With prettiest clean cars and a group of people that make car shopping(dare I say it) enjoyable Now we have been to a few dealerships and for us this experience has been ok, sometimes disappointing, as our credit is not the best. But here we must have test drove about 6 different cars, and looked inside about the same and our sales rep Miriam was truly the best, she is so kind and patient and professional. Her attitude always stayed positive and we asked questions she would get the answers. Now along with her we had Javier and Oscar this outstanding team got us an amazing deals, something I thought wasn't even possible, but they did and we are so grateful. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership's service department. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change expecting it to be properly serviced and safe to drive. My vehicle alerted me to an oil issue through the Hyundai app, and I noticed a burning smell along with the dashboard alert. This was incredibly alarming because driving a vehicle without sufficient engine oil can lead to catastrophic engine damage and create a serious safety hazard if the engine loses power while driving. No customer should have to worry that their vehicle may have been placed at risk after a routine service appointment. Especially when their occupation is driving small children. To make matters worse, I have called the service department multiple times and have been unable to reach the service manager or receive a return call. The lack of communication and urgency regarding such a serious concern has been just as frustrating as the issue itself. I trusted this dealership to properly maintain my vehicle, and instead I have been left with a car I do not feel safe driving and no answers. I hope management takes this matter seriously, thoroughly investigates what happened, and treats future customers with the level of care and accountability they deserve. read more

The parts counter guys have one job to search parts and they act like they cant help you out. The shop parts counter and front counter share the same person it took one hour two special order two parts. When my order arrived it came incomplete and they stated i didnt pay for it when i clearly explained to the parts guy brian after dealing with him for an hour exactly what i needed he said itll come complete.. Conman!! Save yourself the headache and STAY FSR AWAY from this dealership!! They rely on classic bait-and-switch tactics, illegal add-ons, and flat-out deception to push compromised inventory onto buyers. During my initial inspection, the interior had an overwhelming, pungent odor of mildew. I specifically asked if the vehicle had suffered water damage, and Santiago directly lied and claimed it had not. To close the deal, they promised to fully detail the interior to eliminate the odor, replace a missing part in the trunk, and touch up exterior scratches. However, when it came to pricing, they tried to pull a fast one. They claimed it was "mandatory" to purchase their expensive dealer packages if they were going to fix the vehicle's pre-existing flaws. Unlawful tie-in sales and disguising optional dealer add-ons as non-negotiable requirements violate California law. Once I called out the illegal nature of this tactic with manager Alex, they backed down and removed the charges, proving they knew exactly what they were doing. When I with the cashier's check to pick up the vehicle, they hadn't held up their end of the bargain. The trunk part was still missing, and the foul stench remained just as potent because the car had, in fact, sustained water damage. They intentionally hid the true condition of the vehicle and used fraudulent misinformation to push a bad car out the door. I returned the car in less than 24 hours and secured a full refund. When confronted, manager Alex showed zero accountability, had terrible attitudes, and refused to offer even a basic apology for wasting my time and attempting to sell me a damaged vehicle through deceptive means. This was on caution because the other locations had already said no to us. (Lease return) When we got there, they did not honor it or assist as in any way. Cardinale Hyundai must be desperate for used cars! I stopped in this morning to schedule a diagnostic for an issue with my car that should be under warranty. First, I was told it would be $300 for the diagnostic, then informed it would take 24 hours and they have no shuttle, and finally I was "warned" the issue could very likely NOT be covered by warranty (setting me up, I'm guessing, for what the techs will find) in which case I'd be responsible for all repairs. BUT if I didn't want to pay for repairs I could always sell them my car! Seriously?? Sure, I'll sell you a 7 year old car that's got less than 38,000 miles on it. I would like to warn anyone against bringing their car in for repairs even if it is on a warranty or a recall. I highly recommend you take it to pretty much any other dealership. Even if it is out-of-the-way. I brought my car in on a recall. Had to pay $300 for them to look at it even though it was on a recall that they mailed to me. Then it took them three days to look at it in which I had no car. Then they called me Friday night saying they had a car for me, but I had told them I had small children and needed a car to accommodate all of them. They gave me some car they had laying around... Her words, not mine. When I told her that it would not work, she started giving me an attitude telling me that she was doing me a favor... She was doing me a favor by fixing the car that they had messed up... That I had paid for. So, anyway, I go to pick up my car after about a week and a half and the radio was not working when I picked it up. It was working when I dropped it off. Then my fan started running for an hour after shut off. They said it was normal. Next day the car was dead. Can't even jump it. My battery is less than a year old. So I call them and leave 5 voicemails and no calls back I had to call uber to drive down there in which they told me I need to pay to have my car towed and will have to pay $300 AGAIN. Have been coming to Cardinale since it was just Glendora Hyundai. They've gone through several changes throughout the years, but it is still my preferred Hyundai location to take my car for service. I've come to trust the service advisors here as they're always helpful with my services and have provided honest and open feedback on whether or not a particular service is critical to get immediately or if I can wait, so I appreciate that. The waiting area is quite clean and comfortable; there are always snacks and free water and coffee available. WiFi is also readily available, and I often will work in the lobby while waiting for my vehicle to be completed. They will uber you to your desired location if you have a major service being performed. Overall, a great dealer/service location. read more

