Nobody wants to need collision repair but Collex made this as smooth a process as possible. Brittany in the front office is so kind and helpful. She advised me on rental car and insurance details. My car repairs were perfect. read more

Had my car repaired here in September. Service was excellent! Brittany was so helpful and did a lot of work behind the scenes talking to my insurance company. Would highly recommend Collex. read more

Professional work and superior customer service. Brittany is terrific! Unfortunately, I've needed body work several times in the past few years and every time I've had excellent experiences . read more

I first came upon Collex when someone rear ended me and my bumper had to get changed. It was minor damage, just a hole on one side of the bumper, but the minute I stepped into Collex they made the whole process a breeze! Brittany is so nice and awesome at what she does. You can tell she's fully experienced with the whole claims process and will get in contact with the insurance to make it all seamless. My bumper came out pristine and the car was ready to pick up in less than 1 week. The guys in the shop do great work and the paint job on my pearl white paint was spot on. Fast forward about 1 year later and someone nearly swipes off the whole left side of my front bumper off. This was a lot more damage and I was distressed!! Once I got the claim in through insurance though I knew I'd go back to Collex! I had such a positive experience the first time I knew I'd be in good hands with Collex. Brittany still remembered me one year later and was great once again! Once the car is dropped off she'll have the rental set up if needed for you and reach out to the insurance if a second appraisal or something is needed. I needed this and Brittany made the whole process easy and stress free. I was not looking forward to having to chase after the insurance again and she ensured that didn't have to happen again. There was damage to my fog lamp and headlights this time and I wanted to make sure original factory parts were used. I didn't even have to mention this as Frank already knew this and ordered the OEM parts for the job. You don't have to worry about this shop taking any short cuts or doing an incomplete job. They do it the right way and it shows in their beautiful work. You can expect to be in good hands with Collex and quality work done to the fullest extent. I've come by after 5:30 both times to pick up my car and they're always nice enough to hang around until I make it by to pick up the car. I also love how enterprise car rental is right around the corner, super convenient! read more

I got hit last month in the back of my 2021 atlas Volkswagen blue and I got recommended by a friend of mine's at work. I got in touch with brittany and let me tell you amazing work. Brittany and the rest of her crew went out of their ways to make sure my vehicle looked amazing. 100% came out out of this vehicle. You can't even tell that it was touched, I was treated very well by her and I believe her dad that does amazing work. I wanna say thank you to the whole shop. Me and my wife was so happy and how this vehicle came out. I'm so happy that I found my new body shop it's 45 minutes away from my house but with the work they do I drive two hours again, thank you brittany and thank you for the crew for the amazing work you did on my vehicle I would recommend you to anybody. God bless you all. Thanks again. read more

My husband's car was rear-ended, and I found Collex through my insurance agency. They are a preferred vendor and I certainly learned why. From my initial phone call right through to the end, the experience was easy and fast. Brittany is an asset to this business and knows her job which made a stressful situation easier to deal with. When we arrived to drop off the car, the rental came right after, and we were on our way. She kept us informed every step of the way and worked with the insurance company on any additional costs. I also had asked if they were able to find a stereo at a salvage yard since the one in the car did not work. She called me with a price, and they installed that as well for a minimal cost. It was so easy to just come back, drop the rental and get in our car which was also cleaner then when we dropped it off. I hope that I never need them again but if something were to happen, I would call them first. I highly recommend this location. Thanks Brittany and crew for the great work! read more

Collex was one of the places my insurance company suggested as a place nearby my office to get my bumper replaced after someone rear-ended me on the way to work. From beginning to end the experience was flawless. Britney and Nathan were professional and took all of my concerns seriously as we figured out the best course of action for getting the repairs done. I dropped my car off Monday AM and had it back by Wednesday lunch time. Since it was a recommended shop I did not need to waste anytime getting an appraisal done before hand Collex took care of everything. And took care of it WELL my car looks great. I would come back here even if I was shelling out the $$ read more

Strongly recommend these guys -- I needed a major body repair done on an older car. They went above and beyond to fix everything that was damaged, even slightly. The damaged section looks absolutely new after they finished -- even the pinstripe was matched perfectly. They also worked seamlessly with my insurance company to manage payments. Excellent work -- I'll definitely use them for all upcoming body shop repairs! read more

On 8/21, I was referred to Collex b/c they are a preferred "shop" from my insurance company. I called Collex and was able to drop the car off the same day. Collex also called the local Enterprise Rental and arranged for me to pick up the rental at the same time. I would like to praise Collex for their outstanding customer service and making the process clear. They called with updates and followed up when they said they would. All my interactions with the Collex Team was very positive and the work was fast. The waiting room was also very clean which is very rare for an auto body shop! In case you need public transportation, Collex is 2 blocks from the Malden Center T (orange line). Great experience if you need autobody work. read more

