Can't say enough good things about Corey's work on our computer. Wasn't even an issue with the operating program or anything like that, it was the actual hinge and "faceplate" surrounding the screen that had broke. Apparently some mordern computers are very flimsy in that regard despite being powerful computers. I've used Cory twice now for different computers. He doesn't overcharge and does a great job. It take a bit more time that at some more commercial outfits but he's very affordable and doesn't sneak in any hidden charges. Whenever there has been a decision to be made (purchasing products) he is honest about the price and doesn't do markups. He gives his opinion and also listens to your input as well. Corey's services are not professional at all. There is no communication. He had my laptop for almost 3 weeks and he did not update me with new information I had to call and ask about it even then he told me what I already knew...that it wasn't working. It was almost impossible to get ahold of him because he does not answer and will only call you back if you leave a voicemail which he doesn't call back for a few days. When I got my laptop back it reeked of cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional on his part. If I could give him negative stars I would. Don't waste your time! read more

Corey spotted my computer problem in about 47 seconds! I had broken a part of a switching device when I'd taken the computer out for a long overdue cleaning of excessive dust. Knowing what parts I needed, he immediately ordered replacement parts from his own Amazon account and took my computer to his office where he performed some essential cleanup on my disc. Update - It had been a couple of weeks since i called to let Corey know that I'd been by to pick up my hard drive. I walked in the shop and told him why I was there. He asked me my name and I told him. Next thing I knew he was pushing his way past me to get at something behind the door. He didn't say "excuse me", or anything close to it. I literally took one more step back and was out the door! What The Hell?? This further validates my assessment that Corey is rude and has little business-sense. Who treats a customer like that?? I've had two computer repairs done here, one about 2 years ago and another more recently. Not only were they fixed very competently but the prices were extremely reasonable, quite a bit less than I had paid for similar repairs in the past. Corey Edwards seems like a very ethical person and provides very good, cost effective advice. I also purchased two items from him in the past, a cordless mouse and a power supply. His prices on these were very reasonable. At this point I'm thinking of having Corey put together my next computer. IMHO this combination of competence, honesty and very reasonable prices, makes this a great place. If you see an very old review, make sure it was while Corey was there. AVOID! I took my Macbook in to get the hard drive replaced. He never called me for an update after I dropped it off. Finally I called him after 10 days, and he said he just bought the parts needed and they will take another week for shipping. After another 10 days I called him and he said he needs to replace his broken macbook charger before he can work on my computer, and a new charger would take another week for shipping. After a whole 5 WEEKS, he finally finished his work that should have taken no more than 7 days top with shipping time included. Once again I had to call him to find out that my computer was ready to pick up. And the inside of his shop looks like a tornado hit it; dust, papers, and stuff everywhere. Dropped my computer off at Napa Valley Computers to have the cord jack repaired.I was told it would be Wednesday before it was finished. I called Wednesday and was told he might get to it tomorrow, Thursday. I called Thursday and it still was not repaired and was told that "I will try to get to it tomorrow. I was given a long list of excuses as to why it was not done. I told him I would be by to pick it up and was told to my amazement that I could not have it. After convicing him to release my computer I took it to another shop in town and it was repaired in one day. Poor service, too many excuses. read more

Corey saved the day ! I completely forgot I had an appt at 10:30am. I realized I had forgotten at 3:30. It was a Saturday and he was to close at 4:00. I called, he said he'd wait. I arrived at 3:45.
