This is easily one of my favorite cozy spots in Westwood. It's the perfect place to escape the crowds and noise for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is warm, quiet, and welcoming, making it a great place to slow down and enjoy your meal. What really makes this place special is the staff. Pio, Luis, and Nelson are always incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They take the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and make every customer feel valued. Their service is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. I highly recommend the breakfast croissant and a latte. They're both delicious and make the perfect breakfast combination. If you're looking for a peaceful café with excellent food, great coffee, and outstanding customer service, I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you, Pio, Luis, and Nelson, for always making every visit such a great experience! read more

Great lunch spot. There's a cute area to sit and have a quiet meal with a friend or a quick bite. I love their salads and coffees. Very friendly staff. read more

This was a terrific place for lunch to catch up with my friend from Mexico. I was looking for a quiet place to catch up. Despite the fact that its very close to loud Westwood and Wilshire Boulevards, the outdoor tables are quiet. Its such a relaxing environment. The staff were hospitable and professional. They answered all of our many questions. It was not easy to decide what to eat. The chicken panini was very tasty. My friend was unable to finish the Egg-cellent sandwich. The prices are very affordable. This is my go to place in Westwood. It was not hard to find street parking around the corner. The building also has parking. read more

Found this place super close to ucla! Comoncy is a small breakfast cafe with variety items on the menu. Even though it's small, it could get very busy during lunch. I was there almost noon on a Tuesday. They are very popular among students and staffs from the university, one after another, given enough work for the staffs to be busy since there were only two of them: one cashier who makes drinks, and one chef who was running around the whole time (high praise to the chef). Food and drink: I think the matcha was alright. Nothing stood out to me. However the food was amazing. I ordered one egg cellent sandwich and one breakfast burrito. They freshly cook both right there. The egg yolk was perfect as described to be runny for the sandwich. The burrito surprised me with blue cheese. I would definitely go back again if I'm around the area. read more

4.5, pretty good coffee!! i got the cubano and loved it. wifi works well too but only one seat i think that was next to an outlet. but there's a good amount of seating (few inside and theres a lot in the patio area), staff were really nice and gave great recommendations, the ac was blasting so it was a bit cold inside. they have a shared restroom in the building. i also got a too good to go bag from here and it was a great deal! the pastries were good an dit came with a sandwich which was a thin baguette-pretty good prosciutto and brie. they also validated parking for 90 minutes! read more

The food at this place is incredible! I forgot to take a picture of my scrambled egg sandwich I got, but it was so delicious (one of the best I had in a while!). The sandwich I got had scrambled eggs, bacon, and arugula over toasted whole wheat bread and it was delicious! I would 100% come again to eat that sandwich and try out their food. I also got a Matcha Latte which wasn't too strong, but for the price ($5.25?) isn't too bad considering how expensive matcha is these days. The service was incredible. The cashier/barista was nice and let me know there was going to be a wait. If you're looking to try this place out, I suggest placing your order before the 12 PM lunch rush or after! Overall, it's a solid spot to grab food and coffee. Highly recommended to check the place out! read more

Comoncy - THE BEST CREW - Cafes Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Breakfast burrito is great. Pricey but yummy. Service was friendly, and nice outdoor seating area.

I've been coming to Comoncy every week and it's one of my favorite places because everything on the menu is made so well! The salads are always fresh, the sandwiches are incredible, and the coffee is consistently amazing. What keeps me coming back is the outstanding service. Nelson, Luis, and Porfirio are genuinely some of the kindest, friendliest, and hardest-working people I've met. No matter how busy it gets they always greet everyone with a smile, work incredibly fast, and make every customer feel welcomed. They remember regulars, create such a positive atmosphere, and somehow make my day every single time I stop by. Employees like Nelson, Luis, and Porfirio are rare and they're the reason customers become loyal regulars. If anyone has earned a raise or special recognition, it's these three. Thank you for making every visit such a great experience! read more

I've been to Comoncy in Westwood several times, and every visit is consistently a great experience. The staff here are always super friendly and welcoming -- they genuinely make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. The service is fast, the atmosphere is calm and clean, and the coffee always hits the spot. I love stopping by for breakfast or lunch because everything tastes fresh and is made with care. The avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches are my go-tos, and their lattes are always perfect. It's such a nice place to relax, get some work done, or just enjoy a good meal with good people. Highly recommend Comoncy Westwood -- great food, great coffee, and some of the nicest people around! read more

We have gone to Comoncy twice now visiting from the central coast and have met my father as a meeting point from seal beach. The food is great! Croissant sandwich 10/10! There is a parking garage and 90 minute validation if you eat at the restaurant. The man who is working the register is so helpful and friendly. We at there two weeks ago and he remembered my order and said ,"welcome back!" When we walked in. Sorry I didn't catch your name, but you made our day thank you! There is also a nice outside seating area with umbrellas or an inside area as well. They bring your food out to you so don't worry about listening for a number to be called. read more

