I took my computer and iphone to CEG and asked if they could fix the syncing problem. After three consecutive days, I ended up with more problems. The first day, I was told I needed a new battery (I had purchased a battery 10 months ago at CEG) but in good faith I bought another battery for $100 which included consult charges. After the second & third day, five different people made changes to my technology making matters worse. When I picked up my computer/phone yesterday, there was no manager to speak with so I have left a message. I hope they contact me soon as I would like to give this company a better rating. read more

These people are rea pricy! They charge a fee just to look and your electronic to see what is wrong with it! They don't even fix it . They just charge a fee to find out what is wrong! I guess if you have the large amount of money to spend who cares. But after they charge that fee than charge you with the actual cost of fixing your electronic your just better off buying something new. The service on the phone is great 1/4 times depends who you talk to. Than the people in the store act like they are better than you because you lack electronic knowledge compared to them. My wife cracked her 5S screen and was not eligible for an upgrade. We had a friend that went to CEG earlier in the year and spoke highly of them. We called in the AM, got a great price quote, and they were able to work on the phone right away-- 35 min later- a shiny new screen. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We are a charter school here in Napa and contacted this local computer repair. The first time they came here they were a half an hour late with zero apologies. The problems they fixed immediately came back. We contacted them again for a large repair and they scheduled a time to come out. Two hours later they still hadn't shown up or called. We called them and asked if they were on their way. They immediately hung up! We called back and they did not pick up five minutes later! This person who was supposed to show up, Jorge, wow... You do not get more unprofessional than this. Not only was this comical in its lack of professionalism, it makes it easy to never want to use this "business" again. Shattered my iPhone 7 Plus screen and wanted a quick repair. Backstory is that I live in San Diego but was on my way up to Napa for summer to be with my family. I stopped in Santa Barbara and went into the Apple store to confirm that the damage was only the screen nothing past that. They confirmed that it was just the screen damage told me they could fix it for 160 but I was gonna try and go through my insurance first. Insurance ends up being a total pain in the ass (that's a different story) by this time I was in Napa without any Apple store so I decided to come here since it was the only iPhone repair place that I heard of in Napa. I paid around $160 for the screen for it plus a $20 tempered glass cover to go over the new screen. Overall I ended up paying like 180 I think, It was about the price it would've cost me to get it done correctly at the Apple store. I give them my phone, they tell me to come back in three hours bc they were busy, i come back 3 hours without a phone and it's fixed, great. However the trouble came a couple hours after I left. My screen begin to flicker, imagine a fluorescent burnt out classroom/office light, then it started having a hard time pressing the buttons like if I wanted to type "g" it would pick up "h". Then it one point it started literally pulling up different apps that I wasn't hitting, it went mind of its own almost sending photos to people that I didn't ask it to (pls god no) I called them and told them they said bring it back in and fix it happily, great. I go back down there, and they were super nice told me that they did confirm that there was something wrong with the screen they put on (another 1-2 hrs) but that the new one was working, great. Couple days later the screen begin to do the same thing. I go in for a third time, they say they'll fix it, great, another 1-2 hours and a third trip down there and it's fixed again. Then as I could've predicted at this point the screen Began to do the exact same thing. At this point I'm just living with it. My phone contract is up in July so I'm not going to bother going down for fourth time. I'm a pretty patient person but to have someone come back for a third time they probably should've offered me a refund of some sort, it wasn't a cheap purchase. And it's still not fixed correctly. I gave it two stars because well it's better than it was when I went in (after $180 i guess), they were nice to me about it and replace the screen twice for your charge. But they also were at fault so maybe I'm just being nice. In the future I won't go back though, i'd rather spend the same amount of money to have Apple do it right. It's definitely annoying that my screen still isn't working after paying all the money for it and it's been a noticeable annoyance. I dropped off my laptop for service and repair, "I want a tune up and I want the left mouse button replaced" They have replaced this button in the past! I paid the fee they requested and was given a 2 workday window for return...5 days later they called and said it was ready but only half the work was done, they failed to replace the left button as requested, now I have to find another service provider and have another down time. I've had great service in the past, but will not be returning to people that cannot follow simple directions. read more

The issue is that my phone screen started to come off again after a few days, and this was just regular use with no drops. Worst customer service ever. Took our phone in with a cracked screen to get it replaced, when we picked it up the screen was replaced but it didn't work. Took it back in the next day because it was still under warranty, and they said we had damaged it during the period it was in our possession. Wanted to charge another 150 dollars to get it fixed. We drove to Office Depot and they were amazing. Save your time and money and get it fixed at office Depot Tech Services. read more

Whelp, as luck would have it, I cracked my iphone screen [again] by dropping from about 4 feet high all while siphoning wine out of a barrel a little too tall for me to reach. I lived with it for about 3 months until I dropped it [yes, again] and I finally had to take it in for some help. I've been in to this store a half a dozen times, mostly to get them to replace the broken screen on my (and my son's) i-phone, which by the way they do in less than thirty minutes. In fact, I've challenged them on more than one occasion to see exactly how fast they can actually get it done. But today...I swung by on my way to the AT&T store to buy a new i-phone because all my apps were crashing, and wouldn't you know it, a "forced restart" (completed with only two fingers) solved my problem, saved me the price of a new phone, and all it cost me was this rave review. This place is amazing. I had water spill on my Mac Air. Took it to Apple and was told it would be $1,000 for the repair and $400 if I wanted to ensure my files would be backed up: total of $1,400. The repair here was under $450 and they had all of my files. I was having issues with my USB not working, called them and they walked me through how to repair it myself. Can't say enough about how GREAT THIS TEAM IS!! Plus close for so many of us! I've taken my Mac Book Pro in twice, replaced the keyboard due to a dog dumping coffee on it and two days ago to have them figure out why I couldn't connect to my service provider as all my other devices were fine. Jason fixed it right up and then I mentioned that due to the age of my Mac which still looks brand new ( top of the line that I bought in 2011) was slowing down etc and I dreaded the cost of replacing it. He agreed it's in great shape and for $100.00 I could upgrade the hard drive! Picked it up today and it's a miracle! I've been meaning to write this review for a while. These guys are fantastic. I have been in at least 6 or 7 times with cracked/shattered iphone screens. They do excellent work, have integrity and are super-accommodating. I have three kids, all with iPhones and my only issue with CEG is that they don't have a punch card for families like mine; break 10 screens, get the 11th free! I've had friends bring their computers there and they have done wonders, including installing a bunch of parental controls on the kids' tablets, laptops, Kindles, etc. so that no adult content accidentally (or intentionally) pops up. A great resource for the Napa Valley. Keep up the outstanding work! read more

I brought my laptop and printer/scanner into CE Group for a repair. I am self employed so being without my gear for even a short amount of time can be very, very painful. The staff there were able to diagnose and correct my problems in under five minutes and with a minimum of effort. When I asked to pay, they kindly declined and told me to think of them when I need a more major service down the road. When it comes to service of your important electronic devices, it is easy for service and repair organizations to take advantage of situation where you need it fixed and they have the skill to do so. I was most, most, most appreciative of CE Group's ability to help me and even more appreciative of them not charging me for an inconsequential repair. Sadly, I didn't have any cash on me to leave in their tip box but will be heading back in the next couple of days to drop some in. read more
