Roni and his team always give you a good and honest service. Price is always reasonable. I have been coming to Roni for last few years now for all my cars issue. He can work on other cars beside Honda. Mine are Mazda. With independent shop like Roni, you try to save on the labor cost compare to dealers. read more

I was given a reference by my aunt and her neighbor about Roni and Htek. She has been servicing her cars for more than 20 years here. She loves his caring and quality service. Now I know why. I saw the Honda dealer and received a diagnosis. They don't repair they only replace all?!?!!! Are you kidding me. I understand engines as I have a diagnostic machine and how this engine works. Roni was sweet, fair, and understanding about how he was to work on my car. He did the job for about half of the dealer. My family has raved about him for years. Stop on over, you will be happy. Thanks Roni!! See you! read more

H-Tek Motors - Auto Repair Near Me - Rowland Heights, California

WARNING.....Do NOT take your car to this mechanic. If I could give zero stars on here I would. They SCAM customers!!! Roni the owner appears to be knowledgeable. However, delays finding the main car issue to just keep increasing the charges to the customer. Fixes things on the car that is not the main issue and says it needed it. Such a strategy in his part. He is suppose to solve the problem of the car since he is the specialist in Honda right?! Walk away and go to another mechanic who will be honest and reliable. This business has all 4-5 stars reviews in the past, it definitely has changed. They should be ashamed of their dishonesty! Roni you are a disappointment! Shame on you to scam people out of money that really put their trust in you to fix their car. read more

Always does a good job and is always up front with what needs to fixed. Reliable as always.

This shop accepts the CarMax service plans for the same deductible as if you were bringing it directly to CarMax. If your local, it's great to not have to bring your vehicle all the way to Monrovia or Buena Park, especially considering how long it's takes to get a service appointment at one of those locations. The team is is friendly, easy to work with and work quickly. I'll be back. read more

Been going here for around 4 years now and I love it!!! They don't take advantage of you, like the other bigger auto companies and they are fast, cheap and great customer service. read more

I don't think I've ever had a better experience. I never seem to have the best of luck with people who fix my car, whether it be just a standard oil change or fixing a scratch. They tend to be rude, overpriced, and/or just plain do a bad job. However, over here the woman at the desk is super sweet and she knows the work just as well as the mechanics. She let me know how the process would work, the price (with no hidden fees unlike most places), and exactly how long it would take. Got in at 5, out by 5:20 for the oil change. Cost only $29.95. This place will officially be my go-to for oil changes! If you dont like long posts, here's the run down: Pros: good manners, they don't have hidden costs and do things to your car without permission, and they do it quickly. Cons: None, but bring something to entertain yourself during the wait. read more

First experience here and the staff greeted me with a friendly smile and addressed my concerns in a prompt manner. I typically do my own service on my vehicle, but have been way too busy with work and other task. The shop owner, Roni, is a friendly guy, who will give you fair prices and honest opinions. The shop is located east of Nogales on Walnut/Gale. read more

I have taken my car here for maintenance a few times, and the service was ok, not great. i went in early this morning for what should have been a quick oil change. walked in, nobody was in the reception area so i waited a few minutes. went outside to look in the garage, nobody was there so i walked back in the reception. two guys walk to the garage and see me in the reception. they just kept walking to their job, i guess. i waited a few minutes, and knocked on the wood to maybe get their attention. they ignore me. i wait a few, waved at one of them and his response was literally " WAIT!" to which i replied f you then and walked out. took my business to R&N Complete Auto Repair on Valley, where I got very professional service. read more

Can't believe all reviews. I had a horrible experience for trying to replace my engine mounts (my car was vibrating badly). Paid Roni $800 or so dollars and nothing changed! I just took it to another mechanic and they told me that they did replace a mount but it was a lot shorter (meaning it was squished down either because the it was too soft or was used.) Aftermarket parts I would've been fine with it if it atleast solved problem! They didn't bolt down another mount correctly so the vibration was pretty much the same! Roni just said because my car has been in an accident before. I blew $800 here!!! ..and when he tells you how many things your car needs, please be aware! My new mechanic was able to tell me exactly which mount needed to replace and charged me less than half than Roni, where as Roni told me I would need to get atleast 3 mounts PLUS a couple of transmission mounts replaced, which none of them had anything to do it! Roni and crew are the best. Honest and courteous too! My entire family have been getting our vehicles Serviced here for 15+ years. Be reassured you'll be treated fairly at HTek. read more

Came here for a tire alignment since I felt like I could trust them with the positive reviews. The place looked very clean and to me that's a plus. Now I'm thinking of returning to this place to figure out watever it is that's making my front drivers side wheel wabble at around 40mph... I gave it 4 stars because I felt like they did a good job and the workplace was clean. Seemed to know their stuff. I will give it its 5th star once it fixes my problem :) read more

