Additionally, the owner chose to send a truck that was far too small for my move, even though I had reviewed the full inventory of my apartment with him twice in advance. I ultimately had to use my own heavy-duty wagon to assist with moving items downstairs in an effort to keep the process moving. There was also a clear lack of care in handling my belongings. Items such as a glass mirror and a fabric headboard were not properly wrapped, and I had to personally intervene to ensure they were protected. Due to limited space in the truck, I was forced to transport some items in my own vehicle. We did not arrive at the new apartment until nearly 4:00 PM. At that point, the owner complained to me about "working for free," which was highly inappropriate given that I was paying for the service.
