Oooh this is a scam I really worry about older, non-tech savvy people taking their equipment here. About two weeks ago I went in here to have my screen replaced. Less than seven days later, The screen cracked in the exact same place. It wasn't dropped, it wasn't hit, it was in a protective case. Ironically, it's still had their plastic cover over it I called yesterday and explained what had happened thinking - for sure - they stood behind screens that were still covered in their plastic No can do! They don't cover anything after repair. So basically, if you want to get ripped off, by a company that uses ineffective screens - get your phone fixed here. Watch out for their 90 day guarantee. That's only for screen sensitivity? Whatever that is. Every time I am in there, someone is complaining. That should've been an indicator. On a lighter note, I'm looking for a place to take my computer to have all of the data moved off of it. I'm willing to pay twice as much as it would cost this company. Can anyone recommend another company? Ready for the icing on the cake? Their sticker that they put on their phones that they repair stripped the paint off of my phone case. Hello my name is Jorge Navarrete, and I am a high school student at Napa High School. My senior project is on building a computer. I went to several local IT repair shops in town and I chose Computer Engineering because they seemed nice and have a great work environment. All other computer stores didn't seem like they wanted to work with me. I told both Jorge and Ahmad that this was a graduation requirement and that no money was involved. I read reviews and chose CEG based on the positive reviews I read prior to taking a friend in with a phone issue she was having. They quoted a fee to do a diagnostic yet prior to doing any work they thought the problem was possibly one thing yet it turned out that it was an audio problem that would be costly to fix. Eric was fabulous from start to finish. Because the issue/problem was not worth the fix on this older iphone we opted to do our homework on a new phone that will need to be purchased. Eric did not charge us for any time spent finding the problem with this older iphone. A very pleasant and professional experience. We found these guys a couple years ago as my husband broke the glass on his iPhone 6, they replaces it the same day and the price was great. As the frame was slightly bent the glass was lifting and then broke again. They took the phone overnight and spent a fair amount of time to straighten the frame and replaced the glass for no charge. We have referred a number of friend and a couple of clients of my husbands from Woodland and Dixon who needed help with their computers. Love, love, love this Group! I had an issue with another company in town that could not get my screen fixed. My screen on my iPhone kept on going grey and dark after a few days of picking up the "repaired" phone. I did this 3 times until a friend of mine recommended Computer Engineering to me. I walked in today just as they were closing and explained my situation to the store manager Austin. He had one of his techs put on a new screen in less than 15 minutes. Dropped my iPad Air on a Friday morning, screen shattering into a thousand pieces. I'd heard about this group from friends who'd said that they were fast, knowledgeable and nice to deal with. With that, I spoke to John who gave me the option of going with my current black screen replacement - or a white one - which is what I went with and had it back in my hands the very next day. They charged me a very fair, if not generous price - and on that point alone they've got my "Five Stars". I went here a few weeks ago, and was waiting on a part for my cell phone, i called a few days later and they had no record of me. they assured me everything would be taken care of but i have yet tobe contacted about any kind of update. i highly disapprove of this company, i have had better service at mcdonalds driv thru... I went in with a camera issue for my Iphone 5s and they promptly tried multiple ways to fix the issue. A few hours later they couldn't exactly fix the issue but did reseal my phone and replace my screen protector because my current one had been damaged during the repairs. They didn't charge me a cent because they couldn't fix the initial problem as well as they had wanted. Tipped them the cash I had on me for their time and will definitely head back with my issues. These guys rock! All three of them worked on my codec/file conversion/Dragon problems - after I had spent 2 days exhausting every other solution. I was devastated when I slammed my iPhone 5s in the door of my sisters car. Buyer beware Don't say I didn't warn you, unless you're wickedly lucky - I would pass and go to an authorized reseller. My screen started sketching out a few weeks ago, only a couple days after my repair was left overnight to be done. This place is a fraud and the warranty is a joke. brought my computer in after getting some error reports from microsoft. i thought the would take care if the problem but all i got was a run around. Jorge never returned my calls, and i couldn't get any resolution from them. i still got the errors, and paid $99 for nothing! I found all the staff I interacted with to be knowledgeable, fair, and friendly. My PC was sent out to have the charging port resoldered onto the motherboard, and then they dealt with a couple of other issues which arose.
