Not only did Corey take my computer in, but was able to give me a quick turnaround in the same day. Corey replaced my laptop battery without compromising any of my photos and information on the laptop. Corey is very professional and gives excellent service. I've been back to Corey twice and both times he was able to get my computers up and running like brand new. I highly recommend Corey for the Quality, the Value, and Professionalism I received. Apple told me I was out of the window for repair, and it was a blessing to find Corey. I'll be recommending him to my family, friends and colleagues if they have any challenges with their computers.

Not this time! It would not boot in spite of more than 6 hours of DIY recovery attempts. I found Napa One with a Google search, and sent Don Hirsohn a detailed email describing the Mac, OS, and problems. I asked if he could restore it and recover 650 GB of applications and data. He replied immediately that he could do that, and I arranged to bring the Mac to him in Napa the next morning. He was able to reboot the Mac that day but determined the HDD was failing. He recommended replacing it with a 1TB solid state drive. The drive was ordered and received in 3 days. Don then restored the Mac from my TimeMachine drive. The Mac is working perfectly now with all files intact. A lifesaver! Loading apps and large files is noticeably faster with the SSD. Some apps required recertification, and he advised me how to do that for my Microsoft Office products. He also made a bootable USB drive as a savior for any future recurrences. Don was very knowledgeable about the problem and very responsive. He charged a fair price for his services and for the new drive. I am 100% pleased and I recommend Don highly. He is now my go-to person for any future Mac issues.

This is on Friday night. Wound up with it not working. Panic setting in bc he needs this to work immediately due to work commitments. The service was an absolute failure: Zero Urgency & Unprofessionalism: It took MONTHS--not days--to get an equipment estimate, despite being hired for quick response. There were constant delays, missed deadlines, and all-around poor communication. Hidden Fees & Massive Overcharge: Their final quote was a shocking $19,000--nearly double the initial estimate. A closer look revealed an undisclosed, hidden surcharge on all hardware, and $1,600 more than B&H Photo for the main RAID system. Rude Management & Illegal Practices: When I called to question the surcharges and ask for my $1K fee back, the supervisor was rude and condescending, defending the "normal" surcharges. Admitted to Illegal Recording: Most alarmingly, the person I was speaking with admitted on the call that he was illegally recording the conversation without my consent, only stopping the recording midway through. As California is a two-party consent state, this is a clear violation of state privacy laws and demonstrates a complete disregard for ethical and legal business conduct. I would advise everyone to steer clear of CEG. They overcharge, hide fees, lack professionalism, and engage in deeply questionable business practices. Jim G.

Finding Alistair has been such a relief and a blessing…read more He is a totally rad human. He shows up on time and fixes my problems with grace and tact and proficiency. In the past, my experience with the IT community has not been all that "professional" - showing up late, missing appointments, having ZERO personality and on one or two other occasions: creating more problems. NOT WITH ALISTAIR. Not only is he professional but he has a personality ahnnnd is up-to-date on current things happening with computers and networks and all the things that makes us average (non-IT) people go bonkers. A little background: He has worked on four of my office computers, pointed me in the right direction for a new laptop, networked three printers, set up my new laptop with ALL the info from the old, dead laptop, got in and did IT things that I can't even explain but were making daily office operations miserable: scanner not scanning, printers printing ONE.PAGE.AT.A.TIME.., hooked me up with a program that allows me to access my work computer/files (for free) from my laptop which....means...I'm headed to a beach in Mexico and can work with my toes in the warm, sunny sand.
