I have had nothing but problems with this place. I usually never go to the dealerships for servicing because of all the bad things you hear about them. So this all started in January when I decided to go to the dealership to get a 120,000 mile check-up and oil change. I figured they would know best and be able to service my car better than some random shop. SO. I made an appt and dropped my car off at around 0900. I'm told it should take a couple hours and take their complimentary shuttle home (The shuttle driver by the way is the best, most amiable employee they have. He truly enjoys the customer interactions and is the only highlight of these visits). So by 1 o'clock I still haven't heard anything. I call them and they tell me around 2 hours left. Around 4 o'clock the shuttle driver calls and states that he remembers me telling him I would need a ride home and since he was about to finish his shift soon would like to know if I would be requiring a pick-up. YES PLEASE. He picks me up and I get to the facility and of course, my car is STILL not done. An hour later it's finally finished, my service account manager couldn't care less that I was upset his communication was lacking. But my bad, I should have listened to what people told me.. Fast forward a few months. I need an oil change and decided to go to a reputable shop. They take my car in and not even 20 minutes later the owner of the shop comes out and sits down with me. I knew this wasn't going to be good. So it ends up that whoever had previously changed my oil (AKA FORD) has put my oil pan plug in so haphazardly there was no way to get it out without damaging the oil pan. He told that I would have to go back to whoever last touched my car. I called ahead of time and spoke with the service manager regarding the current issue and my last previous experience. He told me he would assign me a different account manager and personally take a look at the oil pan, so I made an appt to drop my car off the next week. I drop my car off and head home. Sure enough they call me and let me know that they used every tool imaginable, but they can't even get the oil pin out without damaging the pan. Thankfully they offered to cover the cost of the replacement, but they would need to order the part and it would not be in til Tuesday (This is Saturday). They said they would call me when it was in. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday go by... I call them on Friday regarding the part and they were super nonchalant and were like "oh yeah it's been here the whole time.". Irritable, but I needed this part so I made another appointment and dropped my car off the next week. So again, I stop everything in my schedule to come drop off my car. They repair the pan, to THEN tell me that they had damaged my oil dipstick. SERIOUSLY?? I talked to the service manager who made it seem like they were doing me a favor by covering the cost of a new part. If you damage my car, you should be responsible for covering the part. SO AGAIN, they tell me they'd order the part (again should arrive on Tuesday) because they do not have it and they would be sure to call me when it arrived.... AGAIN Tuesday/wednesday/thursday go by. I call them and they had completely forgotten about calling me for my part. They said it had arrived earlier and then started blaming it on the parts department who should have told them blah blah. So I tell them I'm on my way to the dealership service center right now. I drive there and they immediately come outside and replace it. I think they really just wanted to be rid of me as well. So moral of the story. Take your service needs elsewhere. After horrible service, a damaged oil pin AND a damaged oil dipstick. Just stay away from here. read more

This is a delayed posting and for my grandma and the lack of customer service not to mention the horrible service job she received on her car. She's so disappointed in the service and can't believe the owners are so okay with hiring their friends who have no customer service integrity. Don't bother trying to complain to upper management or even ownership, the service dept lost all of their good ethical employees. We are looking for Larry if anyone knows where he went (they wouldn't tell us at colley) read more

Went there for a F150 warranty issue. Ac compressor broken. Service dept said it could be accident related ( 3 years and 33,000 ago it was in an accident) . Come on now !! REALLY ! They wanted us to pay $389 to investigate if ford will pay for repair. I said "I am not paying, as this is warranty". Then, "EBE" refused warranty repair and said we would have to pay around $1500. In the meantime wef ound a place that would fix the issue for $750 if it wasnt repaired under warranty. Anyway we got the service manager involved, he was willing to contact a ford rep to see if they would pre-approve a repair, This is after 3 days being at the shop, and we lost all faith in Colley Colley Ford and its service dept. does not stand behind their customers and step up to the plate when needed. Communication is poor and takes to long. We wont be going back. Decided to take it to Wondries Ford in Alhambra, they repaired under warranty in 1 day and gave a free rental car! Great service ( isnt this the way it should be ???) read more

I had a wonderful experience at Colley Ford. I had mechanical issues with my Ford Edge and after talking with John in the service Dept. I knew my vehicle would be taken care of. My vehicle was out of warranty and John talked to a District Manager to see if Ford could help me with the issue. I was surprised and delighted when he called me and told me that they would fix the car no charge. This is the second car I purchased at Colley Ford and there service has been excellent . Thanks to John in the service Dept. I'm a happy and content customer. read more

