Not in a position to buy a new door and short on time to get the issue resolved. Kevin worked with my schedule and budget to expertly weld the broken piece returning the door to a 'like new' condition and did it all in a single afternoon. Autobody work is rarely an elected expense. Typically autobody work is needed after an accident or when things fall into disrepair. In those moments you're going to want someone like Kevin that puts the customer experience first, is transparent, communicative, fair and knowledgeable.

Steve's customer service feels like something nostalgic that doesn't exist anymore except for in his shop. He had a rental ready for me at the shop when I went to drop off my car making the process quick and seamless. The rental place he uses does not charge the customer and only charges the insurance taking some stress off the customer when insurance companies often charge after 2 weeks of having a rental. Steve stays in communication with your insurance company so you don't have to. I had $10,000 worth of damage to my car and he made it look brand new. I truly love Steve he is such a nice guy and doesn't stop until everything is absolutely perfect! He also offered to drive my car an hour and a half to get it to me since I live far away. I truly don't know anyone else like him or anyone who runs business in such a kind and thoughtful way. The first time I took my car to Steve's son Stephen it was after I had already taken my car to somewhere else and they didn't fix it. A tree had fallen on my car during a tornado and I had taken it where the insurance company wanted me to, months later my car still had a leak and the first place couldn't fix it, so then I took it to Stephen who spent a long time hosing my car down to see exactly where the leak was coming from and fixed it right away. He was able to tack it onto my first claim since it was an unresolved issue. Not many places are this helpful or kind. I cannot recommend them enough!

There are hardly words to explain the level of excellence that I experienced at K&C AUTO BODY. It's such a rare thing -especially in the auto industry- that on any level. a customer- and especially a single woman-feels truly take care of, not ripped off- at all and instead feels as though the shop was there to provide honest service. K&C is an exceptional shop. They are helpful, thorough, and their workmanship is fantastic. They go above and beyond what you expect to deliver your car in a timely and fair manner. Their prices, attitude, approach and level of professionalism is unrivaled. I urge anyone who has any need for any collision body work done, of any kind, to go to K&C and you will feel happy about the money you spent- yes HAPPY and satisfied, because the price will be fair and your car will come out looking better than when it went in. My car was dirty and horrible from all the snow, and not only did the fix the damage, at a very good price, they cleaned my car to make it look shiny and brand new!!! Following a fender bender, the other car owner mentioned he would be taking their vehicle to K & C's auto body, I had never been there prior. I decided to give them a try simply to see if he could help me save money if I had him fix both cars there as I was trying to avoid an insurance surcharge and pay out-of-pocket for both accidents. Paulo is the owner, a very sincere gentleman, looked at my car and assured me it wasn't as bad as it looked. He was so reassuring, and helped me work out a deal so that I could afford to repair my car and the other person's at an affordable rate. And, tried to help me avoid the insurance surcharge. His price and mannerism were so reassuring, that I decided to give him a try. Naturally, as a first-timer here, I wondered how good it would be for this fabulous price??? Well, let me say, when my car was returned it was beautiful, cleaned, inside and out, and back to normal; all at a rate I could afford. If i could give 10 stars i would !! Somehow our Honda Pilot looks better than new !! Brought our 2014 to K&C with a lot of body damage !! 2 accidents in 3 days both sides front to back ! so your thinking bad luck right ?? no not even close i got to meet one of the best guys ever the owner of K&C Paulo !! He really cares about your car ! but really cares about you more ! could not have done anymore for me if he tried !! This place needs to be over run with business !! can't even think how any other auto body shop could out do the service they offer !! I had to turn down several things just because i felt that i would be taking advantage of them !! But they insisted that they could bring me home or have a rental waiting for me and the list goes on ! right down to the pick up of my car ! goes and starts my car so it will be cool for me takes me out to inspect the car from end to end !!!! i climb in and realize that the entire interior has been shampooed and cleaned !! My 19 year old son recently hydroplaned in his 2002 Mercury Sable and needed some serious front-end repair. We were on a shoe-string budget and considered the possibility of having to junk the car. We had used K&C's Auto Body in the past for our own vehicles, so we took it over for Paulo DeCosta and his team to take a look at it. Paulo determined that with the creative use of used parts and some new parts where necessary, we could get it fixed and NOT break our budget. They had the car repaired, painted and ready to go within a week. We're very pleased with the work that was done and the price ($1700 for full front-end replacement (front bumper, hood, grill, new radiator, etc), labor and paint job. Would recommend K&C highly to anyone looking for auto work on the North Shore! read more

