Old school auto parts store with old school problem solving counter people . They have all worked for years and can turn your brakes !

Came in here looking for a PCV hose that none of the big name stores had. Was in and out of this place within 5 minutes with part in hand. Nothing like a mom and pop parts store!! read more

Well' For over 40 years Ed's auto has been there for me and my family. first my dad has used Ed's way back when Ed Senior was still with us and now over 40 years later I'm still counting on them and never has been let down' knowing they're not gonna ask me the psi in my tire to find me a filter for my car, truck, or equipment. They are one the last independent auto supply left' and I'm very grateful I don't have to deal with the Zone or O'Reilly who if asked for a piston return spring, muffler bearing, or blinker fluid they would ask for the year make and model ! if you're ever in the need for a hard to find part at a quality price, definitely look them up. read more

These guys are awesome. They usually have the parts I need, and if they don't, they have an idea of where I can get it. Always friendly, and always willing to help. What a great place read more

This place never disappoints. Great customer service. Parts always available. Knowledge about cars. And the best part is good prices.

Best auto parts shop around. They are very honest, fair, and they genuinely care. I'm only 28 but I've been coming here for 10 years. If you need a part and they don't have it in stock, most of the time they can get it in the same day and they don't charge you some crazy premium for getting it. They are the best. Call in and ask if they have the part you need, if they don't have it, they can get it for you fast. read more

Awesome bunch of guys. Have been coming to them for years. Always top notch customer service!!!

The guys at Eds are always very helpful and knowledgeable, especially when I am having trouble with a part...I recently was stuck trying to figure out why I couldn't get new O-rings to fit into my 2004 honda element valve cover...after 2 days and 2 different sets of new O-rings I couldn't figure out the issue so I took my valve cover to Eds. All of the guys at Eds were standing over my valve cover puzzled and trying to figure out why the O-rings wouldn't fit...then Eric, one of Eds staff members walks up with a screw driver and says " I know what the problem is!"...then he stuck the screw driver into the hole on the valve cover where the O-ring goes and popped out a piece of what looked like the valve cover...but it wasn't part of the cover at all...it was the center of one of the old O-rings that I thought was removed from the cover! The old O-rings were so old and hard that the center of them stayed stuck inside the cover while removing them! They looked like they were part of the valve cover. The O-rings fit into my valve cover perfectly thx to Eric and his knowledge and experience with auto parts. Hours of YouTube videos, Google searches, and even other mechanics couldnt solve this issue but 1 auto parts professional did. Thank you Eric and thank you to the whole team at Eds auto parts! This is only one example of why Eds is the best auto parts shop around! read more

10 outta 5! Shoutout to Randy, I was placing calls to get my mom an engine oil cooler and he came thru, above and beyond service prior to me knowing if she wanted to buy the part through them as I was shopping around. He placed the order anyways and gave me a fantastic price for the engine oil cooler that she ended up needing for her Kia. I'm so thankful for Randy and How he treated us. Thank you Randy! read more

I love coming here for their reliable and affordable car parts (best prices around) but especially for their EXCELLENT customer service!!! Today we were at the Dollar store almost across the street from them, and called here as a last resort to help a woman locked out of her car with her dog inside. Tow trucks and locksmiths were at least another 20 min away, but a worker from Ed's called us back, and came to help with the situation as best he could. I don't know of any other small business that will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customers and community members like this. Thank you so much Ed's!!! read more

Best auto parts store around. I've been going here off and on since I bought my first car. The people working are knowledgeable and super helpful. At times when I haven't lived I in the area I've gone to some chain stores and find that the staff isn't very knowledgeable and the selections are weak. Real old school local business that I will go the extra distance to shop at and support if I can. Went in today to get windshield wipers in the rain and the guy behind the counter ran out and changed them for me without even asking, some awesome service you don't see many places anymore. read more

great customer service and a good old school vibe! Knowledgeable and affordable pricing I would recommend to anyone who works on their own car or a mechanic shop read more