I walked out of Colley Ford on Saturday with a bad feeling. While Eric, the Colley Ford representative that received us, and showed us the car was very helpful, the next person we dealt with, who I don't want to remember his name, attempted to use the old haggle tactics that do not work anymore. This second person refused to give us an estimate for a lease. He attempted to convince us that the price was higher than the one we had seen on the car window, and repeatedly insisted on the question "What is the maximum you are willing to pay for this car". When I showed him the national offer from the ford.com website, he indicated that that offer did not apply to that car, and repeated the same question about the maximum I was willing to pay for the car. Finally when I said that my offer was what was stated in the ford.com website, he said that he could not help us and good luck. This haggling game wasted close to 45 minutes on everyone's time. After walking out of Colley Ford, we called another dealer, and by the time we arrived, they already had three printed alternatives for the lease. They explained them to us and I chose the one I liked. I completed the paperwork and drove out with the new car in a similar time as Colley Ford took to loose me as a customer. I had purchased in the past from Colley Ford and that is why I had come back last Saturday. After this experience, next time I will go to the dealer that treated me with respect, Ford of Upland. Colley Ford's salesperson lost a customer while trying to make an extra buck in commission. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle at Colley Ford. The whole sales experience with Lindon and management was first rate. I hate going to car dealerships but this time it was a good one. Did a lot of my deal over the phone and was in/out in under 4 hours from test drive to signing the dotted line. They made every effort to get every rebate and discount possible. I did give them an initial customer rating as a 4 of 5 but that last star was for the service department not the purchase. The survey doesn't let you separate the two so my sales rep got shorted. They do need to do something about service as they have no follow thru and push you off till you have to call back several times. I recommend this dealership! read more

The other day I had an unexpected and unpleasant experience with my car. I was advised by my husband to take the car straight to the dealer. It was at Colley Ford that I was helped by service Advisor Brandon. My problem was not complex however, it could have been tedious and time consuming. Brandon provided with an estimated wait time of about 3.5 hours which was a major inconvenience already because I had scheduled a day off work to attend to errands. I explained to Brandon what my situation was and was directed to waiting area and offered coffee. I sat there in hopes that by any miracle my car would be done sooner than the expected time. Well, the miracle did come, after less than an hour wait Brandon comes in to tell me my car was ready and they had even washed it for me. If this is not superb customer service I don't know what is. This young man is an asset to the Colley Ford Service Department. Thank you Brandon for saving the day with your empathy and superb customer service. From now on our car is coming to Colley for service. read more

I went here for an issue with my(at the time) new 2013 Ford Fusion, still under factory warranty. They were busy, so I made arrangements for a ride home and left my car there. They said they would call me 'in a few hours' to let me know what they found. Having yet to hear back in the 7 hours they had my car(and they would close soon), I called them. After being passed to 3 people and being spoken to as if I was an idiot, I was told they could not find a problem. I still don't believe they actually checked my car at all, as I still have the problem to this day. All of that aside, I would have just moved on with my life, knowing I would never do business with them again, until their mailers began arriving. I tossed them straight out for a while and then got annoyed. I called. They said they'd remove me from their list. The mailers continued. I waited 30 days to allow ample amount of time to 'process' my request. I called again. Again I was told I would be removed. Mailers still came. I emailed this time. An email reply gave an apology and a promise to be removed. That was over a year ago. I still receive mailers. This may not seem like an issue to some, but it is for me. It makes me dislike them even more. read more

As everyone knows about the Takata air bag recall most of us have been waiting nearly a year for the parts to become available. I had the driver airbag replaced about a year ago by a different dealership. The airbag for the passenger side was nearly an additional year wait for that replacement as well. I received a letter that the passenger airbag was now available to be replaced. I called Colley Ford right away and they got me right in. Eric was my service agent and he kept me aware of the progress on my car. Eric was very nice and conducted great customer service. I will definetly return for service on my mustang and ask for Eric. read more

Well, just bought a 2011 F150 FX4. And the process was painless as always. Colley offered me very fair trade in value for my 2008 FX4 and Ford had some great rates for financing. The reason I am posting an update is cause I just got back from the second service on the truck... they walked me through the multipoint inspection and what I should expect when I bring it in for the next scheduled maintenance. It really instilled confidence in the quality of work they do. read more

Promised to have car in inventory to lure me in. Took 2 hours to process and ding my credit and in the end no where close to what they originally said they could do. Actually, they didn't even have the car and the dealers they claim to have asked said this dealer never asked. Afterwards, I get endless calls even though I asked them to take me off of their call list. The sales people do have high turnover so they'll try everything in the book to make a buck. Unacceptable. Avoid. read more

