Came here for a friend's birthday. The inside is really cute love the aesthetic. The service was pretty slow tho, it took almost an hour to get our food and we came on a week day. The Brussels were definitely the best thing on the menu. We both got the burger it was alright but one came out super undercooked even tho we ordered them the same way.

Hadn't been here in a while. We sat out on the porch for lunch and it was quite pleasant. Had the burger special with a side of fries. Burger was fine, but a little overcooked and not a lot of flavor from the meat. Wish they had a few more sandwich options for lunch Service was excellent throughout.

Whenever we're in the area, Leon's is always an option! We were able to get a table fairly easily on a late Saturday afternoon. We opted for the burger, which never fails. Neither does the service...consistently top notch!

A Dirty Martini with 2 olives.
    Lauren A.

On Saturday evening I was served a dirty martini with 2 olives. Not only did it have 2 olives, the waitress that brought it to me SLAMMED it down on the table in front of me. And come to think of it, The bartender who purposely and knowingly prepared my drink with two olives took my order with a smirk on his face. People who miscellaneously and intuitionally do things like this get it back tenfold. So be careful. Cheers :-)

I am a fan of Leon's for a few reasons but the top two are the craft cocktails and the service/servers. On this visit, I stopped in for a few bites and to check out the fall cocktail menu. Let's just say, no major disappointments as usual. Now to the important stuff, reviewing what was consumed :) Rotten to the Core: 10/10 Perfect blend of spices and gin for a drink that has a kick but is smooth Beet's Motel: 10/10 Such a creative drink and loved the play on texture with the coffee The Bee's Knee's: 10/10, who doesn't love a honey type of sweet Now for food: Fries with Dipping Sauces (all ranked separately) Fries: 8/10 (average but nice and crispy, long) Garlic Aioli: 8/10 (needs more garlic but still tasty) Diabla: 8/10 (an amazing buffalo style sauce. Would be great on wings) Smoked Tomato Mayo: 10/10 (I HAVE NO WORDS. MUST TRY) Roasted Half Chicken: 7/10 (wish there was more of that Peruvian seasoning or juice) All in all, come to Leon's and meet some of the most unique and sweet staff while having some unique and thoughtfully crafted drinks! *Honorable mention would be the Brussels. Absolutely divine!

Adorable indoor/outdoor spot in Decatur. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and hospitable. I love how they change their menu often and run daily specials. We sat in their outdoor area next to a beautiful mural, and started off with some cocktails. Solid cocktail menu. After that we split the ricotta cheese appetizer. Good app, needed a little red or black pepper. Then I ordered the salad and roasted carrots. My gf had the burger and fries. The fries sounded so great on the menu, but were a bit of a bummer. They were uneventful and soggy. I was excited to try all these sauces that accompanied the fries. (The sauces were okay). A little let down with that one, but all and all a great experience. I will definitely come back.

    Cheers

Fries and cocktails oh my!! After exploring this beautiful little downtown area we needed just a quick bite before our late reservation for dinner. This has a lovely outdoor seating area where you can people watch and have cocktails. It's really pretty brilliant. Be prepared to have to make a difficult choice on the dipping selection for the fries. There are lots of yummy options. This was an excellent pitstop and if you're looking for a fast friendly place to grab a snack or dinner, definitely check out this place.

What a fun & relaxed couple of hours on their patio. Last time we came we were inside. Either is lovely, but the weather was nice so... Took a minute to get someone to acknowledge us, actually had to stop a server who was the SWEETEST & apologized profusely. She took our full order since we were literally so hungry! Wine came first, followed by our appetizer; Peppadews. Cream cheese stuffed peppers with basil. Cream cheese could have had more seasoning, but they were delicious!! Our entrees came- mom got a burger & fries and I (I love meat, but trying to be healthier this year) ordered the Tofu Burger with fries. Fries comes with 2 dipping sauces that are perfect! All staff members were everywhere & backing eachother up. All smiles too. For 2 of us having 1 small appetizer, full lunch meal & 2 glasses of wine was $99 plus tip. WINE is $$$ but a good pour. Oh, and plenty of fur babies today- welcomed in the patio. See pics- highly recommend.

