I'll stick with my Toyota...
Came in today to look at a Fusion Energi. I spoke with Miles, pretty cool guy i'll admit but here is the list of issues with this dealership.
1. I specifically was looking at purchasing one, but was open to leasing. I asked Miles about the credit requirements, since I have heard before that you must have VERY good credit to even lease. When I asked Miles this, his response was "No, you don't have to have good credit to get a lease." When in reality, this is completely false because thats ALL ford looks at when trying to lease.
When the above happened, Miles asked a guy named Charlie to verify, and Charlie did verify that you apparently don't need good credit to lease a new car. So basically I was lied to because when it came to the money part of the deal, the person running my credit came out and told me that the reason I was not able to get the car for the price I wanted, was because of the credit. I then mentioned what Miles said, and this guy basically said Miles was wrong, and that's all Ford looks at when getting a car.
2. I was told by the finance guy that they were giving me the car with them making NO money on it. Basically at invoice (which was $36,000 and change). NEVER (and I have purchased a few cars in my time) has someone from finance from a car dealership told me they were outright giving the car away at invoice price.... .Very fishy if you ask me. I did not even get the chance to negotiate!
3. They did not give me any options at all. No purchase option, nothing. All they said was "You need to have a very hefty down payment, and even then we might not be able to do it for the price you want." Which I call BS on.
4. I will say this: they valued my current car which would have been a trade in, at an appropriate price.
5. After I turned down the offer to put any money down to try to get the car, my sales rep (Miles) went outside, and was laughing with the other dudes outside. CLEAR indication that you're obviously laughing about the debate me and the finance guy had. Advise: Wait till the customer is out of the dealership and has driven away before you talk shit. And that's where Miles became not cool. He didn't even say goodbye... Rude.
Moral of the story: Go elsewhere. I don't trust these people for crap.

UPDATE:
I wound up calling the Manager of Customer Relations about this issue and just to explain to her that I am unsatisfied. She said she saw this review, and asked me to take it down, as they take these very serious, and that they want to help and they said they could help as they have (and I quote) "programs that can help you" - After telling me that I was completely misinformed at the dealership when I was there last night about the incentives, I was transferred to a guy named Nick who basically explained the right thing about the incentives.
The conversation ended with him telling me the SAME thing that they told me last night: I need a ton of cash to put down on the car in order for me to get one... So basically, I ended up nowhere further than I was last night. so, instead of removing this review, I added to it.
I told Nick, I would remove this review if he could get me in a car. He did not deliver, therefore I feel this review can stay. Honestly, them asking me to remove this review is a bit ridiculous and just shows that they don't know what they're doing. They claimed that these reviews really hurt their business, WELL HELLO!!!! DO SOMETHING about it.... Empty hope is all they give. Good luck if you do business, and if you actually have a nice experience, consider yourself lucky as this is a rare occasion. They should focus more on making the business better so negative reviews don't show up on their yelp profile...
