We needed someone to install our Tesla charger and we sent quotes to several companies listed on Tesla's website. Buri was quick to respond, very fair with price, and really flexible with scheduling. The day of the service, our guy was on time, thorough, and even had a dry wall recommendation. Quick, quiet, respectful of our property, little to NO dust left behind. Oh, they wear booties!!! A big plus for those of us that don't wear shoes in the home. I was very impressed and very happy that we had such amazing work completed so quickly, we will definitely be reaching out to them once we're ready for more electrical work. read more

Not questioning quality of work on EV charger install, rate/fees don't make sense: Everyone is entitled to the rate they quote & I'm sure the work is great. However, if you charge double the rate the next highest bid among a total of 4 bids, working with Buri is a non starter. You don't have to be an electrician to question the rate... I'm sure their work is good looking at the reviews; no question on quality of work. Whatever high quality work these guys offer on a commodity job for any licensed electrician (EV charger install basement panel to garage), it's simply not worth it. Assume Buri relies on two types of customers. Those who pay the $75.00 quotation fee & feel like they are already invested in the job or those who are too lazy to get multiple bids. Why bother review if I didn't get any work done??? Sour on the $75 quotation fee paid. Other licensed electricians came for a free site survey... cutting my losses & went with another Leesburg based firm. read more

Great work done by Emmanuel installing my Tesla wall charger. No obstacle that he couldn't overcome. He understood very quickly the existing conditions and what he was dealing with. Also great response from Buri Electric with a very reasonable quote compared to their competitors. I like the fact that their website allow you to put in what you need and upload pictures for the quote and then let you choose a date and time to schedule the install once the quote was provided. Overall, I am very pleased with the work by Emmanuel and Buri Electric. Would definitely recommend them. read more

Best service electrician I have ever worked with. Emmanuel was very honest from the beginning and explained in detail what he will do and which walls he will have to put holes in and how he will cover it. He kept me informed of all details including an issue with my wall that made his life harder but he still found a way around the issue. And still charged me the same quote price! Very satisfied and would definitely recommend. read more

Emmanuel from Buri Electric was the consummate professional. Emmanuel installed my Tesla wall connector in less than 3 hours; which included running ~65+ ft wiring, installing conduit, and new circuit breakers. Before he finished up, Emmanuel walked me through entire install, ensuring I was satisfied with the work. He was kind, courteous, and patiently answered all my questions. I now have an electrician who I can trust with all my electrical needs! I highly recommend Buri Electric to my friends and HOA. Thank you Emmanuel! read more

Emmanuel came out the same day and addressed an issue our vehicle charging station. He was very professional, and his work was very clean. Emmanuel went to the store and bought the parts for the charging station, and fixed the unit all within 2 hours. We received a quote before the work began the same day. The price was on par with what we were quoted. read more

Buri Electric upgraded my house from 200 amp to 400 amp to accommodate the installation of two electric vehicle chargers. The price was reasonable but not the lowest. We went with Buri Electric because of the professionalism and knowledge during the walk through/estimate. He provided a detailed explanation of the process, pulled the permits, filled out the applicable forms for the electric company and it was a smooth process. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was amazing. Will be using Buri Electric on all future projects. read more

Lost power in one room at the house. I reached out Emmanuel and he was over in 30 minutes. Spend well over two hours trouble shooting the problem and finally found an issue in the panel when the house was built in the 80"s. No wall cutting. All detection done electronically. Emmanuel was thorough and explained every test he was conducting and why? Definitely a consummate professional. He fixed the problem and was more than fair in his pricing for the almost 3 hours he spent working on the issue. Definitely will be on the favorite list if needed. Five Stars all the way around! read more

I have used Emmanuel for all of my rental properties, my own home, and my parents' home. His prices are very reasonable and, most importantly, his work is clean and solid. He is a very sharp, respectable and respectful man and I would recommend him to any one. Details on some of the work he did for me: wiring chandelier from attic to bedroom, fixing confusing wiring (several times), installing lighting outside a home and throughout patio, and installing LED undermount and inside cabinet lighting for a kitchen. read more

Emmanuel was fantastic! He arrived right on schedule and was incredibly efficient and precise in the numerous jobs I had around the house. I will definitely recommend him to my neighbors for electrical work both big and small. While the paid estimate may be a turn off for some, his pricing is more than fair and straightforward. I can highly recommend Buri Electric for any needs. read more

Our 1st encounter with Buri Electric was summer 2015 when we called upon him for electrical help for our punch list post inspection to sell our house. He corrected numerous errors created from the original home build and brought several items up to current code for safety and usability. We were impressed with his punctuality, politeness, focus, and explanation of his work so we could understand what he was doing and why which made us comfortable with the associated cost. We were so pleased with his professionalism that we called upon the Emmanual at Buri Electric again when we moved to our new house. We were not disappointed. Continued courteous and professional service. Buri electric is our 1st stop for any electrical needs. read more

