wall), but they do great work here. I came in with a cracked screen on my phone after my carrier told me they wouldn't take it as a trade in. I was looking for a cheap and quick fix for proper screen repair. The turn around time was amazing. Ended up interfacing with Kevin and he was able to completely replace the cracked screen very quickly! Went straight to my carrier afterwards and was able to trade in the phone for full credit. So... I would like to preface this by saying that when I took my phone here, the screen did get fixed. It was a shattered 5c screen. On to the rest of this review... I took it in, paid 75$, waited a few hours, came back, picked it up. A week later the same phone fell off the couch onto the CARPET. And shattered so hard that the phone wouldn't even turn on. I took it back in, told them what happened and that the screen they put on must not be very strong. The girl working said adamantly that they were factory apple screens. I said that they were clearly not, everyone drops their phone on the carpet and when does a screen shatter?! Bottom line is they wouldn't give me a discount on repairing it a second time because they "make no money on 5c phones" as is. I was pretty mad but the darn thing wouldn't turn on so I didn't have much of a choice. Another week later I notice that the glass from the screen ISNT EVEN ATTACHED to my phone. I am so disappointed at this place. I am never coming back! that's for damn sure! I had an experience exactly like Casey H on a previous review. I had taken my little sister's Ipod here before and the screen kept popping off... didn't think anything of it..after the 3rd time I didnt bother taking it back, its a pain in the ass. I decided to take my Iphone 5 to get the screen replaced about 1 month and a half ago, the very next day after getting it "fix" the screen cracked, I couldn't believe it, I called them and told them about it and since it had cracked the "warranty" was voided. I decided to suck it up, bc I thought well I must of hit somehow. Now, one month later, my phone is doing what they called "ghost touching" where my phone is acting on its own. Selecting, zooming in and out of applications, scrolling thru messages, highlighting stuff., my phone looks possessed, not to mention, THE SCREEN is also popping off! and b/c of that stupid crack that voided the warranty the very next day, they couldn't replace it. I called and I also went in to speak with them, one of the reps even said "Yeah the screen is defective, but unfortunately b/c the screen is cracked we cannot replace it" I was so upset, I even told him the screens they are using are cheap! b/c how can it crack one day after replacement. He proceeded to say that "Their screens are the same Apple uses, with the exception that they dont have the Apple Logo" HA! Idk how many times I had dropped my Iphone before getting it "fix" and it wouldn't crack, til it finally hit a good corner. I took my phone to another company and they verified what I suspected, they said #1 the quality of the screen is a cheap one, thats why its causing it to malfunction #2 they had not done a good job gluing the screen back into the phone and that was the reason it was popping off! #3 a screw was missing from inside my screen!! I found these guys on CL, and communicated via text with the owner, Jared. He quoted me a price for repairs and activation - that he said was only good at the Lodi location. I made the drive, and was given a two hour wait time upon arrival. When I returned, things quickly went downhill. They couldn't activate my phone until the next day because their system was down, so I agreed to go without phone service until then. (I later found out I could have saved myself the headache and wait by going online and spending 3 minutes - at NO COST.) Next, they had problems with their billing system - which triggered an alert with my bank and froze my card - which I didn't find out until I went to an ATM to try and bring them cash. When I returned, after an hour of trying to pay and clearing things up with my bank, their system finally worked. No apology, of course. The next day when my phone was activated, I realized that I was given the wrong area code. This happened even after I saw him enter the wrong area code the first time and corrected him. I contacted Jared more than once about the problem, but I guess he ignored me because he figured I lived out of the area and I wouldn't be coming back. He was right about that. The whole time I was treated as if I was lucky to be there. The staff seemed much more interested in the higher margin customer who came in to sell them a bunch of cell phones he got from "friends". I took my phone in for repair, my camera wasn't working. when i picked up my phone i noticed a crack on my screen. they wouldn't take responsibility for breaking my screen. they keep saying i had brought it in that way. which was a lie, because they have a form where they write down the condition of the phone and that wasn't on there. if that was the case i wouldn't be arguing. The kid who said he was the owner, never took responsibility for breaking my screen. So i advice you, TO NOT GO THERE.!!! To top it off, "the owner" had said one price over the phone, as i get there. the price had change. he stated the price he gave me over the phone was the price of the camera not the installation. if your going to conduct business, you might wan to add those type of details. before you upset more costumers for your poor service. read more

I created an account just to post this review, that's how furious I am. I have never been to a worse place to get my phone or tablet repaired. Initially they told me they had all the parts in stock to repair my daughter's iPad mini. When I went to pick up the device the first time the device did not work at all. They told me that the parts were defective and they repaired it again. The issues only got worse, now the finger print passcode reader does not work, they replaced it with older model iPad parts. The third time they repaired it, the screen started to lift, as the adhesive was not applied properly. Finally they told me they would order a brand new part and call me when it arrived.. after several months and $120 I still have a broken iPad. I would NEVER go to this repair place again, I should have listened to my wife as she warned me that the appearance of the store didn't look professional at all... she was correct. read more

