The worst part was that no employee came out to explain what was happening or give customers any direction. Everyone was just left sitting in their cars waiting with no communication at all. If there's a malfunction--especially one that results in an accident--staff should immediately step in, communicate with customers, and make sure everyone is safe. One Star -- Unexplained Charges, Repeated Repair Problems, and Serious Concerns About My Vehicle's…read moreSafety I was a longtime customer of Juiced Performance in Glendora, where I brought my 2005 GMC Yukon XL for maintenance and repairs. Unfortunately, my experiences with the owner, Jose Sandoval, who goes by "Tony," have left me with a complete loss of trust in this business. Over the years, I repeatedly had to return my vehicle two or three times because repairs were not completed properly or the original problems remained unresolved. On several occasions, I was charged again for return visits involving work I believed should have been corrected the first time. On another occasion, after Juiced Performance replaced a lightbulb, I discovered a dent in my vehicle's hood. Nobody informed me about the damage. I noticed it after the work was completed, never had it repaired, and the dent remains there today. My most recent experience, on March 6, 2026, was especially concerning because I was preparing for an extended road trip. I specifically told Tony that I was planning to travel through Yosemite and into the Reno, Nevada area for camping and backcountry activities. I requested a thorough inspection of my vehicle, including the engine and mechanical systems, because I wanted to know it was dependable before traveling through remote areas. I purchased and supplied $940.30 worth of my own parts, oil, and filters from NAPA Auto Parts and provided a detailed written work order. My invoice totaled $1,507.25, but my credit card was charged $1,552.47 -- an unexplained difference of $45.22. The invoice also included a $480 charge labeled only as "sublet," without an explanation of what service was performed, along with $199.59 in additional parts and fees that I had not authorized in advance. The oil change was another major concern. On a previous visit, Tony charged me $25 for an oil change when I supplied my own motor oil. On this visit, he charged me $150, again with me supplying my own motor oil. That was a $125 increase for the same basic service. I repeatedly called Tony to ask why the charge had increased so dramatically, but he would not take my calls or provide an explanation. The woman at the front counter repeatedly told me Tony was away on a test drive. However, I personally saw him at the business during this period. Despite multiple attempts, I could not get him to speak with me or explain the bill. I was told my vehicle would not be released until I paid. I subsequently sent Tony a formal written demand requesting an explanation and review of the charges. I received no response. The most troubling part of this experience involved my transmission. Tony told me I was potentially facing approximately $3,500 to $4,500 for a transmission rebuild. However, he never informed me that my transmission was leaking fluid. My Yukon had fewer than 94,000 miles. I have never used it for towing, have never driven it hard, and have always maintained it carefully. Because I questioned his assessment, I took the vehicle directly to LEECO Transmissions for a second opinion. After examining my vehicle, LEECO told me my transmission was in excellent condition, practically like new, and did not need rebuilding. They identified a transmission fluid leak and addressed the fluid and gasket issue. They also spoke highly of the engine and transmission used in that model year of GMC Yukon. I found the difference between these assessments extremely concerning. I had specifically requested a thorough inspection before a long trip, yet I was never warned about the transmission fluid leak. Discovering it afterward made me question how thoroughly my vehicle had been inspected. I also subsequently read another customer's Yelp review describing a similar experience involving an expensive transmission rebuild recommendation. Although I cannot verify that customer's experience, reading it added to my concerns. Throughout my dealings with Tony, I frequently found his manner condescending, dismissive, loud, and confrontational. I often felt talked down to rather than treated as a valued customer. In my opinion, this experience represents everything customers fear when dealing with an automotive repair shop: unexplained charges, recurring repair problems, poor communication, and expensive repair recommendations that conflict with a second opinion from a transmission specialist. I have no objection to paying fairly for professional automotive work. What I expect in return is competent workmanship, clear estimates, transparent billing, accurate information about my vehicle, and respectful treatment. After years of giving this business opportunities to earn my trust, I would never feel comfortable bringing my vehicle back. Based on my personal experiences, I cannot recommend Juiced Performance.

That person also scratched up my right passenger front door and scratched up the back of my mirror. Giovanni the general manager took a look at my car and gave me the information I needed. Giovanni and his crew kept me updated through text. Eddie was the mechanic who worked on my car and he kept me updated as well to see when my car would be finished. It finished a day or two before the estimated day so I was able to return the rental car. They did a great job on fixing and repairing my car. They're also open for three hours on Saturday if you can during the week. Will definitely be back here.

The dealership quoted me $3,000 for the repair. Before spending that kind of money, I decided to get a second opinion from TK Auto Repair -- and I'm so glad I did! They carefully inspected the car and found that the problem was actually a damaged AC drain hose. They explained exactly what was wrong and told me to go to an auto parts store to purchase the replacement hose. I brought the part back, and they installed it for me. And here is the unbelievable part: they didn't charge me anything. $0. They spent a significant amount of time diagnosing the problem, checking the car, and installing the hose, and they still refused to charge me for their labor. The mechanic was also incredibly hardworking and careful. He was literally kneeling on the ground and working on my car the entire time, taking the job very seriously and making sure everything was done properly. The difference between being quoted $3,000 at the dealership and paying $0 at TK Auto Repair says everything about how honest these guys are. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead they helped me solve the actual problem. I'm incredibly grateful and will definitely come back here for any future car repairs.
