Colley Ford is crooked!!! I had a lease and returned it with the intent to purchase a car. I ultimately did by a car, a brand new mustang. The 1st issue... The overage in mileage was claimed to be waived and when I reviewed the numbers, they baked the overage fees (sneaking it in) into the new car. The 2nd issue...I financed the car with Ford and after they ran my credit, they gave me a decent rate that was dependent on my good credit, then increased the interest rate by 0.5%. Claiming the bank's numbers switched. Now, in the past, I worked in the banks, and Colley Fords statement is incorrect and blatantly fordulant practice. I reported the issue to Ford Corporate's Customer Service Department and they claimed that they don't deal with these type of matters. Talk about customer service. The 3rd and the cherry on top issue, was receiving a call from Nimbo, a GPS tracking Company. They called me to renew my GPS service Subscription. Ismael Gonzalez, the Colley Ford Salesman, lied to me last year by claiming the GPS was a 1 time fee for a subscription for life. After all this nonsense, I will never purchase a Ford again. I came in to have my car checked by an electrician because of electrical issues, only to not have them find the problem. On top of them not being able to find the problem, they lost the fob on my key set. They made me wait over a month and a half to get a new fob replacement. The person we had to deal with was hard to get into contact with during the ordeal.It was incredibly frustrating because I was unable to lock my car during that entire time. Trying to lock my car manually would set off the alarm which was one of the many reasons I went to see them in the first place. It caused a lot stress in that time frame! I highly recommend going somewhere else for any any mechanical issues and you might get better customer service somewhere else. read more

Don't understand how I'm being charged a diagnosis fee is they couldn't even diagnose my car. I contacted Kim heathers the customer relations manager last week via email and yet to hear back. Hell, don't bother buying a car from here either because the love they show to get that line signed ends after signature is captured. Bought my Ford edge here about 6 months ago. Sales experience, amazing. Service experience, horrible. Called a week ahead of time to have repairs taken care of. They checked out the warranty and said my rental was covered. I show up for the appointment, no rental. Systems were down and there was no way to verify my warranty. Didn't you check that the week prior? I was told I have to wait until diagnoses was done. Now I'm stuck at the dealership and need to get to work. I had to hassle the service department to give me a loaner so I could get to work and have a vehicle for my wife and 3 year old son to use. During that visit I was told what the issues were and given an estimate. Told diagnosis should be done that afternoon. No diagnosis for 3 days... I called multiple times as to why it was delayed. First call, "waiting for approval." Second call, "some of the repairs done." Third call, "Waiting on parts for the repairs that haven't been done." Fourth call, "Service rep not there." (Who cares??!! He isn't the mechanic fixing the damn truck! That shouldn't delay repairs.) Over a week later... I get notified the truck is ready. Um... No calls to ask me if I want the repairs done? Come to find out, the "parts that they were waiting on" were never used. I was just charged for diagnosis and told it's not worth fixing. First off, who the hell are you to decide that? Second, you lies about "waiting on parts" because those "parts" were never used! I'm paying extra for the warranty and I still won't use it here. This dealership is shit show. Last Friday my 84 year old mom & I walked in to Colley Ford to get information about leasing a car for her. We were VERY CLEAR what she could afford for a payment & deposit. Sales Manager showed her an Eco Sport SE. My sweet mom feel in love with it and we we're assured this deal could happen with the information we gave him. We even told him her fico score was 823 so there would be no issues with her credit. I requested some time for my mom to think about this & feel comfortable with the lease. I was told to please return before the 15th so he could make this happen. He promised free car washes & that he was going to try to throw in a maintenance pkg. 2 hours later I called sales manager to confirm my mom would like to move forward with the lease & if we could return on Monday afternoon. Monday arrives, my husband gets out of work early on a very rainy day from LA because my mom wants him to see the car. We arrived at the dealer and sales manager offers a totally different deal. We reminded him of my moms limitations, the conversation that took place with him & what he led us to believe. We showed him a promotional flyer he gave us so we felt comfortable this deal could happen. He became flustered & said I told you payment could go as high as $250. This was not true! I think this is where the disappointment & dishonesty hit us like a ton of bricks. He then called in someone higher than him to work with us. This guy was a real Jerk! He literally made fun of my moms name. He then poked at her when she told him she could not pay a penny more on monthly payment. Again my mom is a sweet 84 year old women who deserves respect. My husband became furious how we were being treated. We left the dealer very upset & another manager follows us trying to save the deal but he still is asking for more money from my mom. This is not the first time we purchase a car & understand the selling techniques of car dealerships but this time I didn't expect those games when I explained my mother's situation, I expected honesty & respect. As a women did they think we have no intelligence or maybe our hearing is bad. This salesmen had the ordasity twice to tell us & his peers he had told us the monthly payment could be higher. Kevin the service advisor needs to be retrained, I have gone to Colley ford twice now the first time I ended up having to call ford motor company and get a claim started to get it fixed properly at different dealer. This time I took my car in giving a second chance and no different, took all day with no call then I called and Kevin the advisor had no idea what was happening or what repairs were done just recited the recall to me and this is after we called a few days ago explaining the issue and that the brake fluid was already changed and Kevin himself stated we needed complete recall not just the brake fluid. Guess what all they did was brake fluid and stopped trying. The service manager gave us his card to call if the brakes fail again, hopefully without crashing, but not concerned about my 62 year old disabled mother is driving a car with brake failure due to a recall they won't fix. I would give my mother my car so she's is safe but she can't get in a truck. I have been working as service writer and manager all my life and this I would never do to a customer. read more

