Found this place super close to ucla! Comoncy is a small breakfast cafe with variety items on the menu. Even though it's small, it could get very busy during lunch. I was there almost noon on a Tuesday. They are very popular among students and staffs from the university, one after another, given enough work for the staffs to be busy since there were only two of them: one cashier who makes drinks, and one chef who was running around the whole time (high praise to the chef). Food and drink: I think the matcha was alright. Nothing stood out to me. However the food was amazing. I ordered one egg cellent sandwich and one breakfast burrito. They freshly cook both right there. The egg yolk was perfect as described to be runny for the sandwich. The burrito surprised me with blue cheese. I would definitely go back again if I'm around the area.

The best hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you're greeted with "hello's" from Porfirio, Nelson and Luis who are always so kind and helpful in every way. I don't only come here for the food but I come here for the friendly service that is always welcoming. Please stop by and enjoy this little gem like I have.

The food at this place is incredible! I forgot to take a picture of my scrambled egg sandwich I got, but it was so delicious (one of the best I had in a while!). The sandwich I got had scrambled eggs, bacon, and arugula over toasted whole wheat bread and it was delicious! I would 100% come again to eat that sandwich and try out their food. I also got a Matcha Latte which wasn't too strong, but for the price ($5.25?) isn't too bad considering how expensive matcha is these days. The service was incredible. The cashier/barista was nice and let me know there was going to be a wait. If you're looking to try this place out, I suggest placing your order before the 12 PM lunch rush or after! Overall, it's a solid spot to grab food and coffee. Highly recommended to check the place out!

4.5, pretty good coffee!! i got the cubano and loved it. wifi works well too but only one seat i think that was next to an outlet. but there's a good amount of seating (few inside and theres a lot in the patio area), staff were really nice and gave great recommendations, the ac was blasting so it was a bit cold inside. they have a shared restroom in the building. i also got a too good to go bag from here and it was a great deal! the pastries were good an dit came with a sandwich which was a thin baguette-pretty good prosciutto and brie. they also validated parking for 90 minutes!

I've been to Comoncy in Westwood several times, and every visit is consistently a great experience. The staff here are always super friendly and welcoming -- they genuinely make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. The service is fast, the atmosphere is calm and clean, and the coffee always hits the spot. I love stopping by for breakfast or lunch because everything tastes fresh and is made with care. The avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches are my go-tos, and their lattes are always perfect. It's such a nice place to relax, get some work done, or just enjoy a good meal with good people. Highly recommend Comoncy Westwood -- great food, great coffee, and some of the nicest people around!

Comoncy has everything I look for in a cafe - plenty of seating, free validated parking, quiet, good coffee and food. It's tucked away, hidden behind the office building on the SW corner of Westwood and Wilshire (the entrance is off Westwood Blvd). I regret not coming here more often when my office was across the street. Comoncy catered all of our lunch meetings, but now that we've gone remote, we no longer use their catering services as often. I make a point to come at least once a week now. I like their salads and sandwiches, but my favorite item is their coconut raspberry muffin. Their muffin and latte will brighten my mood for the whole day. Service has always been quick and friendly. Note that they close at 3pm on weekdays and are closed on the weekends. Tip: The parking lot entrance is on Ashton Ave, just south of Wilshire Blvd. Parking is free for 90 minutes with validation.

Came right when they opened at 8am on a Monday morning. I was in the city for a conference at UCLA - I walked from the conference center. Ordered the breakfast burrito, which was awesome! It was relatively simple, but each ingredient tasted fresh and flavorful. We really don't have avocados like this on the east coast. Service was super fast (I was the only one in there, since it was so early). Ate outside on the patio, which was really nice.

I've been here a five or six times, usually for coffee and occasionally for breakfast. They are always a solid option. Cute outdoor patio, small indoor seating. No parking as far as I could tell. Service is okay, the cashier was nice enough. Food comes out slow so make sure to order ahead if you're in a hurry, or be okay waiting. I was not in a hurry so I didn't mind. I've always enjoyed the breakfast burritos but this recent time they did not have the salsa to go with it, so it was bland. We asked the cashier for salsa and he said "there isn't any, just hot sauce" as if it's something they don't sell, when it is, in fact, listed on the menu with the breakfast burrito. Not the end of the world, but tastes better with salsa. TLDR: it's a decent spot, convenient if you're in the Westwood area. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's better than overpriced Alfred.

Stopped for a quick coffee. It's in the Wasserman building (red). If you park in the buildings parking lot free 90 mins.

I ordered the mozzarella sandwich with fresh ovoline mozzarella, creamy avocado, crunchy alfalfa sprouts, pickled red onions, and zatar spread on their signature crackly house made focaccia. The sandwich was stacked incredibly high with fresh ingredients and every bite was delicious. The focaccia alone deserves recognition since it was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. The flavors worked really well together. The portion was huge and it took me about forty minutes to finish because it was so generously loaded. They even gave me a side of avocado at no charge which was a really nice surprise. We also both ordered the homemade lemonade which was to die for and very refreshing. For the quality and portion size the prices are very affordable. They also accept Blackbird which is a great bonus. Amazing sandwiches, fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back before we head home.

My friend and I got the Cuban and the Combo Grinder to share, and I thought both were very well seasoned, well packed with food, and very delicious. The cost of these sandwiches is a bit pricy, but I think they're worth the splurge to try every now and then. I also have to shout out the service at this location. I came around 15 minutes to closing when the staff was getting ready to clean up, and they still happily took my order and got it out quickly and without errors. I really appreciated that!

The focaccia bread was perfectly crunchy yet airy, and the Calabrian sauce delivered just the right amount of heat. The sandwich came generously stacked with turkey, making the roughly $15 price point feel well worth it. Again, these sandwiches are loaded-- I finished the whole thing in one sitting because it was that good, though honestly, half would be more than enough to satisfy most people. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming. I was greeted immediately upon walking in, which always sets a great tone. Highly recommend stopping by Bread Head if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Westwood.

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. Myself and some others were not a fan of the lemon preserve but with those removed the sandwiches were great.

I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!
