First of all, I never imagined myself being excited about a body shop, since I associate them with accidents, but Auto Precision has changed that. We had an unlucky year with multiple accidents and I'd been dragging my feet on dealing with insurance to get things taken care of. My wife found Auto Precision based on the reviews, and I'm so glad she did. It was a totally different experience to any repair shop we've used over our many years of car ownership. Both Anatoly and Andrei talked us through things (Andrei the insurance side and Anatoly the car side). They worked directly with our insurance, kept us updated the whole time, kept meticulous computerized records and helped us make sense of what was what with our insurance (including that we had an outstanding check owed to us that we should get re-issued from the insurance company). They took what was a stressful and confusing situation and made it feel straightforward and logical. Most importantly, our Jeep looks beautiful. We had some old scratches from bushes and parking lots and sticky remainders of ill-advised packing tape, and they took care of those things as a little extra with no charge or even mention of them until I brought it up to thank them. They detailed the car, and it felt new despite our multiple kids & dog. They have been in business for 40 years, and it is clear why. After a major accident, I took my car to Precision. They've been in business over 30 years in the same location (an old Ford dealership from the early part of the 20th century). Andrei was great -- got me all set up and in the system; he set my expectations and explained the process. And Anatoly was fantastic: He was very communicative so that I knew things were being handled. In addition, Anatoly even had my car detailed at no charge to me -- it's practically cleaner than when I bought it! He definitely went the "extra mile" and it was such an unexpected and awesome gesture. Not only was the major work done expertly, and the interior detailed, but they also hand polished the exterior of my CRV so that it glistened in the sun! Would recommend to friends and neighbors. I live in walking distance. I stopped without an appointment by for a quote on some auto body work I needed done. Andrei was able to put together an itemized estimate quickly. He said it would likely take 1 week of time to repair and could start the following Monday. The estimate for repairs was also 40% lower than another nearby shop, and the time to wait for repairs to begin and finish were faster than that shop as well. The team there got all the work done in a timely manner, and my car looks better than before when I drove it in - they detailed the exterior.... AND interior (surprise! thanks!). I totally, 150% agree with Alexander C., one of the first reviewers of this business. Anatoly doesn't seem to understand politeness. The more polite you are with him the more he thinks he can rip off you and you insurance company with less effort. In my case he exceeded the timeframe to get the car fixed after a severe hailstorm and had enough impudence to offer one of his vehicles for rent. My Honda had a number of scrapes, dents and several loosened parts. Anatoly who owns the shop is such a gentleman and does not overcharge. He charged me a small fee for a loaner car and had my car ready a day early as I hoped for. When he said " Are you ready for a surprise" I nearly started crying when I saw my car: dent free, waxed, the interior meticulously detailed. It felt like a brand new vehicle. Hidden on a side street in Watertown Auto Precision is truly a gem. In the world of shady autobody shops that try to rip off their customers, Auto precision is the opposite. The team at Auto Precision does great work fast and are always reasonable when it comes to pricing the parts and labor. I would recommend them 100x over. Anatoly, Andre and the team have saved me multiple times and made my care LOOK NEW AGAIN! They were great at handling repairs using claims working well with my insurance company and also did great work on small touch up areas. They have replaced my windshield, fixed both my bumpers, and provided touch up work. Last time I took my car at my dealer Grava's and they did terrible job on my car. Not to mention that they missed one part that has still not delivered after 6 months. They painted the trunk lid and since then the trunk light is malfunctioning. I have called them over and over again regarding the missing emblem but still not result. Auto Precision! I will never take my car anywhere else! This is by far the most affordable, most caring, and most professional auto and body shop I have ever been to. I've been taking my car there for five years. Anatoly (the owner, and nicest man in the universe) knows my name and my car. As a young woman, a LOT of technicians and mechanics have lied to me over the years. Anatoly is always honest and never overcharges me. He also has one of the most affordable labor costs in the area! Three days ago I took my car to Pepboys to get a new battery. They came back and told me that both my rotors needed to be replaced and that all of my springs needed to be replaced. I called up Anatoly and brought my car in the next day. Turns out only one spring needed to be replaced and it wasn't my rotors at all! I went to this shop per recommendation of a friend. The quality of the work frankly was sub-par at best. I had my frond bumper fixed and my rear bumper replaced and there was overspray onto surrounding parts on both bumpers. There was significant overspray onto my grill on the front of the car. I was able to remove this with mild cleaning products but still find it unacceptable. The rear bumper had overspray on the side indicator lights. Also the rear bumper needed two plastic clips to secure it to the vehicle. This shop decided to remove two clips from the interior of my trunk liner to place them in the place of the missing clips. Not only that they left a mess of material in my trunk from the work preformed. I agree the work looks decent from 20 feet away, upon closer inspection it just shows a real lack of caring. I don't expect perfection, but this kind of work is really unacceptable from a shop which clearly is capable of preforming good work. read more
