My car recently started having major issues and I found Michael through a coworker. Honestly, I…read morereally wish I found him sooner. I've always just gone wherever was convenient for car maintenance, but after bringing my car to him, I realized how many things were overlooked over the years by the previous shops I went to. My coworker has been going to Michael forever and her older Toyota still runs insanely smooth, which honestly says a lot. What really stood out most was how caring and genuine he was. My alternator was failing and even though he was clearly busy, he still squeezed my car in because he knew it could become a safety issue. That meant a lot to me. He also worked around my schedule and let me drop off early / pick up late, which I really appreciated. Hard to find mechanics nowdays that are not only knowledgeable, but also honest, communicative, and actually care about their clients. Really grateful for the help and I'll definitely keep coming back!

I had a truly outstanding experience at TB Auto Service Repair and want to give a heartfelt thank…read moreyou to Ken for his honesty, professionalism, and generosity. I brought in my 2007 Kia after the check engine light came on, just before it was due for a smog check. After speaking with Ken on the phone, he kindly scheduled me for an appointment the very next day. Ken ran a diagnostic by hooking up my car's system and identified issues with the oxygen sensors not reading properly and a problem with the catalytic converter. To help me understand the potential repair costs, he went the extra mile by using two different systems to compare parts and labor pricing, trying to find me the most affordable estimate. In the end, the cost--close to $1,000 for the oxygen sensor-related issues and over $3,000 for the catalytic converter--meant the car wasn't worth repairing. What I appreciated most was Ken's transparency and integrity. Instead of pressuring me into costly repairs, he candidly recommended that I consider buying a used car from CarMax with an extended warranty and even gave helpful tips on how to shop smart. He also pointed out that the steering wheel cover I had installed was too loose and could be a safety hazard--something most people might ignore, but he made sure to flag it for my safety. The service was thorough, thoughtful, and completely free of charge. Ken took the time to walk me through everything and patiently answered all my questions. Knowing that he was one of the first Mercedes and Lexus technicians sent to Germany and Japan for top-level certification speaks volumes about his expertise and professionalism. If I ever have car issues again, Ken and TB Auto Service Repair will absolutely be my go-to.

Just like multiple people have said, this business is honest. They will not charge you…read moreunnecessarily or upsell you. 20 minutes into a road trip with my friend and dog, I smelled alcohol coming through the AC. Thinking it was my coolant leaking, we came across this auto shop with the fear that our trip would have to be postponed or just excruciating driving through SoCal without AC. But the idea mechanics inspected my car thoroughly and said nothing was wrong. It took some trust on my end to proceed with the trip after. And the smell somehow slowly dispersed after. Later, I found out that the cleanser for my friend's dog had leaked from the bag and had been circulating throughout the car, ha. This auto shop could've easily said they needed to check it out for a day or made up some reason to charge us. But they were honest and professional. My friend and I had a good laugh about it.

I had a really great experience with Fan and Toby, and I truly appreciate all their help today…read more Fan personally drove out to help me when my car suddenly died and got it started with a jump. Unfortunately, the car died again shortly afterward, so Fan came back again and brought a new battery to get me back on the road. Since Fan speaks Cantonese, it was also much easier for me to communicate with him. After that, I drove the car back to the shop, where Toby carefully checked the car and made sure everything was working properly. I really appreciate Fan going out of his way to come help me, coming back again when the first jump didn't solve the problem, and helping me get a new battery. I also want to thank Toby for taking the time to carefully inspect my car afterward. Thank you, Fan and Toby, for helping me when I really needed it. I truly appreciate it!

I'd like to highly recommend Joseph at Honest Auto Shop in Rowland Heights!…read more I have a 2019 Toyota Camry, and recently the A/C stopped working. I took it to two different shops, and both told me the entire air compressor needed to be replaced, quoting me anywhere from $900 to $1,200. That seemed like a lot of money, and I was a bit skeptical--especially since Toyota compressors typically last over 100,000 miles. So I decided to get a third opinion and went to Honest Auto. I'm so glad I did! Joseph and his team took a closer look and found that it wasn't the compressor at all--it was just a small part, the fuse, that had gone bad. They replaced it for only $150. If you ever need car repairs, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion from Joseph at Honest Auto. They saved me a lot of money and were truly honest, just like their name says.