I brought my 2016 vehicle to Colley Ford for a broken seat and an oil change. I waited 3 wells for the part to come in to repair the passenger seat. The service advisor Michael did not call me when the part came in. I had to make several calls to the service department to find out if they had the part for the seat. I dropped off my car to have the seat repaired and an oil change. I called 4 days later to find out when my car would be ready. Michael told Me it was ready. I asked why he didn't call me to let me know that the car was ready. He responded by asking me if he had called me. I told him he did not. Michael decided that the seat was broken by me and that if would not be covered under my new car warranty. The seat repair was just under 500.00. He told me that I broke the seat and I would have to pay for the repair. The seat should be covered under the new car warranty. I also received very poor customer service. I would not recommend Michael or this dealership to anyone. I will not come back to this dealership. read more

What a disappointing experience. Horrible customer service from the very initial contact. Don't bother leaving a message with the receptionist because she won't deliver it. This dealer actually did a bait and switch on me...making sure to have run my credit first before I even realized they were trying to sell me another vehicle 8k more than the one I came for--even providing them the stock # to make things fast and easy. Never got in the vehicle I wanted, had to lease new at a price I didn't like. Convinced me I had to pay more--otherwise I'd be stuck with a credit inquiry for nothing. They embody what it means to be a shady car sales business and every reason I hate shopping for a car. Should have know when the person who referred me there is also a car salesman. I suspected its because I'm a single female, but there's no way to prove it. I will never bring my business there again. There are so many other good dealers. When I went to the dealership I was told they couldn't honor the lease deal listed nor could they do the sale. The manager then made an offer which he later recinded. I had to go to this poor excuse for a dealership because my Claremont ford went kaput.. there was a recall on the radiator in my 08 ford f250 so i took it in.. i received it a few days later noticing that they had scratched everything, around the engine and the radiator fluid was really low. they did not care what i had to say and said that is what has to happen. then i caught then trying to fill the radiator fluid back up with a water hose. as i ran over to them like a crazy person to stop them the tech said they did it because they were out of the proper fluid and if i wanted the real stuff i had to complain to the GM. the next day... so i did... Fred Colley said that they have no recollection of them using water instead of premium ford gold radiator fluid, and that i was making it up.. so i called the BBB... made a complaint... which goes no were.. so all i can do now is hope that my words will make an influence on you to never step foot on this dealership for any means of them making money off of you... it would be appreciated... read more

It was like I went back in time To the days when a man in a polyester suit ear F#€¥s you. I did my best to stay patient with them. No games just shoot me your price. The salesman looked at me as if I urinated in their plants. Hey look I said, I know the game, We don't really need to do this, do we? Didn't work, It just caused him to doodle frantically on that paper as if he couldn't control himself. Please I said Just give me your price. The fight was long. For a moment I thought I was winning. Until he began pummeling me with stories of how noble the dealership was. I couldn't handle it anymore. I began to loose my will to live. I thought maybe if I begin staring at my phone as if I wasn't listening? Nope, I could have been on the phone, it would of not made a difference. Finally he left to get the million dollar question answered, how much. I felt we were now getting somewhere. It took a little while, not too long, then he returns but not alone. He was being led by his manager and he didn't look fun. In fact, if I wasn't in a place of business I would have thought I was about to get mugged. The manager then basically asked me to leave. I guess he felt the need to do it himself. I said what?!!! You have got to be kidding! He came poised for a brawl. I know when arguing will serve no purpose, this was one of those times. So let me get this straight, your kicking me out just because I won't let you guys water-board me? I had to talk him down just to get an answer from him. I know I should have left at that point but I played nice and eventually did get a price. I understand people have the right to do business how ever they want. I was there to buy a vehicle. My family over the past like 30ish years has purchased three cars from this place and it was going to be a 4th but then some guy told me I couldn't afford a car that I asked to see (Focus Titanium) and refused to show it to me. The only reason I added a star was because my dad called the GM after I told him what had happened and complained. My friend came in here, struck a deal, after they (Colley) provided great service in making the deal possible.It was overall a very good experience, different from many of the reviews here. He signed the same day, within hours of walking in. Mind you, all the paperwork is set, he left with two newly minted cars. Then? Then he gets a call that the deal has now changed and his price/payments have changed. What the? I'd go as far as saying this is probably illegal and if my friend didn't need the car so badly we'd be in court. Quick Edit: I'm in the market for a car, my friends have bought 3 cars here in the last month and I was thinking of coming here as well, but I doubt that I'd feel very comfortable doing that after this experience. read more