These guys have done work on my personal vehicles and I have referred work to them as well. They have done an excellent job every time. They have incredible attention to detail, and really take the time to do the job right. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Collex is a RIP OFF! I went for an appraisal for two dents; one on the fender and one on the back bumper. Brittany told me I would need to replace both parts because they were "deep" and was almost $1,100 just for the fender itself. It wasn't what I expected so I left and came across another shop around the corner (T&J Auto Center on Charles St). Went in, got a quote, the guy told me he'd charge me $350 to fix AND paint the fender and fix the dent on the bumper for FREE so no replacement needed. It looks like nothing ever happened. Dropped it off Tuesday morning around 10am and picked it up Wednesday at noon. Since I couldn't wait for them to clean my car, they told me to come back whenever I had time to. read more

Excellent coordination with insurance company; great location next to Malden T stop; most expedient return of vehicle with a quality job done right. NOTE: This business does not accept personal checks or credit cards. If you need to pay an insurance deductible, cash, a cashier's check, or money order is required. read more

This place was great! My car needed the whole driver's-side mirror replaced. Their price was $50 less than the dealer where I bought the car, and they were able to get the work done in less time than what the dealer told me. All of their employees were friendly and helpful. Also they are open until 7 at night. I brought my car in Monday night and had it completely repaired in 24 hours, even though they had to order a part from the dealer. They really went out of the way to accomodate me. The only drawback is that they won't take checks or credit cards, but there is a bank a block away, so I just walked over and got the cash. read more

It's stressful when some idiot hits your car & runs! I immediately felt that I was in good hands & my car too when I used Collex for a my auto body repair which was pretty significant. It did help that they were part of my Insurance companies CARE program so everything was seamless. All of my questions were answered on the spot & they ( big shout out to Brittany) called & kept me updated. My car was finished in about 5 days & it looks good as new! Collex is the only place you should consider for your auto body needs. read more

Not only was the work done in record time (24 hours! - OK, so we got lucky because the part was delivered the same day), but my vehicle looks like new, and they thoroughly cleaned it both inside and out. Brittany is a wonderful, caring face-of-the-business. Nobody wants to have to go to a body shop, but if you do, this is the place. read more

When a fire hydrant came out of no where and hit my car (ha,ha,ha) I took it straight to Collex. They were fast, detail oriented, and SO hospitable. When I first arrived, Brittany was fantastic about getting me in and out quickly. She explained the process and then help set me up a rental! They were able to complete the work quickly and it looked like nothing ever happened! The Collex team was so helpful and they worked directly with my insurance to ensure the job would be done quickly and with little work for me to do! I would recommend them over and over - thank you for the great work and even better customer service :) read more

I had a list of preferred auto body shops to choose from my insurance company after being hit by a street sweeper and after reading yelp reviews for this location, they did not disappoint! Britany was very friendly over the phone and explained what she needed before I dropped off my car. When I arrived, she was very detailed oriented when checking the damage to my vehicle and asked if I needed a rental car. I declined and she offered to drive me home! I was blown away with the hospitality :) They followed through with providing me updates during repairs. When the car was ready for pick up, It was like a new car again and it was so clean inside! I would highly recommend them! read more

Collex is a FANTASTIC autobody shop. I have always taken my cars here whenever they needed work done. I live in Billerica and still take my car all the way to Malden because I can trust them. Extremely happy with the work that was done on my car (2014 Ford Fusion). Was involved in a hit&run in a parking lot and the damage wasn't too bad (under $2000). Brought my car to Collex and less than a week later I'm driving my own car again. Brittney (spelling) was extremely helpful and full of information. My car was spotless inside and out when I picked it up. They detailed the inside of my car to perfection. We've been using Collex for many, many years and the end result is always 5 stars. Highly recommend Collex!!! read more

seriously I would not recommend them at all. I really didn't know that you can reuse old part, especially when in an accident. There is more to this story but not happy at all. Next time I am not going to this place. You think you are getting a deal they ripping you off. Make sure you get it in writing if not they will screw you silly. read more

I brought my car to Collex after being in an accident where my car suffered front and rear damage. The customer service is outstanding! I was always kept up to date with the progress of my car. I dropped my car off on Tuesday 11/6/12 and was able to drive it away only a week later on 11/13/2012. One of the fastest turn around times I've ever seen! Their work is also outstanding as the car looks better than the day I bought it! I highly recommend Collex for any kind of body work, you will not be disappointed! read more