Comoncy has everything I look for in a cafe - plenty of seating, free validated parking, quiet, good coffee and food. It's tucked away, hidden behind the office building on the SW corner of Westwood and Wilshire (the entrance is off Westwood Blvd). I regret not coming here more often when my office was across the street. Comoncy catered all of our lunch meetings, but now that we've gone remote, we no longer use their catering services as often. I make a point to come at least once a week now. I like their salads and sandwiches, but my favorite item is their coconut raspberry muffin. Their muffin and latte will brighten my mood for the whole day. Service has always been quick and friendly. Note that they close at 3pm on weekdays and are closed on the weekends. Tip: The parking lot entrance is on Ashton Ave, just south of Wilshire Blvd. Parking is free for 90 minutes with validation. read more

I've been here a five or six times, usually for coffee and occasionally for breakfast. They are always a solid option. Cute outdoor patio, small indoor seating. No parking as far as I could tell. Service is okay, the cashier was nice enough. Food comes out slow so make sure to order ahead if you're in a hurry, or be okay waiting. I was not in a hurry so I didn't mind. I've always enjoyed the breakfast burritos but this recent time they did not have the salsa to go with it, so it was bland. We asked the cashier for salsa and he said "there isn't any, just hot sauce" as if it's something they don't sell, when it is, in fact, listed on the menu with the breakfast burrito. Not the end of the world, but tastes better with salsa. TLDR: it's a decent spot, convenient if you're in the Westwood area. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's better than overpriced Alfred. read more

Came right when they opened at 8am on a Monday morning. I was in the city for a conference at UCLA - I walked from the conference center. Ordered the breakfast burrito, which was awesome! It was relatively simple, but each ingredient tasted fresh and flavorful. We really don't have avocados like this on the east coast. Service was super fast (I was the only one in there, since it was so early). Ate outside on the patio, which was really nice. read more

First time here 04/25/2025. We're in the area for something else but we arrived earlier than expected. So we decided to find a spot to eat at that was quick and easy. Food: Thai salad and chicken sub. Super light and tasty for both items. Service: friendly staff and answered all my questions with patience and understanding. Ambiance: ok so the parking is horrible. I'm sure people who live here are used to the parking meters and expensive parking garage fees but not us. It's eye opening and a bit daunting. $3.50 for 15mins is extreme so we found metered parking. Much cheaper bcz we like to walk our food off. The eatery is behind the bank (fyi). Definitely a comeback spot (if we're in the area) read more

I had to come to Westwood for training and was dreading having to find some horrible, overpriced coffee to satisfy my caffeine addiction. Luckily, I found Comoncy! Comoncy is a cute little cafe that serves typical cafe food: breakfast carbs, salads and sandwiches. I was surprised to find that their espresso was DELICIOUS. It was bitter, rich, and chocolatey - just this wonderful, smooth, velvety texture. Their pastries are good, I could taste the butter in my croissant. Their arugula salad is amazing, add avocado! I wish I had tried their breakfast sandwiches because everything was so good. Service is very friendly and fast. read more

A great no frills no fuss cafe in Westwood. Not only do they have friendly staff, but their coffee and pastries are delicious. Be sure to come after 1:30 for 50% off pastries. Comoncy - Cafes Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Found this cute little gem of a cafe while walking around Wilshire. It's tucked away quite nicely, so the outdoor patio is pretty quiet. I'm on the hunt for LA's best breakfast burrito and this is a COMPETITOR. The thick cut bacon pairs so well with the gooey potatoes, and the cheese strings out with each bite. The kitchen was out of pico de gallo today, but to be honest I liked it without. I didn't use the salsa either since it was too spicy for my taste. The chagachino was good, but a tad over priced. Oh! The online menu also has lower prices than the in-person menu. read more

I had comoncy in Beverly Hills and the service and food was great but this location -- which I had doordashed and it was not good at all. I got the grilled chicken panini and requested gluten free bread but it felt like they gave me half gluten free and half not... as you can see in the picture. Also it says it comes with avocado -- which it didn't come with avocado at all. The sandwich was so oily and it didn't feel satisfying, there was cheap chicken breast inside and little tomato. So I think the service was poor in general and food was mediocre. I asked for scallion aioli on the side and they accommodated which was great but other than that the whole meal was pretty disappointing. read more

Absolutely delicious ficelle sandwiches. I got one of each. Efficient service and reasonable prices. Nice little patio with comfy seating.

This was the best salad that has ever entered my body. It was so good, sublime, flavorful, tangy, sweet and scrumptious. The flavors were so good and the chile lime dressing really pulled the avocado salad all together. All the flavors paired so well together. I also tried the matcha lemonade it was so refreshing. I'm giving this location a lower star rating than it deserves because of bad customer service from one of their staff members. She's not friendly and clearly does not know the menu at all. I ordered the avocado toast and per the menu it included eggs. After getting my order, I realized it didn't have eggs. So when I brought this to her attention, she told me that I neglected to mention eggs with my order. I told her that the menu states that its included. Instead of apologizing, she continued to blame me and told me that it's an extra charge and that I have to ask for eggs every time I order avocado toast. I'm even looking at their menu on yelp right now and it clearly states this order includes eggs. I'm also looking at a printed menu and it also states that it includes eggs. Now, if the menu has changed and eggs are now an extra charge, please update your menu all around to avoid any confusion (especially for those who go to the Westwood location regularly). I will say their coffee is pretty good though! read more
