Not only did Fifth Room Storage provide all these services, but they went above and beyond to deliver my items to my new place when I was in a time crunch. I would be very wary of using either 1800Packrat or ZippyShell (same company). I have used UPack…read morebefore which went very well and I should have used them this time as well. I reached out to this company (Zippy Shell) to get pricing on a move. I was quoted a price for a 2.5 bedroom long distance move, I thanked the individual, and said I wanted to continue shopping around. They then reduced the price so I wouldn't need to. I decided to go with their service. When the move happens, I receive two 8 foot pods, and I pack them, find out I need a little more room, I call them for another one just to get pricing. I then find out that apparently they only quoted me for one, they only have one having been delivered, EVEN THOUGH THEY DELIVERED TWO, and then I would need to pay more. So they tried to up the price $800 to move the second pod that was ALREADY delivered and packed. Because they match quotes, I sent them to U-Haul quotes for the exact same pod delivery system for both a 2 and 3 pod delivery, and they informed me that they do not match U-Haul because they do not see U-Haul as a true competitor. To add insult to injury, I received a call from one of the most condescending and dismissive "customer" service representatives I have ever spoken with. She called to tell me about the price increase, never ONCE apologized for their oversight/way they handled this interaction, and then when I asked to speak to someone with more empathy and customer skill, she said someone would call me back to go over pricing. In short, a company that doesn't double check its records, take responsibility for their actions, nor know how to treat customers that pay to keep their lights on. I will post a follow up once this is fully resolved. UPDATE: I was told that I would be charged ~$1,550 for the additional container. They ended up charging me $1,717.19 and a fuel charge of $141 that no one told me about. All in all, this move was significantly more than if I had gone with U-Haul's complimentary service, and I wish I had continued to shop around. I would absolutely give them 0 starts but it isn't possible!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

The two men…read morethey called "movers" were two inexperienced clods that while moving the first piece of furniture (an average sized dresser), damaged the wall in two places and dropped the dresser on the stairs. We fired them immediately and then had to scramble to find another moving company. Now ZippyShell has the nerve to still charge us a cancellation fee!!!!

According to the lady they don't know what time they are going to lunch. Seems like that is more selfish than customer service oriented. Not a good way to run a business. So call first and check they are there. One poor man waited an hour and a half while paying the movers!! No bueno!!***while the manager wrote a comment below that unfortunately is not true. There was not a sign on the door and in fact I suggested there be one posted. It was longer than 20 minutes..I myself was there for longer than that... disappointing when people make excuses...instead of working on the opportunity to improve their services.
