The location of this storage facility is great! We moved from California to Georgia and they were able to accommodate us with multiple units across from each other. Also, the huge semi was able to navigate easily in and out. The staff, Anne and Rick are extremely friendly and they go above and beyond to answer all questions. We will definitely come back here is needed and refer others. Thanks Compass Self Storage for keeping our stuff safe and secure and friendly encounters. :) read more

After an expensive and horrible experience with Pods Storage, we started looking around at other places and came across Compass storage on Dallas Highway in Marietta. So my wife and I stopped in and was greeted by Ann & Rick, what an absolute delight, Rick and Ann were so welcoming and friendly, great sense of humor and we connected immediately. it was very humid on the day we were moving into our climate controlled unit. Ann and Rick were driving around and stopped to see if we were ok. We lwere so hot, sweaty, and miserable, Ann's warm smile and Rick's quiet but friendly demeanor made us feel better and in a on few minutes Ann brought us each a cold bottle of water, we were so taken back by their kindness, and concern. What a great team at Compass self storage, I highly recommend this place, and say hi to Ann and Rick for us, you won't be sorry! read more

This is one of the best rental experiences I've had with Uhaul. I walked in and was greeted amidst one of the agents being in the phone . Then another one walked in to service me. The rep that was in the phone had amazing customer service so I could tell my experience in person was going to be immaculate . Everything was quick smooth and we even had a chance to speak about my fur babies lol. This location is great for renting , storing, or for even stopping by if you had a bad day lol because they sure will have you leaving in positive spirits. The truck was clean and the rep that helped me had the truck pulled to the front doors opened and still asked if I needed help with anything . I literally forgot that I was at Uhaul lol Great Great Great customer service and would definitely use them again read more

This place is not a good deal! I should have known when they told me what I rented on-line was not available. But I needed to unload a truck so I took what was available. No discount on anything and they have raised their rental and insurance fees three times in less than a year. You can get a better rate at just about any place or you can get an indoor, climate controlled space for about the same as what you pay for a dusty, rodent ridden unit here. Don't waste your money. Also, be prepared to be harassed by calls and not so friendly voice mails if you are even one day late in paying. Don't count on their website either to pay your bill. It usually doesn't work and then if you have to call in a payment they charge you three dollars! read more

I have had my stuff stored at this location for a couple of years with no problems. A couple of months ago Compass took over & they have been terrible. Everyone acts like they are ready for a fight. They do not seem to care if I stay or go. The late fees are unreal. $20 for every 5 days you're late. And the insurance, I have been covered (homeowners insurance) since my things have been there & now they want to charge me $9 a month for the previous months. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Save yourself many headaches, look elsewhere. read more

I rented a Uhaul from the Marietta location, and had a very good experience. While they had some systems issues getting my order in requiring several follow ups, they were very accommodating and ensured I had the equipment I needed when I needed it. I would rent from them again. read more

I had nothing but good experiences while I had my stuff stored at compass. When it came time to move Mary Ann reserved my truck and we checked in every week to make sure it would be there the day of the move. It was very convenient to have my truck waiting for me at my storage unit, saved a lot of time and gas. Mary even came over to see how it was going as we were loading up. Thanks to Mary and rick for making my move one of the quickest and easiest moves I've ever done. Special thanks to Mary for hooking me up on my exit from the storage unit!!! If there were a lower review I would surely give it, I have my stuff stored at the Hiram location for 10+ years and when it was Attic Storage it was GREAT. but since this _ _ _ company took over it has been nothing but MONEY MONEY MONEY. . late fees galore. and every few months the rent goes up without any notice. I WILL NOT take it anymore and will be leaving SOON.. as for the comment before mine here on this page.. it is ALL true. oh and FYI. I have found that there are MANY others with much lower prices for better . so rent here if you like.. but you have been warned read more

One should be wary before renting at a Compass Storage facility. The staff at my location are excellent. The issue you will have is with whoever owns or runs the enterprise. Specifically, there is a problem at Compass with predatory pricing. Once you've moved in, they raise your prices frequently and steeply. I was in a large 20 x 12 space that started out at $169. Over the course of a year, it jumped to $229. I then moved to a smaller space a year ago that was $109. Twelve months later it's at $143. Buyers... BEWARE! Forewarned is forearmed. read more

My husband and I have truly enjoyed getting to know Maryann and Rick at Compass storage. They are very friendly and grounds are well kept and inviting. I feel safe when working in our unit of storage. The gates are locked and there is plenty of lighting. They business is located near our home which makes it easy for frequent visits. I had not heard of Compass storage until our first visit. I would highly recommend this business for your storage needs. Way to go Maryann and Rick. read more

My experience with Compass U-haul was great. I reserved my truck online at the last minute and was hoping to get started earlier than what my appointment was schedule. Unfortunately, the truck was not available early but Rick called me as soon as it was brought back. Rick is very personable and we had good conversation while getting the paperwork filled out. The location is also great because the gas station is directly next to the building so refilling is easy!! read more

We were customers for several months. From the initial phone call, leasing, months of access and use, to the final exit, the team at Compass demonstrated stellar customer service. The facility is always clean, well maintained and lighted. I am now renting a car tow dolly from them since they are also U Haul dealers. Everything is great. Compass is my go-to for UHaul and storage needs. Rick and MaryAnn consistently provide friendly, stellar service. They are incredibly helpful, polite and professional every time I've been there. I've recently moved and they're no longer the closest to me. The service here is worth the extra few minutes to drive. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. read more
