Super cute little wine bar. We came around 6pm Friday and the place was pretty empty but they had a lot of reservations starting around 7. Luckily we weren't planning to stay long. We only got 1 glass of wine. Low lighting and vinyl records playing. A perfect intimate date night spot. They have a small food menu as well. Check out their website to see the style of music they'll have that night. It seems like it's mostly old or alternative style music. Parking: plenty of street or nearby parking at closed warehouse style buildings.

My "glass" of wine I received that was really just a half pour.

Updated review as the business responded to my initial review. The only thing "inaccurate" about my previous review is that this place does not serve cocktails, so I can admit that was an error on my part. However, this again reinforces my point that the bartenders and servers should have been more efficient at serving glasses of wine in a timely manner. As someone who has been to various spots that fall in the low, mid, or high end categories all over the world, I still maintain that the pours were below the standard pours served at most restaurants and bars, specifically in and around Atlanta and were severely overpriced. The service was also again subpar and I'm sure all parties can be content in knowing that I will not be returning and do not recommend this spot.

This place was has cool ambience and the dj was playing great music. Service started slow but overall our server took great care of us. The tomatoes and burrata were good, the broccolini was amazing, the pasta was ok, kinda overcooked. They have interesting wine options. I would come back.

Commune is a cool little spot that place vinyl and intimate. Reservation are a most when I went. Plenty of wine selection and the food is not bad. Perfect little spot to take it easy catch up with a friend or a date night. Favorite part is the rotating Dj and the sound system.

Really fun place. Great vibe overall. The food was delicious (coconut brioche and Syrian lentil soup were both amazing.) All-vinyl jazz set, warm atmosphere, great service and nice wine list. What's not to like? We will be back!

Smooth on the spoon with that soft creamy finish that makes soup feel a little luxurious instead of just warm. The feta on top cut through it nicely. Salty. Tangy. A soft shatter on the outside. Then that dense almond center that lands sweet, nutty, and almost plush. The powdered sugar on top made it feel a little extra in the best way. Not too precious. Not too sugary. Just enough to make it feel bakery serious. The kind of pastry that makes you pause after the first bite because now everybody else at the table wants some. The tea was better than good. Clean. Smooth. Calming in a way that made everything else settle into place. It felt intentional. Not an afterthought. Definitely the standout and the easiest thing to come back for. Forgot her name, but the woman helping me order was a lifesaver. Honest. Adorable. Knew how to guide without hovering. Gave the kind of recommendation you trust immediately. The room had that easy café buzz. Warm lighting. People lingering. We were lucky to be served by Hannah, who was kind and knowledgeable. She was an excellent help with guiding us towards the best drinks for our tastes and the food we were contemplating. She explained the menu in detail and helped us curate the perfect meal. I had an espresso martini and another one I can't recall the name of, but it had champagne in it, while my hubby had the Hello sunshine and the Between the Sweet Symphony. For dinner, we share the melt-in-your-mouth crudo, the crispy, but all-meat crab rissoles, and the dry-aged marbled grouper for the main. Every bite of each dish was so delectable. We ended our evening with a dessert that reminded me of an elevated apple pie and an amaro. We love it all so much that we want to come back and try other drinks and food items on the menu. This restaurant is an excellent addition to our rotation of drinks and food.

We snagged an early dinner reservation at 5:15 pm and surprisingly, people were already dining and they just got busier as time went on. We were greeted right away by our wonderful server (forgot her name though) and she asked if it was our first time there and if we were celebrating something. We answered yes to both and they actually brought us complimentary champagne, a sparkling non-alcoholic cider for me because I ordered a zero proof drink. Kimball House is known for their amazing bar program, so my husband ordered a Kimball House served with a side of olives and lemon twist on ice, like what?! I ordered a ginger & honey lime fizz to enjoy. For starters, we also enjoyed Hawaiian rolls, green salad and some oysters for my husband. The rolls and salad came out super fast, but there was quite a wait for our drinks and oysters that I didn't think they were going to come out. The rolls are a must-get here - they're huge and the strawberry preserve it was served with was delicious! The salad was actually split in half, which was a super nice touch and was plenty of serving between two people. We loved the dressing - it was nice and fresh. For our entree, I ordered a trout and my husband ordered the duck breast. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill. I was quite shocked that our whole dinner was only around $190, not including tip, which I thought was quite reasonable. We definitely recommend this place for date night or simply for delicious food.
