Easily the favorite things I ate while in Atlanta! The BWD are so good and pair lovely with the ricotta toast. Such a good appetizer combo. We only did appetizers and drinks here because it is on the pricier side, but well worth it. Sitting at the bar, we got to chat with the bartender a bit too. He was friendly and even let us know of his own dry cleaning business which was great for my friend who is new to the city. For drinks, I can't recall the name of the pink drink. It's relatively new to their menu. It has passion fruit and is comparable to a Pornstar Martini x Pink Lemonade. The other is an Iberian Old Fashioned - a stronger smokey drink, but can definitely taste the bacon on the back end. If you want a table you may have to wait, but we were able to walk straight up to the bar. In Decatur from Texas for a work conference. Ibera Pig accommodated our party of 15 on a Wednesday night. Sat outside, nice ambience and the weather was lovely. They have happy hour from 5-6, discount charcuterie and red, white wine and sangria. We tried the charcuterie, peppers with goat cheese, bacon wrapped dates (yummy), gambas al ajillo, papayas bravas and pescado. Everything was tasty and definitely shareable as tapas should be! Husband ordered a Vodka Tonic & the literal pour was very under, even for a regular single. Husband & son ordered a Whistle Pig bourbon neat. Again VERY under poured- got a pic of this. My absolute favorite menu item was the Montadito de pera - whipped ricotta, pear jam, truffle honey, crispy jamon on rustic bread. It came in a 4 piece tapa, but I could have eaten eight easily. My friend ordered the Ravioli de pato (duck) but didn't eat it. I took it off her hands so it would not go to waste but i wouldnt order it again. The empanadas de carne (braised short rib beef) were ok. I wouldn't order them again. The seabass was just ok. I would have preferred a different sauce. I expected a thick piece of fish, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle but I received something very thin. The Nights in granada cocktain was tasty. I like coconut rum. The bartender said the sweetest sparkling wine they had was the brut from Spain. It was okay, but not sweet. I would like to see them get a moscato. I can't really comment on the parking situation because we walked over from the hampton. It was an easy walk. It looks like they're gonna have music there tomorrow. The misses and I love tapas, so I told her to pick between Iberian Pig and Barcelona. She chose Iberian Pig, and honestly, the service and food are always on point. We had reservations for 9:00 and arrived around 8:45. They seated us a little early, even though the place was pretty busy. It was a bit loud and crowded, but we still really enjoyed ourselves. We started with the yuca tots. They weren't my favorite--maybe a little too starchy for me--but the misses loved them. Next up were the lamb skewers, which were succulent and full of flavor as always. Then came the octopus, one of my favorites--perfectly cooked and delicious. We also ordered the patatas bravas, which were crispy with a nice spicy sauce, along with the empanadas de carne and gambas al ajillo--all solid choices. There was a limited-time item, a duck leg, which ended up being one of our favorites of the night. The sauce was incredible, and the duck was juicy and packed with flavor. Can't forget the beef short rib, definitely one of the top 5 dish's. Overall, Iberian Pig remains one of our favorite spots for tapas in the Atlanta metro area. While in the ATL the Mrs had purchased tickets to a show at Eddies Attic. She also secured a reservation for dinner before the show and I am so glad she did. The food, the setting, and the service were top notch. We had the chefs charcuterie board which had tow meats (chorizo and hamon) and two cheeses paired with very flavorful pickled vegetables and a nice mustard and blueberry honey mixture. We had several dishes to share with our table which included the Mrs. and the other Mrs ( my mom). Octopus, mushroom flatbread, broccolini, wagu burger, and pork tenderloin. After years of hearing such wonderful things about this restaurant I finally found my way there. I visited on a Monday evening for dinner. I was greeted nicely and seated immediately which was great. The ambiance is very nice, classy, and demure. lol. I loved the look at feel of the restaurant. The waiter was very attentive and explained the menu to us in detail. I started with a gin cocktail and it was good but I could barely taste the gin. It was a pretty drink but the flavors didnt come together well. For my second cocktail I had the Iberian old fashioned. This was a much better selection if you like old fashions. For our food selections I started with the calamari, the green beans, and the mushroom flatbread. The calamari was just ok, it was disappointing. The breading was seasoned well but the batter was soft and the calamari was spongy. The description on the menu says "crispy" calamari but it was not crispy at all. It was the opposite. The mushroom flatbread was delicious but it was unfortunately overcooked and slightly burnt on the edges make a few slices too hard to chew. Idk if that's how it's usually served. I doubt it. The green beans were undercooked and very hard but the sauce and crispy onions on top saved this dish. My friend had the ribs and they were delicious. If I come back I would order these instead. We got the seafood paella, potatoes, pulpo and broccolini. Unfortunately after finishing all our food they did not bring the broccolini out and we were told they forgot. Great spot! I really like this area of Atlanta! I love the little square with all the restaurants and shops, perfect for visitors / tourists! I did their happy hour wine which was $5 and really good. This was such a HUGE disappointment and one of the worst meals I've had in a long time and I love tapas! The first dish that came out was the croquettes. I all I could taste was the flour from the Béchamel. If flour can overpower ham, there's a serious problem in the kitchen. The next dish that came out was the empanadas de carne; they were absolutely delicious. I thought that this restaurant redeemed itself and I was excited for our next dishes. We received the king salmon next. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had the most beautiful, crispy skin. The veg set-up sounded great (succotash), but it tasted horrible! We couldn't even eat it. Disgusting! So by this point, I'd pretty much given up. The potatoes weren't crispy at all. Definitely nothing special. Again, for a Spanish tapas restaurant to not make perfect potatoes bravas, there's something fundamentally wrong going on in your kitchen. Everyone told me to order the grilled octopus. I absolutely love grilled octopus. Like the salmon. The octopus2-: cooked absolutely perfectly. The setup on the plate, tasted so bad! We took maybe 2 bites of it and stopped. Service wasn't much better. The hostess looked irked and ready to go (we did come in around 9), our server was in this seemingly autopilot "fake it until you make it mood." Went here for Valentine's Day, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were really attentive and friendly. They accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies very well. If you're vegetarian or have a peanut allergy you'll be vibing here. The sangria is delicious. Add some brandy if you want a more intense drink. Patatas bravas, artichokes, mac and cheese, burrata con tomato, and the broccolini were all excellent. Churros are great here, too. Can't wait to return! read more

