However, if you charge double the rate the next highest bid among a total of 4 bids, working with Buri is a non starter. You don't have to be an electrician to question the rate... Whatever high quality work these guys offer on a commodity job for any licensed electrician (EV charger install basement panel to garage), it's simply not worth it. Assume Buri relies on two types of customers. Those who pay the $75.00 quotation fee & feel like they are already invested in the job or those who are too lazy to get multiple bids. Spend well over two hours trouble shooting the problem and finally found an issue in the panel when the house was built in the 80"s. No wall cutting. All detection done electronically. AC wasn't working - called croppe and they came out here and it turns out it was just the breaker tripped... next day ac wasn't working again due to the breaker tripping constantly. Called Emmanuel- he was here in about 15 minutes. Opened up the panel box and quickly found the wire was just barely touching. He fastened the wire tightly so it would stop tripping. Was happy it was done but he took some time to check the unit outside and noticed that the fuse in the panel was a 50 watt not a 30 watt that was recommended on the outside unit. He switched it over to the correct fuse. I've had work done on the house recently and I will be using him from now on for any electrical work I need done. read more

Best of all, his estimate beat the next lowest price by $600 and he and his assistant were very polite, professional, and easy to work with. I am having issues where my electric keeps cutting off. Electric company told me it might possibly be that the breaker is going bad, so I called to have the issue checked out. Quick response, came out the next day, HOWEVER, all he said was that the breaker looks fine and so does the plug to the dryer (which was the suspected issue). Emanuel has completed a number of jobs for me with exceptional speed and skill, including a panel upgrade, completely wiring a workshop, adding new dedicated kitchen circuits, and wiring and mounting a TV. Even when a job became more difficult during the installation - discovering the distance between wall studs was atypical, or the trench line was rock and root ridden - Emanuel continued unfazed until the job was complete and did not increase his price!
