They damaged two storage organizers and both of my reclining leather sofas. After over 30 days Darius has yet to answer how he would recover my damages for my $3000 couches as well as my credit card fraud. I am filing a police report and a suit in court. Stay far away from this company! It's a scam! On moving day they will show up and tell you "their card machine is down and you have to pay cash" that's because they don't have a card machine. The auto dealer confirmed there were a lot of $100-200 charges all from different cards on that account that they will be turning over to police!

They loaded the truck with me present and upon arriving with my belongings at the new location, had switched trucks to a TINY U-Haul, items were falling out when the door opened, and some items (an antique floor lamp) were in the cab of the truck with the drivers! Nearly everything was broken-- furniture, box contents, EVERYTHING. Darius Hunnicutt assured me everything was insured, as he said before I hired them, and I would receive reimbursement. This never happened. Finally, a consumer reporter ambushed them, put the story on television and Peach State agreed to a small reimbursement. This also never happened. Do not use them and do not be surprised, if you do, to learn you are not covered by the law, because they ARE NOT LICENSED.

I'm giving them 3 stars for effort…read more First - note that they lack any other web presence outside of yelp and their address on yelp is incorrect (it's a building that as of late 2016 is boarded up and appears to be unused for at least a year or likely more). They also keep themselves pretty busy, and are not that prompt about returning messages ahead of the move date. My move was scheduled at 8:00 am. Then the day before when I called to confirm I was told 8-10am. So at 8:30 am the day-of I called to check and found that they had a truck problem. In the end the 3 guys showed up in a U-Haul that was a good bit too small. The team leader really did seem to know what he was doing in terms of packing and loading. However they wasted a bit of time because they were attempting to fit things into a space that was just too small. In the end, they gave me a 2nd trip for which they charged 30 minutes of time (the trip took closer to 2 hours for driving from one side of town to the other, loading my last bulky items, driving back and then unloading. Pros: - Loader knew his stuff and took pretty good care of our stuff. - Guys were strong and moved things effectively. Cons: - They did not follow up with me to get a better list of what I had, therefore when the truck that they were bringing broke, they brought one that was too small instead of being more prepaired. - Their main office seems to be disorganized and has a difficult time with some followup. - They seem to lack a valid business license. A number of other movers that I checked had recently been suspended due to not paying, but had at least done some sort of filing. I did not think to check this until I had already sent them a deposit (see https://ecorp.sos.ga.gov/BusinessSearch) I hope this helps. I'm also hoping that Metro Movers can improve their office situation and provide a bit more of an online presence as well as some clearer pre-move communications.

I am uncertain why I was selected to write a review, but here it is…read more.. I would tell anyone who is looking for storage to go ANYWHERE but Public Storage. Let me give a little insight into my feelings. On December 12th I received this text: PUBLIC STORAGE: Welcome, your space is ready! Your rental starts 12/12. Space 1674. That same day, I received the request for a review. Today, I received this text: Public Storage: Your account is delinquent - We have not received your balance due for this month and you must pay this obligation. Don't get stuck with a huge bill - please contact your property to settle your account or visit https://psurl.at/gNpWqqtEfP to pay online. Now may I add that prior to either of these messages I had rented the unit in November and paid for it. Then, I went to the unit two weeks later to find my lock had been cut off and two other locks replaced it. The office was closed so I went back home to look at my account online. I was set up for automatic billing and had been charged for the unit. However, it listed a different unit number. On the following business day, I went into the office to address the matter. I asked for the manager and explained the situation to the person who said she was the manager. I also explained that I had already looked online and it listed my unit as a different number. The manager said she would show me to my unit. I asked, "Oh so now you are saying I am stupid?!?!" She said, "no, I just want you to see your unit." The other lady in the office took me to the unit. I told her that I was never shown a unit in that building. Then I took her to MY unit where I had placed all of my clothes. She couldn't open my unit until given permission by the manager because she had to "follow protocol". After returning to the office, she received permission to open the unit. I checked and all of my things were still there. We returned to the office and I was advised that I owed more money because the unit that I was occupying was a higher rate than the one that was "assigned" to me. So I paid another $47.3. This was all on December 13. And I had already paid $54.90 on December 5 and $73.77 on November 6 when I first rented the closet-sized unit. I'm not really sure who determines the rates and manages the place but it really seems to be on auto-pilot. Therefore, I will be visiting the establishment tomorrow so I can end this relationship and close my wallet!