This review is for the service department. I ran a vehicle health report on my 2013 Ford Focus and it shows that there are field order actions. I have been here a few months before to get an update on the transmission control module, in which that time I was told I would have to pay for a diagnostic test for the transmission because it shudders at times and pulls. I didn't feel that paying anything was justified. So I just left. So I was pretty hesitant about taking my car in so that my transmission would be taken care of. John was very cordial and nice. I was told by another worker that it would take a half a day to do the update and the shuddering and pulling will still be there, unless the transmission fails then they will replace it. I waited just 2 hours and the update was done. John explained in detail what to expect. Even though I'm not happy with having to go through changes so that my car runs properly, John eased my anxiety by saying that I'm covered by Ford. My transmission is doing a bit better, but still shudders. I hopeI don't have to come back, but If I do, I'm going to deal with John only, he's great! read more

Don't go there for a new car! I called twice inquiring about the F150's and I knew more about the Truck then them. Then went in and half of there lights were off! (weird) I think I woke them up. Now I know why they have a ton of F150's just sitting there. I took my business elsewhere and was very glad I did. Had way to many bad feelings about this place. I went to Colley Ford at the end of May 2012 because my car's air-conditioner was not working. They said they did all kinds of tests but were unable to locate any problems with the Air conditioning so they filled it with Freon and I paid 200 dollars for this repair. July 24 I returned the vehicle to Colley Ford because the air-conditioning was not blowing cold air it was blowing hot air. This time they said they did a pressure test and they found that the air-conditioner compressor was bad and it needed to be replaced. Why wasn't this test done the first time? The Service guy Gary said it was done last time also but we both know it was never checked or pressurized. The cost for this replacement would cost me 1550 dollars. This blew me away. I Logged on to WWW.ford.com and found this site offered me the same compressor for 324 dollars plus tax but they would have to charge me 15 dollars for shipping. I ask the service Manager how much for his compressor and he quoted 700 dollars for the same new air-conditioning compressor. I told him I would sell him the air-compressor from Fords website for the same price because it was cheaper on Fords website. This place is ripping people off. I told him "I would not bring my cars there any longer for any type of service" he said "fine, no problem." This is unacceptable behavior and poor customer service. I have used this dealer for many car purchases and service in the past, but they lost my business as of today. I would like to give this business zero stars but I had to give them at least one because I wouldn't have been able to post my review of this crappy business. read more

This is the absolute worst dealer to have your vehicle serviced or to even purchase your vehicle at. Let's see where do I start I made an appt. to have my car serviced (just a oil change) my appt was scheduled for 7:45am. I was in line for service at 7:50am. It is know 11:30am. And I still am waiting for my cars oil to be changed. This is ridiculous I clearly stated when I made my appt. and when I was checked in that I will be having to wait. Mind you I live in Chino and have to be somewhere at 12:20pm. WORST DEALER EVER!!!!!!! NEVER NEVER AGAIN read more

Walked in to look at purchasing a car. Salesman was very nice but they seemed confused regarding the currently available rebates Ford is offering. I had to tell the salesman what I found on line. The manager was no better. He was not acknowledging an additional $2000 in rebates I qualified for. I mentioned several times I was a Prius owner and there was a rebate for that too. He finally found it. Does not inspire confidence to buy a car here. They do not seen upfront in their business. read more

Brian P. and his sales team did an awesome job getting me into a 2019 truck with an excellent trade in price and monthly payment. These guys worked hard to get my trade in appraised to a place I felt good about and then made things happen so the payment was an excellent price with minimal down payment. Wasn't pressured into any sale and felt taken care of. Will definitely be recommending others to come check them out. Also, has great trade in promotions and rebates. read more

I just celebrated the 32nd anniversary of my 29th birthday and this is perhaps (strike that), this is the worst service experience I have EVER had. Any industry, any company, any service provider. Background: I have a 2009 Ford Edge that has been dealer serviced since purchase. With 230K miles, that is over thirty (30) service visits. I returned to Southern California recently and on a recommendation from a trusted friend, decided to use Colley. I went there for a regular service and they identified my battery was failing. If true, that is battery number 5. I returned on 18 June 2018, to have the battery checked (and ultimately replaced when they again said they can find no reason for the excessive failures) and to follow-up on a voicemail I had left days before that had gone unreturned. In my initial call, I inquired about the recall (airbag) status as well as the rental car option that my car is impacted by. I spoke with a Service Advisor ( a name I don't recall but know I had written down somewhere) who assured me he would talk with his Service Director and one of them would call me back to provide that update. Even though Lee Cook (Service Director) had an individual in the office at the time I arrived, he invited me in. I began to recount my experience. After listening for a while, Lee interrupted and said something to the fact that if this is the way our first meeting is going, I should find another dealership for my service needs. He said he did not like me "accusing" his Service Writer and himself. Accusing of what? I was simply recounting my experience. At that point, I made it very clear that I did not accuse anyone of anything and he (Lee) was the first (AND only) person to use that word. Lee did eventually come out and try to engage me in conversation. He began to denigrate the rental car option and the company used as the provider as well as Ford's offer to reimburse to only $30 per day. I contacted Ford and found most (if not all) of his information was incorrect. A left a voicemail informing him of same and received an email response that showed he did not care. I sent a letter to Ford that factually recounted my experience with Colley and as a courtesy copied CJ Colley. It is a good thing I did not require a response..............because I did not get one from CJ. Talk about professionalism at its finest. They say "the fish stinks from the head down". It is clear Service Director is a title given from above as Lee has no idea what service means as it relates to my dealings with him. read more