AC wasn't working - called croppe and they came out here and it turns out it was just the breaker tripped... next day ac wasn't working again due to the breaker tripping constantly. Called Emmanuel- he was here in about 15 minutes. Opened up the panel box and quickly found the wire was just barely touching. He fastened the wire tightly so it would stop tripping. Was happy it was done but he took some time to check the unit outside and noticed that the fuse in the panel was a 50 watt not a 30 watt that was recommended on the outside unit. He switched it over to the correct fuse. I've had work done on the house recently and I will be using him from now on for any electrical work I need done. read more

I got a light fixture put up for $120 dollars and his service was all fine and dandy except when he charged me I noticed on my credit card bill that he charged me 1200.09! I called him and he said that he had given me a refund, however I didn't ever get the refund! Instead i got charged a second $120 dollars. Now I have to dispute these charges with the CC company. What a pain! read more

Emmanuel was highly recommended to us. I needed some additional coax outlets in various areas of the house and also wanted ethernet cables routed to our home offices. Emmanuel was able to make this magic happen without tearing out the walls. He found a way to run the lines through the existing structure and leaving the drywall intact. Will definitely have him come back to do some more projects. read more

I needed my electric panel replaced, and after talking to a few other electricians and contractors, I decided to call Buri Electric for one last bid before starting the project. I sure am glad I did! Emmanuel came to take a look at the panel and gave me an estimate free of charge (I advise staying away from companies that charge a "dispatch fee"). Best of all, his estimate beat the next lowest price by $600 and he and his assistant were very polite, professional, and easy to work with. They took care of pulling the permits and dealing with the electric company and all inspections were passed with no problem. Everything went smoothly and I have no complaints. Being in a situation where you need an electrician is no fun, but Buri Electric made it as painless as possible in terms of both the quality of the services they provide and the price they charge. read more

UPDATE: Owner responded quickly and did refund the money. I chose this company based off of other Yelp reviews, but sadly was disappointed. I'm sure this is not the usual and perhaps would be more helpful with a different issue. I am happy with the way the situation was handled in the end. Awful service. I am having issues where my electric keeps cutting off. Electric company told me it might possibly be that the breaker is going bad, so I called to have the issue checked out. Quick response, came out the next day, HOWEVER, all he said was that the breaker looks fine and so does the plug to the dryer (which was the suspected issue). He didn't offer any assistance with FIXING the issue. NEVER gave us an idea of what might be going wrong. Just said "Looks fine" and took his money and left. AWFUL, unprofessional work. Would LOVE to have my money back. read more

I needed someone to come out asap for a power outage in a section of my house and Mr. Buri was able to come the next day. He was very prompt to our appointment, and was able to get the problem fixed very quickly. I was able to save $50 by purchasing his yelp voucher so that made the experience even better. We will probably call him again soon to have some old outlets replaced! read more

If you have a Tesla in the DC metro area, Emmanuel is the electrician to call for your wall connector installation. He is super easy to work with and the rare combination of an expert + perfectionist. I'm picky and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. I've had him come back for additional work: recessed lights, Lutron dimmer, TV wall mount, Cat6 cabling, speaker wire cabling, recessed outlet, outdoor lighting, whole house surge protection, circuit panel labeling, and more. Everything I throw at him he tackles with ease and the results are always perfect. read more

Buri Electric is fantastic! I needed some non-emergency electric work done and he came the same day and completed the work, making several trips to Home Depot to make sure it got done right. The next morning I blew a circuit by using a hair dryer and heater on the same circuit--dumb move--but Buri came out within 20 minutes of my phone call and fixed it. Customer oriented, professional--he has it all! read more

I recently purchased a home and immediately noticed some wiring issues with fixtures. Several switches worked outlets/fans in other rooms, there was no power in the attic and the previous owner had just done some really poor DIY electrical work. Enter Emmanuel. Without a doubt one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a contractor. He was able to come over the same day, after providing a reasonable estimate and completely redid all of the previous errors. He even looked at some other stuff I needed around the house and made some small repairs there as well. If you are looking for an electrician in Northern Virginia, stop reading and call Emmanuel! read more

Emanuel has completed a number of jobs for me with exceptional speed and skill, including a panel upgrade, completely wiring a workshop, adding new dedicated kitchen circuits, and wiring and mounting a TV. His professionalism - fulfilling promises, promptness, and courtesy - is unmatched. Even when a job became more difficult during the installation - discovering the distance between wall studs was atypical, or the trench line was rock and root ridden - Emanuel continued unfazed until the job was complete and did not increase his price! His prices are well below the big companies, and are a set price including permits, outlets, etc whereas the larger contractors tally each breaker and outlet per piece for both parts and labor. You cannot find better quality or prices. read more
