i have a 2012 ram 1500 hemi 4WD i took my truck in for an EVAP smoke test because i spent about a month straight myself trying to future it out and never could, i spoke to Aaron about everything what was planned out along with that i've had the same "service 4WD" light that has been turning on and off every bump i've hit for the last 4yrs i've had the truck - Martin ended up fixing the EVAP prob by finding a hose that wasn't connected and pulled way out of place, and fixed some electrical plugs on the 4WD transmission but the problem came back a few days later -also before i left the first day TMC ended up washing my truck which was cool the second time i dropped off the truck it was to replace the 4WD transmission actuator completely and it ended up fixing the problem completely, Martin ended up taking me to the back shop and we crawled underneath the truck and he showed me exactly what was going on under the truck and what he replaced everything was reasonably priced out i think, and on top of that Martin ended up teaching me first had a few things about my truck, i'll be coming back here again forsure read more

I'll pay for the diag, takes 10-15 minutes tops." Him: refuses to move, refuses to look, basically treats me like I'm trying to sell him oceanfront property in Arizona. I left wondering if "customer service" is now Latin for "get lost." Scene 2: TMC Auto Repair (literally two minutes away, same day) I used to go to this shop years ago when it had a different name. Now it's TMC and let me tell you -- it should be called TLC because that's exactly what they give you. Walked in frustrated and Martin greeted me like a human being who mattered. He listened to my Midas horror story, laughed with me (not at me), and said, "Let's actually look at it." One of his techs pulled the door panel in like 8 minutes and... drumroll... the motor was bad and there was a broken plastic piece in the regulator (exactly what I told Midas Guy, who apparently moonlights as a psychic but forgot to charge his crystal ball). In life, there are 'Argh!' moments that come your way, like when your car breaks down or you encounter engine trouble while driving. Family is out of town and you have no one there to help you. After contacting the towing company, I started searching for a shop to take my car to. I called several shops, and TMC Auto Repair was one of them. I have talked to Martin, who I think is the owner. He listened to my situation and showed sympathy for what I was going through. He was very accommodating, sent me the shop's location and detailed instructions on where to park my car and drop off the keys, especially since they were closed for New Year's. I truly appreciated how he answered my calls, even on holidays. Martin kept me updated with calls and texts once they started working on my car. He even expedited the replacement part, which had to be ordered and shipped from California. He understood that I still need to drive out of town. Labor and parts were priced accordingly. I was really happy on that day when he called up to let me know my car was ready for pick-up. Martin even waited for me beyond closing hours, as I was still waiting for my ride to the shop. Had suspension maintenance work done at a different shop and a month later a ball joint snaps and my tire just about came all the way off. Collision place didn't want to work on it because its an older truck (2002 Dodge Ram) and couldn't get parts. They told me to get the parts and after some time (lagging on my end) I finally get around to ordering the parts, but now they dont want to work on it because it's not original manufacturer parts. I search around online and come across TMC with great reviews. I need to have my truck towed asap and decide to stop by TMC on my way to have my truck towed. They worked overtime the regular hours, which I appreciated, and even when I forgot some parts that I purchased that didn't fit, they called me the next day to pick them up. I paid close to a thousand for those 2 parts alone and really appreciate the honesty. When I drove my truck away about an hour past closing time, I could see the team cleaning up and getting ready to leave for the day. They were full of genuine laughter and smilies. When I called you about your alternator failed again last month, merely after 4 months. Your first reaction was 'Yes, we can replace it but there could be other electrical issues that we need to take a closer look, that could be the reason caused the alternators go out so easily.' You did not acknowledge the part quality that you installed was the problem, even though you know they are not the quality parts you provided, and that is why you are willing to provide the warranty because you know they are cheap junks, which fail often and could fail anytime. And once they failed, you would point out other things are actually the problem so you can do more repairs on those poor returning customers. Behind your charming appearance and smiles, that is the game that you are actually playing. I am not confused at all. From your reply, I am now giving you the lowest rating for the shenanigans that you are operating for your shop. Dealership found worn bearings and sway bar links during routine inspection for my wife's car, but quoted too much and had other unnecessary recommendations. Martin was very good in responding and was able to do the work the same day we communicated. Price was average, so not cheap but still much better than the dealership. No problems so far.
