I would not recommend anyone to take their car here, insurance or out of pocket. I can't even express how disappointing this shop is. I took my car here as it was in an accident and insurance said it was fixable. Upon picking the car up they said there was a number of issues "they wouldn't fix because it was like that before the accident" which is untrue, I put thousands of dollars into fixing and maintaining my vehicle just for them to try and cut corners and not do what was needed to restore my vehicle. If they couldn't fix my car that should have been communicated to the insurance instead of trying to give me a car in HORRIBLE condition. My steering wheel shakes horribly the paint has faded horribly, they basically just fixed the tire and tried to say that was all that needed to be done. Not to mention when I tried to bring this up to the repairman he dismissed me and said "they repaired everything damaged in the accident" save your time and sanity and go ANYWHERE else !!! read more

I took my car here to repair a shattered window, and to inspect some wires that were pulled due to vandalism. The team here (Andy & Lily) handled my services with great care!! They listened to my concerns, and answered all questions I had about the process and going through insurance as this was my first time experiencing anything like this. My estimated repair date was about one week, but Andy was able to get it done in one day! They repaired the window, replaced the tint on it, ensured no electrical damage was done to my vehicle, and washed my car for me as well. I am extremely satisfied with my experience here! Some idiot looking at his cellphone rear ended my vehicle on the right rear quarter panel. On the surface, the damage didn't look too bad. Once I took my vehicle to Avalon, they explained there was more than likely a lot of internal damage that was not visible until they took things apart. Since the idiot's insurance was paying for my repair, I had Avalon repair my vehicle. Avalon communicated with me every step of the way, informing me of the damages found and the repairs being performed. My car was ready when they estimated, and when I picked up my car, it was as good as new. It's a bit awkward to have to be on here deleting a 5 star rating and now leaving a 1 star after using this company on 12-15 cars in the past 16 years. As well sending family and friends here. Never have I had an issue with any of my cars being worked on until now. As well have never had a bad experience with any of the workers, and or staff. This is all directly directed to a recent experience and management. I recently took my car in due to a scratch on the door and wanted to have it painted because I'm very picky with all my cars the way they look. aAter picking vehicle up I noticed some rattling in the door and contacted their office to have them take a look at it, I took the car back to the shop to have it checked, but the noise was not identified so I took the car home. The noise continues so I took it back to the shop a month later, and we both think the noise might be coming from the speaker. I was told to take it to the dealership. When taking the car to the dealership, the dealership open the panel and we noticed there was a couple brackets that were broken inside the panel. I know this is a newer car and the panel has never been taken off until the door Had to be fixed. So I took the car back to Avalon to show them the issue. I waited about 2 1/2 weeks to get a call back and them to tell me that management was willing to go half on getting the door panel replace. This mean I would have to pay for the other half which sounded very ridiculous. Being that I've never damaged my vehicle. That being said, I felt this was not handled correctly and after 16 years of working with Avalon, I have decided to cut ties with this collision center. Note: if this was broken prior to me taking my car in, it should have been noted by the workers, and I should have been notified! Or someone did it, and it was put back on not to be noticed. Do not trust your car to these people, they're ABSOLUTE CROOKS! Another driver hit me on the freeway, not bad, driver swerved into my lane and cracked my driver's side headlight and bruised up my bumper. I took it to Avalon, approved them to take apart my vehicle in order to assess the damage, and create an estimate with my insurance adjuster. Apparently there were some additional hidden damages to the frame and my adjuster deemed my vehicle a total loss. I went to Avalon, signed a release waiver allowing my vehicle to be towed to my insurance's property, and went to pick it up. When I got there, my car was absolutely destroyed. The people at Avalon completely took apart my vehicle and didn't both to put anything back together. When I saw it I was in shock, it looked nothing the way I dropped it off. I had a dent in my bumper and a cracked headlight, but they removed my bumper, my grill, both fenders, both headlights, and my side mirror. And what did they do with my disassembled car parts? They left them all inside my vehicle. On top of that, at some point they rolled down my drivers side window and my car must have died while they were operating, because instead of rolling it back up, they left my window down. When I retrieved my car from the tow yard in Riverside, my car was COMPLETELY full of dirt, leaves, and bugs. These people do not care about your property. It would have been simple to roll my window up before my car died or to even put in a tiny bit of extra effort and jump my car in order to roll my window back up. But they have zero regard for other people's property. I immediately called them to complain about my vehicle and the condition it was left in. I also complained to say that my side mirror which was removed by them were now missing and not returned with the car. