The reason why I went with this shop because of the one of the owners and his professionalism, and especially the quality of work that he does with his work. Spent the whole day getting the wing installed, it was pretty complicated with the install but they were patient and it showed with the end piece. Two weeks ago I brought my 2015 Subaru Forester into Detail Union for a complete overhaul-- I had just had 90% of the vehicle repainted and wanted to protect the investment by getting an extremely high end detail. I've had my vehicle detailed many times elsewhere and was never satisfied with the results. I found Detail Union on Instagram and ended up looking at the various Yelp reviews and decided that despite being 15 miles away, this would be the place to finally meet my standards. It seemed like they primarily worked on higher end vehicles and supercars, but I wasn't afraid to take my 8 year overlanding rig to them. This vehicle means a lot to me and I was willing to throw some money at it to have it cleaned and protected. I called up and I think I spoke to Chris originally. I explained that I needed the car back before the end of the week since I was going on a trip and he graciously made an exception to get my vehicle in earlier despite their current load of jobs to make this happen. He recommend the Lifetime Ceramic Pro package which included a full on interior and exterior detail wash, clay bar, paint correction, and several layers of ceramic coating on the paint, plastic, and wheel faces. I decided to go all out since I park my vehicle outside and this vehicle is important to me. Several days later I picked the car up and it looked brand new. I had finally found my detail spot. I talked to a few of the guys at the shop and they gave me a small little tour of the shop and showed me a few other vehicles. Chris and I bonded about Poke Dot in Claremont being a great poke place and Top Golf in Ontario, California. They had to take my roof rack off to access the roof and they did the job impeccably. These dudes know what they're doing and will get the job done right. It's pricey but worth it, regardless if you have an older vehicle or a newer one. They even featured my car on their Instagram. I needed to get tint for our Tesla and was going to get it installed where we normally go which is 30 min drive but found Detail Union and saw they had really good reviews and it's only much closer so thought give it a try. I was a little worried if they'll do a good job cause I've never changed a tint place. I called in and had couple questions and Will was very friendly and patient, answered all my questions. So I booked the next availability. That day I went in and he had mentioned stuff that was helpful so I have some knowledge about it and what's been updated with tints. It took about half a day and loved the convenience of communications that was through text. They had texted to notify it was almost ready so I can get a head start to go on over. After I got there, he explained what to expect and what not to do for the next couple days. There was a sticker on the window button thing so I don't open the window for the next couple days. It looked so good. There wasn't any discoloration or disorientation. The car just looked so good. Loved the quality and service. The place is clean and comfortable where you can wait there if needed. I felt the price is competitive with other tint places. They aren't more expensive than others and it felt like they took the time to do a real detailed job instead of rushing it to do the next car type of job. In December 2023, I got the silver ceramic coat package and window tinting. I provided them some touch paint and they applied that for me before the coating. They were really helpful in picking out my tint darkness and had cars in their parking lot that represented some of the tints. The coating is fantastic. Water rolls off and sticky things come off a lot easier now. You do need to come back every year for a light "touch-up". read more
