My six year old desktop sat in a dusty corner of my apartment and had never been serviced before I brought it in to Computer Impressions last month. I brought it in because it had stopped working properly, it was so slow that I could no longer use it. I dropped it off and they told me they'd look it over to see if they could find out why it was running so slow. The next day I got a call that my computer was ready. When I asked what was causing the slow down they told me that my Norton Anti-Virus program had been corrupted, my computer was trying to run the program and that's what was jamming everything up. When they removed the program the computer began to operate normally. I picked up my computer a few days later. I'm writing this review on my smooth running desktop. Computer Impressions followed up with me a few days after I picked up my computer to make sure everything was still in good order. I decided to write this review because I initially thought bringing my computer in to a repair shop was going to be a hassle. I was low on cash and my laptop wasn't working. I searched the Internet for a local business that could help but wasn't able to afford what they were quoting. Luckily I came across an ad to service my laptop for $99 and thought it was too good to be true but gave it a shot. I rushed down there after work and got there just as they were closing. A very nice man named Brandon (I think) let me in as he was locking up. After explaining that I had a report that I had to complete by the next morning he actually stayed late and fixed my laptop, while i waited drinking a complimentary cup of coffee!! I could not believe it!!! He saved me AND even though I showed up at the last minute it still only cost me the $99 just as they quoted. No gimmicks! Wow. Thank you CI. Computer Impressions is now one of my new Best Friends since I recently moved to Lodi. My old Dell computer apparently died and would not boot up. I was afraid that a lot of my files that had not been backed up were gone. The techs at Computer Impressions were able to pull almost all of the data off of the old hard drive and load it on the new computer that I brought in to them. The service did not stop there! They then brought my new computer to my home and helped me get it organized and up and running. My files were there and accessible. My heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Computer Impressions for their expertise and their compassionate service. Service was amazing. They understood our issue right away and explained our options in terms we understood. Costs were explained up front and very honestly. They communicated in person and then again by email in writing. Our computer was ready before the estimated and the even did speaker phone with me when my husband picked it up so we both heard their information and could both ask questions. I wanted to click for five stars, it would not let me. The tech I dealt with, Mike, was knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. I would highly recommend them for any computer problems you may have. Had them move data from old computer to new, then Mike came out to hook everything up and set up new printer, etc. Mike has a great personality and is a joy to work with. I received an estimate of possible problems and costs. They called before doing the work, and I had it back 4 working days later. Considering the virus is raging in our area right now, and she was only wearing a decorative winter scarf around her neck that she pulled up over her nose after people walked in, and she did not wiped down her countertop after she finished talking and looking at the customers equipment before the person in front, and considering she is 65+. I came in with an issue with my laptop's battery and they ran a diagnostic for free. The lady told me that I would have to remove the battery and test it myself if I didn't want to pay for an advanced diagnostic. While I was removing it she went ahead and helped me out anyway for free when she saw me struggling. The battery I ordered online ended up being dead on arrival so my computer was fine! read more

I had my laptop fail because of a windows 10 update they came in and reinstalled windows ten and went through and up dated my programs and reinstalled them. When I picked up my computer they gave me a run down on how things will change on the computer and have sent me E mails once a month to see that everything is running as it should. read more