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone said this "We're not responsible for any pieces from your car". REALLY!? I bring my car to your location to assess and repair and you then proceed to tell me that you're not responsible if the pieces you disassembled are now missing. I now have to pay $300+ for a new side mirror and installation at a new body shop because of these people's carelessness. There's zero respect or accountability from the people at Avalon. When I pick the car up there are some scratches on the mirror which I was surprised about but I worker buff them out for me. My car was hit in the back wheel. Supposed to replace the wheel and bumper. Got my car back with "wheel replaced" and the front wheel half damaged with red paint from curb. When I asked what happened they said "curb scrap". I had one nick in the wheel and because they put an x on that wheel that had the nick in it when I turned it in they considered it to be "what ever damage they want to put". Car came back with damage that wasn't there to begin with. Dara was the person that "helped" me. Def video you car and record what it looks like when dropping off so you have evidence!!!!! I was highly disappointed when I came in to get an estimate on my car. A gentleman named Dara (I think that is the correct spelling) did the estimate. He wanted to charge an astronomical amount for a simple headlight replacement and paint job from a collision. I waited over 30 minutes to get this quote, and he didn't even bother explaining why half of the stuff listed on the quote needed to be replaced when they were not damaged. I was quite disappointed when I picked up my car. They completely destroyed the interior with fine dust everywhere, including vents, buttons, leather seats, you name it. The whole car (black interior)was white on the inside, including the trunk! I've spent over 3 days with detailing, but the dust just keeps reappearing from every opening. The workmanship of the repairs on my truck is spot on. The body lines are followed, gaps between the hood and fenders look as it did off the dealers lot when it was new. Simple plastic liners and the plastic retaining clips are typically an oversight, but every single one is in place. Headlights are aligned. Alignment of all these parts isn't a hard job, but without precision and the know-how can easily be askew. CLEARLY, the craftsmanship required in taking the time to see out these small details is important to them. WORK WAS COMPLETED BY THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE (which was reasonable) COMMUNICATION WAS PROMT AND ON POINT. TRUCK WAS HANDED BACK TO ME POLISHED AND CLEAN (which seems like a no brainer but there are *some shops* out there NOT interested in taking time to do some of the smallest things that leave the biggest impressions) ALSO THEY SEAMLESSLY WITH MY INSURANCE (they handled all communication with them, which was a huge weight lifted for me ) From the intake process, body work, suspension & alignment, paint, and delivery back to me. I have a brand new 2018 Ford F-150 and I have unfortunately not had the best luck with this truck and I have had it less then a year... with that being said I was VERY picky as to where I was going to take my 40,000 dollar truck to make sure it looked EXACTLY like I bought it. I do have to say that overall, my experience here was a positive one. I was rear-ended less than 1 week ago and I already received my car with bumper completely repaired. Ofcourse, I was frustrated to have to even take my car to a collision center for repairs to begin with... However, they made it better for me. The start process was easy. Rental car provided by Enterprise was there and met me at the collision center at my scheduled appointment time. Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Steve went above and beyond to get my car back to me on time. We had arranged a Tuesday afternoon by closing time. He was willing to wait at the collision center 1 hour AFTER closing time just to accommodate me and my work schedule. I appreciate making an unpleasant experience after being rear-ended so smooth and seamless. Not to mention, my car is 100% back to normal. Bad! Really bad!! I took my car in as this was the preferred shop of the insurance co. for the guy that rear-ended me. 5 days later they tell me my car was ready. Get there to pick it up and the paint on the back bumper was terrible! It was a joke. There were visible hairs and pieces of sand stuck in the paint, on top of the lines not being straight. I complained and was asked, "do you know how hard it is to tape a bumper in straight lines?" It was about 5 minutes until they closed and I felt pressured to take my car. The next business day I called and explained the problems... I took my car back in and a week later, same thing! At that point, we got the claims adjuster more involved and the body shop manager then told my husband "we can do it again, but it will probably be the same. Received pictures, text messages, and whatever I wanted throughout the process and they even fixed a few things that they didn't have to, but really went above and beyond.