These guys are awesome! Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. I called about my 02 sensor at about 3pm on a wed and Eric had the part ready at 9am the next day. He also referred me to a local mechanic that they trust to install the part. Eric also ordered me a second sensor I needed and that part was in the same day just an hour later. Eric really went above and beyond to help me. I don't know anything about cars but when I called he helped me find the information about my car that I needed and was able to pull up my car with my license plate #. The other staff were great as well. I used to come here 8+ years ago for oil change supplies but I'm glad I can order car parts here too! They were very patient with me considering I didn't know anything about cars and seemed eager to help. They all had great attitudes and I can tell they really care to help people. Now I know why this place has been successful for so many years in Covina. Thank you to Eric and the staff for helping me and making this stressful experience easy. So happy my check engine light is off :) read more

The guys know their stuff, specially for classic cars. I'm new to this shop and so glad I found it. If they don't know or have something they surely now someone nearby that will have it or know it. They did not make any money this time but they have my business in the future. Dont remember the salesman but great bunch of people in there. Ed's is an old school auto parts store. Ed and the guys know auto parts by sight and application, They are really knowledgeable and helpful to the "do it yourselfers". It has gotten to be very painful to shop at the "chain" auto parts stores because most of the people that work in these stores don't know the first thing about automobiles beyond "turn the key, put it in gear, and it goes" Great Job! Thank You for not being these guys! read more

If they don't have the part you need, they will get it for you. They are very helpful with minor installs such as batteries.

I was doing my brakes today, I went over to Ed's Auto parts my brother found this place a couple weeks ago to get parts for his F350 these guys are very knowledgeable, I came in today to buy some brake pads and get my rotors cut they offer the services here, they also have a press machine if you need any fittings that are pressed for axles or hubs They did not have the part in stock however they got it in 45 minutes a good high-quality centric ceramic brake pad and they also finished cutting my rotors are great service it's a small shop but these guys know what there doing, don't bother going to AutoZone or O'Reillys Their customer service is bad at those other two places and they don't know what they're doing, come down to Ed's auto parts and support small business And work with parts guys that Have been in the business since 1968 read more

I love Ed's Auto Parts! Ed's is an old school parts house with knowledgeable countermen and a good selection of quality parts at great prices. I have used Ed's for more than 30 years and will do so for as long as I can still perform repairs on my cars and trucks. I will highly recommend Ed's over any Kragen, Auto Zone, Napa, Car Quest or other major chain parts house. read more

We found Ed's by accident, having meant to go to another auto parts store in the area. It was meant to be though - the staff at Ed's is fantastic! All of the employees are professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had some trouble with the part that we purchased and had to bring it back. The guy who helped us readily exchanged the part and apologized for the problem (although it clearly wasn't his fault that the part ended up being a lemon). Although Ed's isn't close by for us, we will definitely be making the drive to get parts from them again! read more

Went to Ed's for a charger today.i love that their is still a Family freindly, reliable place to go to . Thanks to everyone at Ed's

I called to see if they had what I needed. They double checked everything and needed to order a part for me that would be in that afternoon. I went a little early so I could visit and check the place out. They're a neighborhood store that know a great deal about cars and people. They're a great group. They're my new got to store for all my automotive parts in the SGV area. First day here was 11/10/16 in the afternoon. Came here because of their 5 star Yelp reviews and they definitely live up to their reviews! I would highly recommend!! Pros: excellent, amiable, honest, trustworthy, swift customer service. Came in and was nicely greeted and introduced to all the employees. Placed a special order for a import/Mercedes hard to get and pricey part and it was delivered within 2 hours and they personally called me to inform me when the part had arrived. Very competitive pricing and are willing to work with you. Family ran business. Cons: smaller parking area but that is not a concern since their location is not a large sale distributor type operation. Easy to drive by the location and miss it. read more
