I found Detail Boyz on Yelp, of course. They had great reviews and the pictures of the cars they worked on looked amazing. From detailing to ceramic coating, I was instantly impressed. I called and spoke to the owner Victor who was very knowledgeable on ceramic coating and offered a 5 year warranty on it. He was running a rainy week special which fit my budget. I did call and shop around first. His prices fit the bill. I had just got my new car and did not even wash it yet since I picked it up from the dealership more than a month ago. On my appointment day, Gerry put their bright lights on the hood and that was when I saw all the little scratches and marks. They were not only on the hood but even around the trunk area. Gerry and Victor explained that because my car is black it can easily show scratches. He convinced me to get the car polished before ceramic coating which caused the price to increase. I wasn't expecting to pay more than planned but after all the work they put into my car, it was evident I made the right decision in picking Detail Boyz to do the job. I dropped off my car at 8 am and everything was done the next afternoon around 3:30. That's fast compared to the other place I went to before for my Jeep. I forgot to mention how immaculate their shop is. It's huge and they sell products as well. There's also a clean waiting room with a tv for the customers. It is obvious Victor takes pride in what he does. He wanted me to be completely satisfied and even offered to give me back my deposit if I wanted to shop around. My mom regularly details her red 2015 Chevy Cruze with Detail Boyz. After seeing the great job they did on her car, I decided to bring in a 2005 Toyota Corolla that I inherited from a family member. So when it came time to choose a business that does PPF and ceramic I chose this family run business over others, main reason was the response time and Victor always took the time to explain every benefit Modesta Ceramic and STEK film would provide in order to protect my Camaro for many years to come. I am OCD when it comes to keeping my cars clean so I usually don't let anyone else clean them but it's been really hot and the X5 needed some love after a recent road trip and the rainstorm. It also had water spot etching on the rocker panels, rear bumper and front grille, which is beyond my expertise on removing them. Victor did an amazing job with my Tesla model Y. Paint job from the factory for Tesla is very sub par, however after a stage 1 paint correction procedure, the car looked absolutely stunning! After an ozone treatment (at an additional nominal charge), my non-smoking chef friend says the car now passes his sniff test. Yay! The shop also did an excellent job at detailing the interior.
