Despite this, I was planning to bring in my second car for an estimate after the first repair was completed. However, after picking up my car, I called to get the contact information needed for my insurance claim. The receptionist was again so blunt and unpleasant to speak with that I decided not to bother him again--including asking my follow-up question about the second car. This place may actually be good for repairs, but I will not be returning because of how I felt every time I walked into the office.

I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

I had to return my car multiple times because every time I picked it up, I found new issues. When I complained about the peeling paint, they gave me a small bottle of touch-up paint and told me to repaint it myself if it peeled again. I also discovered that my insurance company had paid to replace parts such as the front bumper and the door handle, but they were never replaced. The side mirror was simply glued back on. After I confronted them, they admitted the mistake, ordered the parts, and finally installed them, causing even more delays. This review is based on my personal experience. A couple of guys came out, looked at the car, took the VIN, all my personally identifiable information and gave it to their boss... who promptly told me he won't do it because he doesn't use customer provided front bumpers. Apparently customer provided OEM bumpers don't work just the bumpers he orders. It's his shop and that's fine. What's not fine was that he wasted an hour of my time for something he literally could have said in a Yelp message. And now I'm left wondering what they plan on doing with my VIN, home address, phone number, and e-mail. I just read his response. I literally had never been to this area of Tewksbury before let alone his shop.

My wife found Auto Precision based on the reviews, and I'm so glad she did. It was a totally different experience to any repair shop we've used over our many years of car ownership. Both Anatoly and Andrei talked us through things (Andrei the insurance side and Anatoly the car side). They worked directly with our insurance, kept us updated the whole time, kept meticulous computerized records and helped us make sense of what was what with our insurance (including that we had an outstanding check owed to us that we should get re-issued from the insurance company). They took what was a stressful and confusing situation and made it feel straightforward and logical. Most importantly, our Jeep looks beautiful. We had some old scratches from bushes and parking lots and sticky remainders of ill-advised packing tape, and they took care of those things as a little extra with no charge or even mention of them until I brought it up to thank them. They detailed the car, and it felt new despite our multiple kids & dog. They have been in business for 40 years, and it is clear why. Don't let the tiny side street location fool you-I highly recommend them and would go back to them for anything they would take care of.