I took my car there because it needed the transmission and water pump replaced. I thought it was covered under warranty but, come to find out, It wasn't. I spoke with Jim in the service Department and he found out it was covered under a recall. Since the water pump was leaking onto a belt, he replaced that too. So, I ended up paying nothing. He could have easily charged me $1500 to fix my car but, he didnt. I would refer everybody to Colley Ford. Ask for Jim. He's the best!!! read more

Like most people I absolutely needed a car. I looked online and searched nearby dealerships. This was my 2nd dealership visited. Wished it would of been my first because they did 3 amazing things. The first and foremost was that they beat my credit unions APR which was already incredibly low. The second was that they found my exact dream car and I was very particular. From the color of the vehicle to the rims to the upholstery. They not only found and got me what I wanted but went the extra mile and brought me the car to my house! The third was the family owned experience. Very nice and attentive. Christopher who helped me out also had his son working at the same spot. A young gentleman named Taylor. It's nice to see that kind of family kindred. I Definitely recommend this place. Thumbs up! read more

We had a sales experience buying a used car (with Nick) from an Internet search. The process was acceptable and Nick was very personable. We had the wheels chromed and we were given a rental car during the nine days that took to have done. The service department said the wheels had come back once and were not done right so they had to send them back to be redone. The final product was very good and it was a long time for them to have to cover a rental car, so that was handled well. Nick had promised that the vehicle would be detailed well before we got it back, but this was not done, so they lost a star for that. After dealing with the rental car we didn't want to wait for detailing to be done so just left. read more

Recently I visited Colley Ford for routine service on my 2004 F-150. The service adviser Ebe was very pleasant and helpful. While waiting for my truck to be serviced, I had ample time to look at all the new & used vehicles on the lot. While browsing I came across the all new 2009 F-150. The salesman coincidentally, was Sean. He was very professional and was not pushy and very helpful. Even though I told him I'm only getting my truck serviced and not buying a new truck! Colley Ford had a 2009 4X4 F-150 that I liked. I purchased my last truck from Colley Ford in 2004. Sure enough I feel in love with the truck. The sales Managers made me a great deal on the new 2009 F-150. That day I traded in my my old truck. It's funny, that when people have a bad experience they will write about it. But, you never hear about a GREAT experience. The only reason for taking the time to write a review about this dealership is because there is a someone with a chip on there shoulder, "Mo F." that would take the time to write a bad review about a great dealership! With a name like Mo F., there is definitely a personal problem. P.S. I hope this is helpful for someone. read more

My first new car was purchased here back in 1997 Ford Mustang GT. Great car served me over fifteen years, then sold it for good price! We stopped by to check out the new F150. Good selection from base to upper trim. Our salesman was so helpful, and knowledgeable that he recommended the F250. I had a terrible experience with their service department. The service writer (Keith) was nice enough. I have taken my truck in 3 times now for a tire pressure monitoring sensor that continues to go on while driving on the freeway. The first two times they adjusted it and said it should be good. The 3rd time I asked them to replace it but was told by the service manager (Lee) that he was not going to replace it because the sensor wouldn't go off while their staff tested it. I have several pictures of what happens when it goes off as well as the Ford app that tracks every time it goes off (close to 10 times already). The service writer continued to tell me that he would not replace the $86.00 sensor on the brand new $38,000 truck I bought. He was rude and had the nerve to say I was the rude one after having had to deal with several trips to the dealer and getting my truck back without the issue being resolved. The customer service manager (Kim) was very nice and got me a comparable vehicle to drive for the week that my truck was in their shop. When I got my truck back though, they didn't fill it with gas after the 87 miles that they drove it testing it. I recommend taking your Ford vehicle to a different service center. read more