Worst service department. My 2025 Santa Fe went into safety mode while I was going up Kellogg hill on the 10 fwy. I had the car towed to the dealership where the service department had horrible costumer service. They treated me like I was inconveniencing them. When I asked for a rental, they said they would need to check if the car was under warranty. Apparently it took days to do this until I finally had enough of not having a car and told them I needed a car. Then gave me the tiniest bright green car, which I think was low of them. There was no communication or updates on my car. When my rental contract ended I took it back to the dealership where I was told with an attitude that I wasn't called and my car is not ready, so basically why am I there. After weeks they called my husband and told him the issue with my car was that I had filled it up with diesel and warranty would not cover any of it. After going through insurance and paying our part, turns out that wasn't the issue with our car. The car ended up going into safety mode 3 more times and is now classified a lemon. Also come to find a mechanic took my car to his home and ran errands with it over a weekend. Overall the hyundai staff offered horrible customer service. They had no sympathy or even patience for us, who were going through a stressful time. We definitely didn't want to be out a car and most of all didn't want to be dealing with THEM. The lack of communication and wrong diagnosis was just unbelievable. Will never go there again. read more

I never missed a payment and had no issues with my lender Unfortunately, the vehicle was totaled in December 2025 and my personal auto insurance fully covered the loss. What's been disappointing is the lack of support from the dealership regarding my GAP refund. The finance representative I dealt with did not disclose his name and appeared to work through another person, which made communication difficult Instead of providing clear guidance or assistance, he continually redirected me to the lender, even though the GAP coverage was purchased through the dealer I expected more transparency and support during a stressful situation, especially as a loyal and responsible customer. I hope the dealership can improve how GAP claims and post-loss situations are handled in the future read more

Worst experience! Will no longer be a Hyundai customer. Customer service drags their feet on issues they create. My lease ended in December, I came in, and traded in for another lease, was told everything would be free and clear as I was jumping into another one of their cars. They said they would draw up all that was needed and even remove my old to my new in the app. This did not happen . As I had to pay an additional payment and it took them over a month for them to reimburse me with multiple follow ups. The new car had damage, they made a terrible job at fixing it the first time around and then took them another month for them to fix that. Then I start getting texts that I owe for mileage and early termination?! I contact the sales associate who says I have nothing to worry about , it's all been fixed on their end . I continue to get these so she says she'll have Fausto or Javier call me back. I get nothing . Now I get an 11 point hit on my credit , I have called multiple times to speak with someone , leaving messages to call me back and nothing. Absolute joke for customer service . Unnecessary services pushed aggressively. A condescending attitude that made it clear they view customers as targets, not people. This is not a service department. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and 30,000-mile service. At drop-off, I clearly stated that the driver's side rear tire had triggered a low-pressure warning the day before. When I picked up the car, I was told there was nothing wrong. The next day, the same tire triggered the warning again. I called and asked if the tires had been rotated--because if they had, the issue would've moved with the tire. Instead, I was told the tires were "wearing evenly" so rotation wasn't necessary--despite the fact that I was charged for it. As a solution, I was offered a $25 credit and told I could spend another $250 on a diagnostic--on a tire your team had supposedly just inspected and cleared. That alone was insulting. I then took the car to America's Tire, where they immediately located a large nail in the same tire and repaired it on the spot--for free. They also gave me the nail, which I now have as proof of what your team somehow missed or chose to ignore. This experience was unacceptable. Either the inspection wasn't done thoroughly, or worse--it wasn't done at all. I now have serious doubts about the entire $600 service I paid for. At this point, I no longer trust your service department and will not be bringing my vehicle back. I expect the $25 credit to be refunded to my credit card immediately. This isn't about the money--it's about principle and complete failure to do the job I paid for. read more

