I started using Bonnell Ford after having issues getting a timely appointment at Stoneham Ford where I normally go. I found the Bonnell Ford online scheduling system very user friendly and the experience at the dealership was reasonable at my first visit for warranty repair. After that first positive experience, I booked an 5k service for today. As I left the dealership, after my service was completed, my 2025 Explorer began making a loud scraping sound under the front end. I pulled over and discovered the underbody panel, just below the front bumper, was hanging down and dragging. I returned to the dealership and told them it appeared that some screws were not reinstalled by the lube tech. I also asked the service writer to please have someone do a quality check and make sure all the fasteners were installed properly as my 2025 has only 9900 miles on it and is still like new. He returned with my vehicle and assured me that he double checked personally and all was correct. When I got home, I slid under the Explorer only to find several screws were still missing and the large under body panel was not secured properly. I also found broken clips and hardware which I grabbed as I went back to the dealership where I spoke directly to the service manager. The service manager had my vehicle immediately brought into the shop and then invited me out to have a look. He stated that there would be no reason for the lube tech to take off that particular panel and pointed out what appeared to be scuff marks and suggested that I brought the vehicle in damaged. I argued that my vehicle was like new when I drove it in, and it certainly was not dragging an underbody panel which they already attempted to fix once. He continued to defiantly state that while they would attempt to secure the panel it was not something they caused. As I waited outside for the repair attempt, I walked over to where they stage cars for pick-up, which is where mine was earlier that day. I noticed the curbing is much higher than you would expect it to be, and they are noticeable drag marks and broken pieces of plastic on the ground. Presumable whoever staged my Explorer for pick-up must have driven into the curbing and damaged the underbody panel. Mistakes happen, and in my view it is what you do to remedy the situation that matters. If the service manager had simply made the mistake right instead of blame shifting onto the customer, I would have been more than pleased. Avoid Bonnell Ford at all costs!! They claim to be a "Premium Ford Car Dealership," yet they can't be trusted with an oil change and have ZERO integrity.

Hole from oil fill cap

The same day I brought my F150, mentioned in my previous oil consumption review, I also brought my wife's expedition in for an oil change. We were headed to NH to see the foliage and figured an oil change was in order. In Littleton, NH, 145 miles away our check engine light came on. Upon inspection I found that the oil fill cover was left off by Bonnell's technician and was crushed and imbedded near the air intake under the hood. I covered the oil fill with gorilla tape. I called the Bonnell service department and told Jeff Bonnell of the problem. Engine light stayed on until a helpful auto parts store got me a replacement the next day. I have not heard back from Jeff Bonnell concerning this incident. Do yourself a favor and have your vehicle serviced anywhere except Bonnell Ford. Pictures attached.

I had my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT towed here after a pretty bad front-end collision. Being new to…read morethe area, I immediately felt comfortable bringing my car to Archstone after a brief phone conversation with Danny. He mentioned that the owner, Herman was out for the weekend but would be back on Monday. Herman contacted me on Monday after my car was towed to their shop to discuss the timeframe and details of the job. I was quite concerned and wanted to make certain the job was done right! Herman worked with my insurance company to make sure I received OEM parts for my car as he explained that the insurance company had only provided an estimate for aftermarket parts. Herman kept in close touch throughout the 3 week process of having my car repaired. I was also very concerned about the vinyl hood covering and he made sure he took it to a shop that did the job correctly instead of trying to "fudge it" himself. My car was ready the week he promised however there was one small detail that Herman took care of immediately after I brought the car back for him to correct the issue. While I was there he custom painted some trim for me and applied it to my car. My experience with Herman and Archstone Auto Body Inc was outstanding and I feel all of the "details" were take care of. I Highly recommend and would go to this body shop again if necessary.

I requested a quote from another body shop and Yelp recommended that I also request a quote from…read moreArchstone. Here was what I said: "Need front bumper, underway, fender liners and one side skirt replaced. I have all the panels." And this was the response from "Herman S.": "Hi ; You have to come by an we can take look and give you an estimate. We are open tomorrow 10am to noon." So I hopped in the car and drove 30 minutes for the quote. A couple of guys came out, looked at the car, took the VIN, all my personally identifiable information and gave it to their boss... who promptly told me he won't do it because he doesn't use customer provided front bumpers. Apparently customer provided OEM bumpers don't work just the bumpers he orders. It's his shop and that's fine. What's not fine was that he wasted an hour of my time for something he literally could have said in a Yelp message. And now I'm left wondering what they plan on doing with my VIN, home address, phone number, and e-mail. I just read his response. I literally had never been to this area of Tewksbury before let alone his shop.

This is a long overdue thank you to Hynes Collision and especially to Donna DiVenuti…read more While exiting a parking garage, I caught the right rear door of my 2015 BMW X3 on the corner of a concrete wall. The door sustained minor damage - basically crushed/buckled. It was barely noticeable but I knew it was there and wanted it repaired so I took it to a collision center where I had been going for years. To my surprise, they told me the door needed to be replaced. Obviously, this was an expensive repair and I planned to pay out of pocket so I had to think about it. On a whim, I stopped by Hynes Collision which had recently opened, and met Donna who was very accommodating and did an on-the-spot inspection. She assured me that the door could be repaired not replaced. She called me the next morning with an estimate and my car was in the shop the following week and repaired and looking perfect in a very timely fashion. I was very impressed with both the excellent workmanship and customer service and highly recommend. Thank you, Donna and Hynes Collision Center!

They took the car anyway and worked directly with insurance on estimate and repairs. Work was great - replaced the trunk of my car and removed all small dents and buffed/blended scratches from a branch falling on it. Took 6 weeks. Called several times a week for updates and didn't hear back until several attempts. Front desk ladies were otherwise very helpful and friendly. They cleaned the car well before returning it.