One of my friends recommended me here because she had gotten her phone fixed before. The price was much cheaper than other places I had gone to so I figured why not. Now, when I took my phone, the guy said it would be one-two hours max. I do not live in Lodi. In the mean time I went to have lunch and went shopping in Lodi. Over two hours passed, I called back and I was informed they hadn't even touched it yet. I was upset, but understood they may have been busy. The gentlemen told me two more hours. By this point I had nothing else to do in town, so returned home. Gave them a call 30 minutes before they closed, and my phone still hadn't been touched. I was extremely frustrated at this point. I asked if I could pick it up the next morning. They agreed. The next day when I picked my phone up, the screen didn't seem to fit right. I took the phone home and realized my front camera didn't work. I tried to turn my phone off and then on to hopefully reset and fix it. To my surprise, my phone never turned back on. My screen kept going back and forth between a black screen and a red screen. I immediately took the phone back and they told me they would fix it. After countless phone calls back and forth asking if they had fixed it, they hadn't.(They had it for three days) My boyfriend was so furious, he drove from Sacramento to pick up the phone. They didn't give me a refund, didn't fix my screen, THEY BROKE MY PHONE. I paid them to break my phone is what basically happened. Before they had touched it, everything was in tact. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GET YOUR PHONE FIXED CORRECTLY. I spoke to a phone repairman at AT&T and he stated they are using refurbished screens and they must have messed with one of my phones ribbons. So I'm a pretty easy going person I don't ever like to write bad reviews but this place honestly gave me the worst service EVER so about a month ago I drop off my tablet to get it fixed they told me that it would take about a month to get the parts which I don't mind . I thought it was weird that they didn't call me to update me on the exact time the parts would be there because the lady at the counter told me she would call back in two days. So the month goes by and I decide to call ( I'm at work from 7am to 730 pm every day so I never get a chance to call) and this guy tell me well we were never able to order the parts or fix your tablet. I said well that is very inconsiderate of my time . you guys mean to tell me you had this for a month and didn't have 2 mins to call me and just let me know? I'm talking in a calm voice btw and he starts freaking out on the phone raising his voice at me not letting me talk at all. I honestly can't stand people talking over me. I go on and pick up my tablet 2 days later and when I go in there don't say anything the guy just starts rambling on about how it was not his fault bla bla bla and the only sentence that comes out of my mouth is "well it's inexcusable not let me know what's going on" and he presumed to roll his eyes and stand holdings the door open for me not letting my finish my sentence. Okay. So read this through to the end. I thought I was going to be greeted by a rude young lady, from the previous review, and I thought I was going to get a screen that would break almost instantly, like Casey said, but I was desperate to get my phone done and I didn't have much cash on me. So I went to Cellularis to get it done. For starters, I walk in and there's a strange scent to the place. And it does look a bit shady. When I got there, my screen was horrible. ou couldn't even tell that my screen was replaced. My Galaxy S3 was restored to it's former glory! They took almost no time at all! They told me 2 hours and I get a call in less than 30 minutes! I dropped it about 2 times after I got it repaired and it cracked only slightly, but I'm okay with that! The screen was pretty durable, but maybe that's just Samsung screens vs wimpy apple screens. Or it may have been a 1/100 chance and some people just became unlucky. With this next part, I wanted to say that I entered the store with a menacing attitude because I didn't want to be pushed around by "Andrea", but that was wrong of me. There was a nice, enthusiastic young man, who I was a bit salty towards. I was so upset and apologized and explained why I was rude! He also said that Andrea is no longer with the company, so I felt safe. He was so kind and professional! He spoke with a nice silvery/singsongy voice, and I love it! He made me comfortable. When he had trouble with the receipt process, he asked if I could take a seat, so I did. He brought me a Ferrero Rocher, bowed, and apologized for the delay. He was so nice! I couldn't believe how sweet he is! While he was writing the receipt, he asked me about my day and gave some funny acedotes about his jobs. He was funny, charismatic, sweet, and such a delight! I highly recommend this place; just because he was so nice, even though I was rude at first. Trust me, he will brighten up your day, if you let him. Love him, but never got his name Love this place, definitely coming back! The atmosphere of this place is so delightful! When you go in, ask for the boy with the ponytail! We definitely won't be going back. After having the battery replaced 2 weeks ago we had to bring the phone back in because it was doing the same thing. The first time we brought the phone in we had to come back 3 times. Each time we kept coming in they kept telling us there was 2 phones infront of us. Finally 4 hours later the phone was ready. Had to bring the phone in again. Guess what? We were told there was 2 phones jn front of us. Came back an hour later. Waited 20 minutes and we were told the same thing again. They told us to come back in an hour. Came back and the phone was in his office and he was saying "goodbye" to someone. We finally told them we wanted our phone back. The tech comes in and grabs the phone and hands to to the cashier. This place is weird. The cashiers have to knock on the door in order to talk to him. I as read these review i can understand the pain and frustration I once too had several bad experiences at this place with the OLD OWNER first experience was taking my wife iphone 6 to get screen replaced replace screen and i get it back the camera is broken so i take it back and he tells me we didnt break the camera. after a brief argument i just wanted phone fixed so he charged me 50 to replace it ok i paid for that. so i come back to pick up phone and i notice screen is cracked and it was not that way when i dropped off note it was a brand new screen. so i tell him aye your tech broke my screen when he repaired my camera and he denied that also so after raising hell in his store he finally fixed it. so second problem i have had with him i take my iphone 6 to get class repaired go back pick it up and my touch id no longer works he tells me to restart the phone in witch i do still nothing then he tells me to restore phone through i tunes now my phone is some what bricked itunes keeps popping up a error code and not restoring my phone so i call him he cant figure out the problem i tell him this is bs now i have a 600 dollar phone i cant use. so i talk to the new owner wich was help at the time and asked him what can he do for me he worked with me and went out of his way twice to take my phone to apple store to get repaired finally after a long month or 2 of trying to figure it out he finally got it fixed and for that reason i am giving this place the rating i gave it but now if the douche of a owner was still there this would have not even got my time PLEASE IF YOU NEED YOUR PHONE REPAIRED THE NEW OWNER WILL BRING GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAKE SURE THE JOB IS DONE WITH NO CUTTING CORNERS. read more