The good: the people in the service department were very helpful. Peter helped me and he is very friendly and charismatic. He told me everything I need to know about my 60,000 mile maintenance. The work was done on time and from what I could tell everything worked out fine. Of course it wasn't cheap but it didn't surprise me. The negative: when I returned to pick up the car, I was told they charge 3% on a credit card. Of course I had no cash or check so I was stuck. In the future, I'll probably go to a dealership in New Mexico where I also frequent. $36 in Credit card fees just ticked me off. They don't do that in New Mexico. read more

Updated - The construction has been completed and the lobby is nice a spacious. Large windows and tables for folks to work. There are limited power outlets though. The staff is a lot better compared to my first visit. They've made a lot of improvements since then and it shows. read more

I went into this dealership on a Friday morning, Cardinale Way Glendora, for a test drive on a vehicle my wife was interested in. We met Oscar and our experience was cordial and informative. I called back to test drive another vehicle trim and was informed that Oscar was not available but Amanda could assist me, I made an appointment. We test drove two cars and I asked about what offers I could get on the two cars. Amanda went to get Lee, a manager. I explained what I needed, offer sheets with options on financing and cash. The Ioniq5 has Hyundai $7500 cash and $1000 competitive owner discount. Lee said I could get the offers and had me give my email to Amanda. Even though I had requested an offer by email on Friday morning, Saturday at 7:35PM I get a text from Amanda, cost for one car (Tucson) and nothing for the other car (Ioniq5). I responded that I needed the VIN #s included and also the offer on the Ionic5. Sunday at 12:11PM Amanda responds back with "absolutely". 1:37PM Amanda texts me the VIN on the Tucson only. This morning, Monday, I text Amanda that she was supposed to send me an offer on the Ioniq also. Amanda decides to no longer answer me now. I call Cardinale Way and ask for Amanda and I'm told she is busy and will call me back. After several hours I called Cardinale Way again, Guess who answers? I asked Amanda why she didn't call me back and a flood of excuses starts to flow, all with no apology. I asked why I never got the offers emailed. I asked why she wasn't providing what I asked for in her texts. Again excuses which don't explain why she couldn't take 15 minutes to provide what was promised. I am told Lee will send me the Ioniq offer. I explain how I have been disrespected by their inattention and will post my experience. Amanda offered no apologies or even seemed to care how I felt. Shortly I receive an email from Lee with the Ioniq offer, and literally just writes " Here is your quote on the Ioniq5 Thank You". It is like they are resistant to provide this information and the short and curt response shows their demeanor is less than professional. Do they want to sell a car? Every contact with Amanda after the test drive became a revelation that I was not being respected as a customer and Cardinale Way was letting me down. Most everybody knows that car purchases can be a trial. I just expect a level of respect and customer service that Cardinale Way of Glendora was not able to provide and even went to a level of disrespect. I have been in contact with 8 other car dealerships in the last week and none of the others has shown such problems. The other dealerships have been more than helpful and respectful, on the phone, by text, by email and in person. I write this review to inform others and also so that Cardinale Way can assess their actions and make attempts to treat customers with a better attitude and service.