This dealership is VERY deceptive! According to the representative, all of their cars come with LoJack WHICH IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE STICKER PRICE. An additional charge of approximately $1700 is REQUIRED. I told them I do not need or want LoJack but they said it is on all their cars and we have to get it. This option was NOT included on the paper / sticker price as an option, it is an additional charge, not listed. I had found the car I wanted at the price I wanted but it was later when they were about to run my credit and talk numbers that they disclosed that $1700 would be added on for LoJack - not already included in the price. DECEPTIVE! The person I was working with was rude to me and his staff. My friend and I ended up walking out, FURIOUS. read more

Regarding their service department: Since when does a brake caliper sliding pin go dry, on a 4 year old car?!?! This was their findings on my mom's 2010 Ford Flex, that is under their extended warranty that they sold us when we bought the car from them. Our mechanics at B&D Repair in Glendora (With a current 5-star rating with 62 reviews on Yelp) were in the process of replacing our brake pads & turning our rotors, when they noticed that one of the rotors had major wear on the inside of one of the rotors. Mind you, this wasn't both sides! They diagnosed that the caliper might be the issue. Since the car has an extended warranty, they suggested we take it to Colley. So my mom goes there Friday afternoon, with an already scheduled appointment to drop the car off over-night. She has the dealer's shuttle take her home, which they had her sit for about an hour before they even recognized that they forgot about her. This was actually strike #2 with their courtesy shuttle. The first time, she was the closest person to the dealership, and was the last one to be taken home, after about a 1 hour tour of dropping off everyone else, out in La Verne, San Dimas, and who knows where else. Anyways, it just shows you the levels of incompetence that this place has. When she dropped off the car, one of the mechanics mentioned to her that this is sometimes a normal thing. When is it ever a normal thing, to have a rotor unevenly wear, where as you need to resurface one side 4x more than the other, just to make it even again?! So after that mechanics blind assumption, the car was left over night. They call us up Saturday morning, and say that the caliper sliding pin was dry, and oh, they offered to do the brake job (of course), at a price $100 higher than B&D! They obviously had no concern as to the real problem, and just wanted to make some quick cash off of a brake job. We said thank you very much, and picked up the car. Took it back over to B&D, got the brakes changed out, turned the rotors, and now we are going to watch it like a hawk, as our extended warranty expires at 75k miles or 7 years, and we won't let them catch us with our pants down, as a few others have mentioned on here. Look people, the writing's on the wall. If it smells like sh*t, looks like sh*t, feels like sh*t, then it's plain and simple sh*t. No business deserves to last as long as these guys have, and I'm sure not one person who works there has ever even heard of Yelp, because they would surely not let the bad publicity go on for this long, without rectifying it. My truck seat has a blemish in it and is covered under warranty up to 36,000 miles. Second time going to this dealer. People DO NOT go to this dealer the Service department blows. My wife took her Fusion for a standard oil change and they (James Kirkpatrick ) said you needed a appointment. It was 2 in the afternoon during rhe week. I had to call and speak with a MGR to get the oil changed that afternoon. We puechased an Egde less then a month ago and the traction control light come on today. My wife took the car in for service and James Kirkpatrick told my wife they couldn't service the car today. It was only 2:30pm on a Wednesday and this guy wouldn't help her. Recently bought a 2002 Thunderbird from Colley. Numerous parts/items shown to be included with the car were "missing". We were assured they would be found and provided. It is now three weeks later and after numerous requests for info we are now being told "sorry, we can't find them" and no compensation will be provided.
