Cary and his team analyzed the damage to the car, ordered the necessary parts, and completed the work just two days after I brought my car to Accurate Auto Body. I'd secured a second quote from a different autobody shop prior to going to Accurate - and that quote was hundreds of dollars more expensive. While I hope to keep my car free of bumps, dings or worse, it's good to know that I've founded a trustworthy body shop. I found this auto body shop on my own. The owner was very nice and cared very much for his staff. I unfortunately got screwed by the insurance and I believe this shop really price gouged my insurance. I say this because I was told he only asked for a few hundred more dollars than the original quote but when I got the paperwork back from my insurance he had asked for thousands more. What doesn't help is there was old damage to my vehicle that they used against me on this claim making more work needing to be done. Because of all of this my monthly car insurance is through the roof. The work so far looks well done and my only hope is that it lasts without rust. Another issue was how long it took - about 3 weeks it felt like or more. I'm all for supporting local, but when it's now effecting me monthly financially it seems like a waste. Again a huge problem was also with my insurance company leaving this all a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Great price. Very quick fixed my car after a landscaper crashed into it with a ride on lawn mower. Very organized had rental car company pick me up and I dropped it off at his shop when done no muss no fuss! You need to work with a company you can trust. 100% trust Accurant autobody. I recently got rear ended and knew exactly where to go to get my rear repaired. My car came out looking like new. The body shop is great! I had some bad luck a few years ago being the victim of several hit and runs. Not only did Jim do an amazing job (you could never tell that my car had been in an accident), but he also worked it out that he never had to charge me for the full $500 deductible. They've also helped me out by taking care of all communication with my insurance company and the assessments, and getting a rental car. Fast forward a few years, and I got some scratches on my car. I called on Tuesday and spoke to Cary, dropped my car off yesterday, and picked it up today. They once again did an amazing job, and the cost was much lower than I expected. Got in a minor accident 2 yrs ago figured id have them fix my rusty quarter panel while it was there took about 2 months before it started rusting up again. This was a shot in the dark. Had to find a body shop quickly near my Woburn office after my vehicle was hit by a city bus. Where do you go? After a google search I took a leap and placed my car in the hands of Cary and company at Accurate on Winn Street. Honestly, they were amazing on lots of different levels (and I NEVER write these kinds of reviews). First, Cary the owner was both welcoming, authentic and NOT the stereotypical slick fast talker. He took notes. Explained the process, details and timing. Gave me an estimate that came in right to the dime. He arranged for Enterprise to pick me up and I dropped the car after the repair. No problems. No "oh, this is going to cost you more than the estimate...' phone calls. Only one small complication (they had to keep the car an extra day for paint to dry) was resolved with a simple one day reimbursement of my car rental fee. Gosh! After seeing their work on my friend's pickup and being very impressed, I went to them with a dent on my fender and they replaced the panel with the highest quality sheetmetal and even under coated it for me when I asked. Cary is very knowledgeable and will spend the time to explain what needs to be done to your vehicle and why. He is also great at suggesting options from the low end to high end so that not all repairs end up costing a lot of money. The best thing about dealing with Cary is he is very fair and honest. My husband first brought his car in for repair and was very satisfied with the result (pretty amazing in fact). We decided to bring my minivan in as well, which had some major cosmetic issues. They went out of their way to find after market parts to save us money and charged us a very reasonable rate for a pretty extensive repair. Both times rental cars were arranged. I will never recommend anyone to visit this place. The owner will take everything out from your insurance company with the offer that you don't have to pay deductible. What will happen is you will end up paying much more than your deductible. I would suggest trying other body shop and get a better deal. I don't know why i even went there. jim from accurate has been promising my vehicle to be repaired for so long the once rust spot is now a rot hole and now he wants to charge me extra because of it, it has been over 3 months . the main reason a brought my vehicle there was a small front end collision that he said would take about 4-5 days depending on the insurance, it took not 4 or 5 days, but 23 days for a front bumper cover. i have seen the inside of the shop and it is a complete disaster. the "new shop"(harrison ave.) next door from the old one (winn st.) is no longer his shop (most likely because the way he runs it). now from what i hear, he is selling out to someone, hopefully for the best because he could not run a hamster wheel if it came with video instructions. complete garbage hack shop with that clown jim running it....... for now. and btw, count on needing a complete detail cleaning because of all the bondo and metal grinding dust that simply closing the windows would fix. complete mental inability. do not give these people your business, saving a deductible can be done elsewhere and is not a good reason to hack your car because that deductible comes from somewhere like them getting paid to replace a body panel and instead repair it. all the possitive reviews must be friends of his or fake all together, i know others that had the same experience as mine. read more