Do y'all require or take reservations or is it just walk-in?

It's walk in only! But call ahead for large parties

    What are the vegan options?

Vegan? Honestly, their fries and they can make a meatless burger. Not exactly a place for vegans. Though they do have good salads. My sister is a vegan and would not eat here.

Where is the best place to park when visiting here?

Downtown Decatur has metered street parking and various pay lots as well as parking decks around town. We are right off the square at Church and Ponce! Look forward to seeing you soon!

What time does the kitchen close?

Hi Kiara! Good question! Our kitchen closes one hour before our bar/posted hours online, every day of the week. Thanks!

Stopped in for a drink or two, but stayed a little bit longer for the music and The vibes. I was there on a weekend night, and it was super chill and had a really good performance situation happening on stage. This one is a little bit weird because you have to do certain things to be able to get in. It's not like it's an escape room situation, but at the same time, it's a little active. Not overly active to where you would be taxed when you get there. But you have to go follow some instructions and once you get in it's all gravy! There's a lot of space for table so you can sit in front of the stage or you can sit in the back or the bar is which is also very pristinely kept. Or their ceas behind that. And there's even a bowl of alley somewhere in the cut. It is a really really good spot. The entertainment was on point. They were playing a lot of hits, lot of old school which I appreciate it. Loved it. The drinks were fired. The bartender had a lot of personality and it was super engaging. Just what you want from Superior customer service. I would 101% go back. It was a lot of fun and a really good vibe. We just happened to walk in off of humbug, but I actually might remember reservations next time. Actually sit in the crowd to enjoy the music. Loved it.

We were instructed to go downstairs with a paper slip and "deposit" it into a deposit box downstairs. Upon doing this, we were granted access inside! It was pretty cool honestly! We sat at the bar upon arriving and ordered some drinks. They have a really nice drink menu with different cocktails and all the other liquors. They also have a full food menu too. Some people around us got food, and honestly, it looked really good! Our bartender Joey, was awesome! He was friendly and answered some of our questions about the drinks. He even made us espresso martini shots!! Hats off to Joey! The vibes inside are very prohibition-y. They had live music when we went, and I think they have live music most days during the week too. Roaring Social is located in downtown Decatur, so not too far of a walk from many other shops/bars/restaurants. We ubered, so I am not too familiar with parking, but I think there are parking garages nearby and street parking. I would definitely come back here in the future!

We snagged an early dinner reservation at 5:15 pm and surprisingly, people were already dining and they just got busier as time went on. We were greeted right away by our wonderful server (forgot her name though) and she asked if it was our first time there and if we were celebrating something. We answered yes to both and they actually brought us complimentary champagne, a sparkling non-alcoholic cider for me because I ordered a zero proof drink. Kimball House is known for their amazing bar program, so my husband ordered a Kimball House served with a side of olives and lemon twist on ice, like what?! I ordered a ginger & honey lime fizz to enjoy. For starters, we also enjoyed Hawaiian rolls, green salad and some oysters for my husband. The rolls and salad came out super fast, but there was quite a wait for our drinks and oysters that I didn't think they were going to come out. The rolls are a must-get here - they're huge and the strawberry preserve it was served with was delicious! The salad was actually split in half, which was a super nice touch and was plenty of serving between two people. We loved the dressing - it was nice and fresh. For our entree, I ordered a trout and my husband ordered the duck breast. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill. I was quite shocked that our whole dinner was only around $190, not including tip, which I thought was quite reasonable. We definitely recommend this place for date night or simply for delicious food.

The wait staff was attentive, making sure we had our beverages and if we needed anything before the 2 arrived. Once they arrived, the staff gave us a few minutes to make sure the 2 had a chance to look at the menus. We ordered appetizers to start...corn bread, sage fried pierogies and poutine. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!
