He was very honest and prices were very comparable to Patrick's. He was also very quick. I got an oil change, changed my brakes, and air filter. To get straight to the point, this is an honest auto repair shop. I had the front and rear brake pads replaced and got a synthetic oil change. There was an oil leak coming from the oil filter area. The mechanic at USA Auto Service told me that the previous shop I used likely changed only the oil without replacing the filter. If a filter is reused without being replaced, it may not function properly and can cause leaks. The filter was very dirty. Please check the photo. Normally, you trust a shop and leave your car with them. But I was completely scammed. I'm planning to take my wife's car there for an inspection soon as well. Previously, my wife had an oil change at a dealer shop in West Covina, and after just one month, the oil started leaking. They kept contacting us to sell the car. Honestly, it's hard to find a trustworthy repair shop. It feels like many shops only see customers as money. Personally, I highly recommend USA Auto Service. At USA Auto Service, I was able to stand next to the car and check everything myself, and they explained everything in detail. Needed an oil change a little over due they offer a great price and very nice and informative. They told me that where i went last used barrel oil for their oil changes and that it's essentially used oil that is filtered to use again. They only use bottle oil here so it is always new oil and better for the engine. Amir did a quick check on my breaks and tires letting me know that the back break will need replacing soon and that i should replace one of my tires. He does the oil changes in front of you and is really a quick about it adding air to your tires as the oil drains. Great service and quick. I will definitely be coming back. read more

SAVE YOUR CAR AND DO NOT COME HERE. If I could give zero stars I would. I have been coming here for quite some time which is why I feel the need to explain my situation. I will never come back to Amir for any future mechanical issues. I came in due to my ac not blowing out air (Amir supposedly changed my compressor a year ago so this was strange) and I needed a replacement belt. I notice no change to my AC and less than two weeks after getting my belt replaced as I'm driving down the freeway the belt comes loose under the hood and I need to get my car towed. I take it to an actual mechanic shop (not just one guy) , Associated Automotive Service and I am informed that it is the tensioner that needs to be replaced and should have been replaced when the belt was. Unfortunately they also inform me that the bolt is completely stripped due to a faulty job from Amir. Upon further discovery the shop finds an entire paragraph of issues that were caused by Amir. Seeing as I drive it consistently for work providing in home therapy to autistic children I am now without a car and SOL. Amir is refusing a refund. If you can't do the job at least be honest! I am editing this review for an update after my car has been in a legitimate shop, Associated Automotive Service, for the past 5 days. These are the issues within my car caused by Amir. I came in last minute with my 2019 Honda Civic for an oil change. It was due at 15000 miles and I came in at 14927! Amir (Andy) answered my call right away and we had set up for him to help me change my oil. Normally I would try and do this stuff at home but I got lazy and decided for someone to help. Amir was helpful in choosing the oil, from looking at the reservoir cap I knew I was in good hands. Amir was also very thorough with some inspecting of my car, he ever found the intake filter that was missing (I took it out lol). All in all great service for the buck! Zero stars for sure. I've been taking my VW Beetle for over a year to Amir to be serviced. But I didn't realize I was being scammed the entire time. Not being provided with receipts, the dishonesty of Amir stating he puts OE parts into my car but instead aftermarket, & straight disrespect. He would always interrupt me as I would state my concerns to him. Tells me he doesn't care about what I have to say. Not to mention, he got extremely defensive when I asked him to verify that the water pump he was going to replace would be from "Volkswagen" like he said. Or at least OE with a part number to verify that it has more than a ONE MONTH WARRANTY. Which certainly wouldn't be the case with Volkswagen. After calling many Volkswagen dealerships in the area, he doesn't even have an account with them!! I work so hard to maintain my vehicle to be scammed of low quality parts & service. Do not buy USA Auto's Groupon oil change coupon. It is advertised on Groupon as $49 for full synthetic oil change, and it is even repeated in the fine print. This is false! Once you get there they tell you it does not cover synthetic oil. They still charge you $85 on top of the $49 you pay for the groupon. I would recommend calling USA Auto before you buy the groupon and find out if they will honor the groupon for full synthetic oil. If so, document the person's name and date. read more