The shrimp dish was incredible-the sauce it came in could be a soup-just delicious and the shrimp were fresh! Dates were fine-what you would expect but the LOMO(pork), yall..GET THE LOMO! So this spot it's in the square if you are in Decatur. It's a decent drink. Spot, has a lot of tapas and charcuterie items on the menu. They have pretty good drinks, I like the old fashion that they have there. It's infused with bacon so of course it can't be bad LOL. If you want something that's not rowdy or anything along those lines that has a decent crowd to it, this will be a good spot to go to. Parking is not free there so keep that in mind. There may be parking along the street and there is parking in the lot and there probably is a structure in walking distance. But it's just the square so there's a lot of things in walking distance so that should not be an issue. I parked it down the street, and it was like $4 for almost 2 hours of parking so it's very reasonable. I was there and was able to talk with the waitress and made a couple of new friends who are sitting next to me so it was a very social environment. Everybody was good and cool and peaceful and I had a couple of good drinks. You probably going to find a drink here under $15 or $16 so don't expect $5 cocktails. It's not that kind of establishment. But they will be good so just keep that in mind as well. Go on the menu and check out the happy hour, it may be worth going in to try it out for happy hour before you want to go in a dinner setting. I love the Pig! We usually go to the location in Decatur which is wonderful, but have also hit the location in Buckhead which is also great! Decatur is smaller and more intimate. It can get crowded so be aware. My servers and bartenders are always very knowledgeable of the menu and cocktails. Haven't had anything on the menu I do not like but my favorites are the pork cheek tacos and a good old charcuterie board. Their charcuterie boards are awesome. It's all about Ryder!!! I visited the Iberian Pig a couple weeks ago on a first date. It was awesome. And my date was very impressed. So, thanks for that :-) The whole place is super cool, the ambiance, the staff, the food, the atmosphere. Let's start with the greeters. We walked in without a reservation and they were very accommodating and found us a table upstairs. I would recommend a reservation as the place got very full, but I appreciated the fact that they sat us immediately. The atmosphere is busy yet intimate. There was a large group bachelor party sitting near us and they did not intrude on our evening in the least. The ambiance was delightful. Dark enough to be intimate yet, lively and energetic. The food was superb! All of it, every bit of it. Delicious! We had the Peppadew Peppers appetizer, which was stuffed with goat cheese and were so yummy. They were sweet and just a touch of spicy and were so good that my date said she was keeping the last one for her dessert...LOL. Then we had the Huevo Con Truffa (Braised Pork Cheek, poached egg, black truffle pate, Manchego) which melted in my mouth. And then a braised short rib, sorry, I cannot remember the name of the plate, but it was scrumptious! Each of our plates were prepared perfectly and were a little different than the usual presentation due to my food allergies. Which brings us to our server, Ryder!!! If the management is thinking of hiring a new trainer for the servers, just use Ryder. The service was impeccable! From the moment we were greeted by Ryder, to the moment we paid our check, Ryder was attentive but not intrusive, and answered all our questions with facts and opinions (really like this from a server). Ryder asked immediately asked if we had any food allergies. I answered yes, that I have Celiac, it was like a bat signal went up. The food safety police went into full gear. Ryder informed me what could be altered on each dish and what could be substituted. Then, as each dish was delivered to the table by a different food runner, they each explained that the dish was kept from cross-contamination, and if there was something with gluten, that they had let it separate and on a different plate. And I mean each and every staff member made sure to tell us what had been done to keep it safe for me. Wow! Fantastic training and amazing service. Ryder really was a treat to have been served by and I would absolutely come back and request to be served by Ryder again. All-in-all, it was a wonderful evening out and I plan on visiting again. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a couple small plates. I noticed my drink was always significantly less in the glass than the drinks my friends got. I was hoping the first drink was just a fluke, but for the second round of drinks, my friend and I ordered the same one and she had way more in her glass and mind was filled a third less. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Wednesday night. We were a large group of ~20 people so we sat comfortably in the corner as there were still empty tables around us. I tried their gambas which was similar to a shrimp scampi and thoroughly enjoyed. As with all tapas places, the portions are small so it came with two very small pieces of bread. They did happily provide more bread upon request and were quick the clean up any empty plates as we went along the meal. Mushroom flatbread tasted hearty and slightly cheese but I would define the bread to be more like a cracker since it quickly falls apart. It was similar for the dough they use for their empanadas where the dough was thinly rolled out then deeply fried. Mac n cheese was certainly cheesy and creamy but not my favorite. Overall, my friends and I had a good time. Our waitress was on the ball and friendly. From what I tried, I thought it was decent but not anything crazy. Presentation of the food and ambience was a blend between romantic and casual.
