I recently purchased a used car and took it over to Brian Woods Automotive for a full check-up. I dropped it off after hours, left the key, and asked them to change the oil, check the brakes, and go over the entire car to make sure it was safe to drive. When I called the next morning, they had already gotten started. The oil change was done, they told me the brakes were in perfect condition, and that the car overall was in excellent shape. The only thing they recommended was new windshield wipers. I truly felt they were extremely honest, which is hard to find these days. They could have easily suggested unnecessary repairs, but they didn't--and that says everything about their integrity. Everyone there is so friendly, and I've taken other cars to them in the past with nothing but great experiences every time. I wouldn't trust another mechanic more than Brian Woods Automotive. No one happily visits an automotive shop with their car. It's always out of desperate situations for someone to fix the problem. I was so grateful to call them and speak to Wyatt who helped me right away over the phone with solid advice. He was also very responsive via text and reassured me that they can try to fix the problem. He even provided me quotes for services I was requesting. My car wasn't driveable and I had to pay for it be towed so I appreciate that he was able to help me over the phone and provide solutions before I towed it to them. I needed my rims to be repaired and to put new tires on. I sent Wyatt pictures of my tires and he was able to get the right person for the job to repair my rims. They were able to make the job a lot affordable (repair the wheels and make them look good) than if I were to have them replaced at the dealership. They also allowed me to get the tires I wanted and bring it to them. Most importantly they didn't make me feel less than for being a woman and taking care of the problem. Jim explained to me what he found out about my suspension during alignment and after I picked up my car, Wyatt told me if I'm having a problem I can always come back and they can connect me with someone if they need to. The shop also conducted the search for additional issues such as servicing and brakes. But the most important issue with my car was a nagging problem of lurching from a standing start. If you want honesty and integrity, this is the place to take your automobile. Been going here for years with all of our cars and they've treated us very well. Not the lowest prices, but worth it to have peace of mind. They also give a 2 year warranty on many of the repairs (I'm guessing not on brake pads, etc). A friend of ours had taken his car there many years ago and had a few repair items on his car. He threw in a non-operational air conditioner (even though it was working fine) to test Brian Wood's integrity.