Be careful when this mechanic suggest other repairs on your car. He over charges on car repairs. If you need to have your car repaired, be more specific in the repairs that needs to be done. He will give you an exact repair cost. Just don't allow him to do additional repairs on your car. Give your self more time to call other repair shops to get repair quotes. read more

Went in for an oil change plus new wipers without an appointment. Total came around $55 which I think is pretty decent. I like how I didn't feel like I was getting scammed especially since I am a girl. It took about 30 min longer than he said it would but I understand, I didn't have an appointment so I wasn't too annoyed by that. I am definitely coming back here. They don't give me that shady vibe and I feel comfortable here. read more

I used to bring my old Acura Legend to this places for the past 15 years; however, the Acura Legend finally break down after 288,000 miles and was replaced by a Honda Accord and Honda Civic for my children. After my son's Civic need a timing belt changes, I was surprised it was after market parts. I was so surprised that they did not use Genuine (OEM) parts anymore and after talked to the them, I was told it only offer Genuine (OEM) parts on Request only and the cost would be much higher than quote, which is a change of the policy compare when H-Tek Motors starts many few years ago. I was disappointed due to the quote of repairs are not Genuine parts. I looked into my son's Honda Civic now and I able to local a Mitsubishi alternator belt due to change of water pump last time. If I know, I wish I would be told that I have a choice of cheaper after market parts or more expensive Genuine (OEM) parts. All those time, I thought they have good prices on services repairs but I was comparing Apple to Orange. The cheaper service repairs from H-Tek Motor is due to after market parts. read more

Came in for another A-1 service. Ronni was there, bright and early @ 7:30am. I informed him why I was there. He asked for my keys and went to my car and verified the electronic service reading. I let him know I had a service promotion postcard from him from 2015, that I received after the last service. Although it was expired he still honored it. Had to use the "facilities", typical condition of a mechanic shop, a bit icky (reason for not getting 5 stars). However super happy that it was available for the customers to use. After the service was completed Ronni reviewed the results with me and gave me his opinion about when I would need to address the items that were wearing down as a result of just the normal usage. I really appreciated his customer service and that of his mechanics. read more

I have a newer Civic and recently noticed a weird screeching noise whenever I put my car in reverse. I usually take my car into my brother's shop in Sacramento, but now that I live in SoCal, I'm in need of a trusty local mechanic. I took my car in without an appointment on Friday afternoon. Roni, the owner, was helpful and didn't at all give me that shady vibe. His assistant quickly performed an oil change, and Ron diagnosed my car as needing new brake pads. I guess the funny noise was the sensor going off informing me I needed to get those changed. Anyway, Ron told me it would take a couple hours and I was prepared to wait, but he graciously offered me a ride home and to pick me up when my car was ready! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I took a screenshot of the invoice to my brother up North, and he told me the price was fair. Ron goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Thanks, H-Tek! Two thumbs up! read more

My family has been coming here for years. Roni and his team provide quality work for affordable prices (: Plus they don't keep you waiting like other places. I've been taking my cars to H-Tek for almost 10 years now and i would not bring it any where else. Roni (Owner) is a great guy who is the most honest mechanic i know. My Lexus is just about out of warranty and it too will be going to H-Tek. read more

I have been coming to H-Tek probably since Roni opened. I was struck with how totally honest he is and how qualified his staff is. One of the best in the area. Honest mechanics with good work. I've taken my car for years now and they've taken care of it without fail.

If you compare their price with Diamond Honda Dealer , they are probably 25 % cheaper, to West Covina Honda 10-15 % cheaper. But they will charge you a lot for other service item if you do not check the price. Do not say yes to every item they recommend you to change. check on the price with the dealer first read more

Great service, I moved out here in 1996. Started having my car serviced at H-Tek then. I still go there today & you should too. Honest, trustworthy and Excellent service. Put it this way my car has 400k + & still runs like it did when I bought the car brand new. read more

Read My HORROR Story!!! I took my car in for a routine transmission service.(seal, washer, fluid change) They kept my car for six days before Roni told me they dropped something into the transmission. Roni said the transmission must be replaced and he will offer me a special discount price of $2000. Instead of trying to remove the pieces the proper way by opening the transmission, they try to cover their mistake by driving the car for over 30 miles and hope the noises will go away. Now my transmission is permanently damage and H-TEX refuses to accept any responsibility. Roni told me "I'm sorry, but things happened" and he is not responsible for the mistake. I can't believe how incompetent and dishonest they are. You have been warned!!! Now I have to recover my damages in court...what a mess. Wish me luck!!! read more
