I chose a charger capable of load managing the output during charging, so you won't necessarily be using all 48amps at a time depending on your house's current draw. That allows you to avoid costly panel upgrades. Even after explaining this to all the other electricians who I got quotes from, most of them still tried to upsell. I got one quote for $13,000 to install my EV charger from a well rated 5 star Yelp electrical company. Cee understood right away and was experienced with the Emporia charger. He worked with me on everything I needed, showed up on time and did the job quickly and cleanly. He dealt with the permits and inspection as well. I consider myself pretty handy and do quite a bit of DIY, I trust Cee and his honesty in the work he did and what he charged. That's tough to find in tradesmen and what makes him so valuable. Aomed was prompt in coming in, evaluating our old setup, and giving us several different options in formal proposals along with the prices upfront. He did not use any hard-sell tactics (i.e. no car salesman-like tactics). For installation, his team, led by Arnas, was prompt and did a superb job with the installation. There were some issues after installation (partly on us not knowing how the speakers work with Atmos), but Aomed gave us his mobile for texting. He responded to each issue, and a couple of times, Arnas and his team were out to fix them and show us how to operate our new system. Aomed and his team deserve the 5 stars. The only issue was when it took a while to get ahold of him while he was out of the country, but he responded back quickly as soon as he got back. I'm sure his business will grow as his reputation increases, and hopefully, he'll have a customer service person who could help with calls. The best thing is he and Arnas told us we could continue to contact them whenever we needed any help. (for example, I just sent Aomed a text, and he replied within seconds).

These people didn't know what they were doing from the techs to the sales people. One tech was switching out light switched and shorted the breaker because he didn't turn it off to begin with which shorted out my $5000 4K Sony projector WiHome said because they didn't sell me the projector they wouldn't cover the damage. Thankfully Crutchfield exchanged it even though the projector was out of their return time limit. CRUTCHFIELD great company! I should have fired them there. But... I wanted the job done. The tech for Wihome Control 4 wrote crappy code which needed to be redone after the fact. They also give me outdated and incorrect components to Control 4 which also had to be replaced by another company. It was one fuck up after another. Just a Trash company!!! Do yourself a favor go with a more expensive company you'll save money in the long run trust me! Only positive My sales agent was a nice guy though he kept on trying to sell me Triad speakers when I knew I wanted Klipsch. At the end of the day I have spent almost as much with another company fixing all their mistakes. And even today I am still finding mistakes as I try to connect my PS to the theater and can't because they installed once again the wrong components.