I have used K & C's for a couple years now and for good reason. Anytime I have had any problems with my car, whether it is a scratch or a part replacement, he was able to get it done efficiently and cheaply. For the past three years I have had to take my 1999 Ford Escort up and down the east coast to go to and back from school clocking in about 1,000 miles each way, and every time I go I always stop by to make sure that my car is safe for the trip. Not once have I had a problem and to have that kind of security and confidence is paramount. I highly recommend K & C's, the help and security that he has provided me is something that I have never received at any other auto body shop. read more

I went to k&c auto body after my car was rear ended. The accident was completely at fault of the other driver involved, but insurance didn't want to cover the total cost of the accident. But thanks to Paul Costa, this wasn't the case. He helped me fight these insurance companies and my car was 100% covered! Also he has done phenomenal work on my car for a great price. I have had work done at K and C over a number of years and on multiple vehicles. Results are always excellent. I have had collision repairs done as well as personal work such as repairing rust rot around wheel wells and windshields. Paint always blends in nicely. Now under new ownership. Paulo is always friendly and looks for best parts prices amongst vendors. He is out to keep the customer happy. read more

Very pleased with the folks at K & C. Got into a bit of a fender bender with the grill getting cracked and crushed as well as the hood being folded under with paint missing. They gave me what I thought to be a reasonable estimate, did the work in short time, and my Passat looks as good as new. I'll be going back to have them work on some scratches on the trunk. I just picked up my Subaru outback from k&c having front and rear body work done. It looks like new. Pedro was able to get my car right in, get the parts in within a day and get my car done earlier than expected. He did the work for the quote he have me which was less than what the dealer quoted me. While the quality of the auto body repair was undeniably impressive--the car looks flawless, and the interior and exterior detailing was thorough and well-executed--my overall experience was marred by several troubling issues that reflect poorly on their professionalism and customer service. Firstly, despite my insurance having already paid the deductible, I was unexpectedly asked to pay it again upon vehicle pickup on January 16th. This forced me to call my insurance on speakerphone in their office to prove that the deductible had been settled. Such an incident raises serious concerns about their billing practices and transparency, and frankly, it felt like an attempt to wrongfully extract additional money from me. Moreover, I had to call them and tell them that my insurance did pay for the emblem, then they reviewed it and replaced it, but it still wasn't up to my standards of a 5-star place review-wise. On top of that, upon inspecting my vehicle, I discovered that the cup holder was broken, with a crucial piece missing--something they failed to disclose. It is unacceptable that I had to find this damage myself rather than being informed upfront. When I brought it to their attention, they only then took steps to order the replacement part. Although I appreciate them replacing what they broke, this added to my frustration with their service. Additionally, I was not provided with any paperwork at the time of pickup; I had to contact my insurance to obtain the necessary documentation. This further adds to the impression of disorganization and disregard for proper customer service. while the repair quality is excellent and deserves a high rating, the deceptive billing attempt, failure to disclose damage, poor communication, and the detailing that fell short of my expectations significantly detract from the overall experience. I expect a reputable auto body shop to operate with integrity and transparency--qualities that were sorely lacking in this case. I sincerely hope Peabody Auto Collision Corp. takes these concerns seriously and improves their customer relations moving forward.

The team at 1st Class Auto Body has hit the highest level of benchmarks and standards that anyone can ask. I've been their three times. Two with my new Tesla and previously with my SUV. I scuffed up my new Tesla getting use to the wider body frame and they went above and beyond to get the correct red color for the scratches, but, also lent me a loner car (a luxury sedan) free of charge while my car was tied up for three days. Since I was paying for this myself, they were more than fair on the price, in fact coming in below the estimate. They detailed my car before I arrived to pick it up. Looked showroom quality!!! Do yourself a favor next time you need help. 5 stars and well deserved!!!
