Came in with a clear problem with my fan, even had a screen shot of the error message, yet they still charged me 75$ for a diagnostic. Ok, I understand that they would want to run the diagnostic, by why not add that "deposit" to the fix, if you don't find anything else wrong. Got over that, then the tech gets back to me to confirm the fan needs to be replaced and adds that the "my computer is getting old" and the "hard drive might need to be replaced." The computer is less than two years old, and if you know anything about PC's, you know if you have to replace the hard drive you might as well by a new computer. This seemed like praying on the uniformed, and I didn't appreciate that. Wait, there is more. They sent me the bill before they even received the part, and naively I paid it assuming they had fixed it and the laptop was ready to be picked up. Who does that? It was another two weeks after I paid the bill that I had to call CEG back and ask them what's up with my computer? They had completed the repair and never got back to me. Trying to be on the positive side, a few weeks later and the laptop is still working, but 2 stars might be too high of a rating. read more

Please drive to another town if you have to but dont go to this company. It cost $216 for iphone 6 glass replace and a tablet that had no issues but needed a new cord. How is this good pricing. It took over a month and everytime I called they could not find my info in the system. I waitied on a front facing camera and it took to long so I said forget it and when i got my phone back there was no issue with it. The problem was the microphone. The device was returned to me with a dead battery unable to show the device even worked and then refused to lend me a charger until I picked up my tablet. Even worse they refuswd to discount the $ 10.00 charging cord I was forced to buy if i wanted to use the phone that day. When I repaired my own microphone i found many screws were missing including the one of 2 pentelobes on the outside of the phone. The reviews I have seen must be internal and falsified. I have 2 friends who also will never go back. This place is a joke. read more

Brought my dad's iPad in with a cracked screen. After getting it fixed, there were issues with the sensor when opening/closing the cover. Brought it back to the store and they said they still had his original sensor and the issue was with the replacement sensor they installed (found out it wasn't OEM). A few weeks later same issue reoccurred but couldn't bring it back because my dad lives on the east coast. Had to bring it to another store where he lives to get it fixed right this time. I've read multiple reviews and quite a few have had similar problems. Got my phone screen fixed. It was having really weird problems like things pressing on their own, the screen sensitivity being extremely sensitive, even in your pocket (my phone has locked itself several times in my pocket), the screen not being calibrated correctly (I would try to press p but it would press o. I would try to press a, it would press s on the keyboard) etc. Battery life went down quickly too. It's not exactly a keylogger but my guess is something is installed to cause all this. I reset my phone and all the problems went away. It's like my phone is brand new. Not coming back here, I was only visiting Napa from LA too. Just my cup of tea for this place. If my theory is correct, there should definitely be lawsuits. If it's something else like the OS just getting screwed up by them, then I apologize for this review. It's just too fishy that my phone screen is working damn near perfectly after resetting. read more

Do not have your phones or iPads repaired here. Sub par work and fix quality, at the highest price level. I took an iPhone 6 to have the outer lens cover for the rear camera replaced. The camera was fine. When I received the finished repair, the photos had birds eyes all over them. The glue they used was all over the phone around the lens. They said I needed a new camera, but after reviewing the pictures on the phone that were taken prior to them receiving it for the lens replacement, they showed no signs of a damaged camera. Just a total rip off to have to buy a new camera that the tech destroyed due to poor repair craftsmanship. read more

I was recommended by a friend to repair my iphone 6 screen here. Had my screen replaced for a reasonable price but soon after I noticed some defects. Home button was super loose compared to when I bought the phone. Two days later my home button gets jammed and as I pressed on it my screen cracked. I went in a few days later to let them know but they said it wasn't covered under warranty because I had done the damage. All i can say is that this was terrible customer service. The screen was super cheap and glitchy but mainly they were not able to fix a mistake they had done on their part. I recommend you avoid this place and head over to some real professionals. read more

A very belated review for these guys. I was visiting family in Napa, and was having trouble with my iPhone - it simply refused to charge. I took it to this shop to see if there was anything they could do - an lo and behold, they fixed it there and then....for free! It turned out that there was just some dirt and lint in the lightning port, and some compressed air did the trick. Really blown away that they'd just help me out for free. I have had 2 iPhone 6 screen replaced here. The first time the screen broke again after only a week for what appeared to be no reason. I looked down at it one day and it had a small crack again that started to expand then slowly chipped and broke away. Giving the benefit of the doubt that it could of been my fault I came had my screen replaced again at another cost of $200 to me. This time the screen was immediately malfunctioning and not reading my touch correctly, opening and closing apps on its own. The very next day I pull the phone out of my pocket and the screen is cracked is multiple places for what appears to be no reason other than a cheap screen. When I decided to go back this time they said I can't prove that I didn't drop the phone and there was nothing they can do for. So 1 month and $400 later I still have a broken screen. And it is very clear to me that they are using a cheap non apple replacement screen for their repairs. Very upset and will never be going back for any type of work from them. You can tell they're not factory screens because once they get a small crack the screen does not read the touch from your finger at all anymore. read more
